The smell of a near by onsen, Sing-song birds, and the crisp morning air, is what awoke the slumbering lord.
Not that he really was in a slumber, more like he was in a meditating state; he hadn't slept a wink since the incident with the miko- fox.

Sesshoumaru's POV

Kagome, I can't get her out of my head, and frankly it's pissing me off.
Her midnight black hair with the intense blood-red highlights and her fair skin.
Those cobalt eyes specked with sliver, her dainty nose, her crimson lips, and that neck oh that neck- how I would love to sink my fangs into it, mark her. Lastly her scent that was simply indescribable.


It's only been two days and I've already lost my cool more than once.
I've cussed more in two days than in the last 100.
The wench is getting to me but how, and in what way is she?

With his new resolve he stood and made his way through the lush forest back to the clearing where the camp lay.
When he reached the camp he noted there was only one kitsune, who was reheating that delicious meal with his fox-fire.
"Where's your mother kit."
Shippou looked at him with indifference and handed him a bowl.
"Why hello Lord Sesshoumaru, beautiful day is it not."
"Don't ignore me kit where is your mother."

"Can't you smell it she is in the near by onsen."

"One thing you might want to know about my mother is that she loves to bathe a lot, and she loves to make every journey into a leisure one, no matter how urgent.
She's powerful enough to do that, besides we told the hanyou we'd be back in a month's time." he explained

"What did you do?" Shippou asked suddenly

"What did you do last night; she came back quite upset and pissed."

If you do, mark my words I will find a time, no matter how long it takes to catch you off guard and ram one of my ethereal spikes right through that non-existent heart of yours!" he growled out his once emerald eyes sporting the trademark blood red of a pissed off youkai.
'Through out the kits whole speech he was amazed, he was impressed with the kit. 'It takes true loyalty, to stand up against me'
"You know Kit that would be dishonorable, aren't you training to be a warrior."
"Warrior be damned I don't give a shit about that, when it comes to my mother, and someone hurting her physically or emotionally
will pay with their life. I will go to any means necessary to aide and or do just that." Shippou stated calmly now, knowing he was only trying to rail him up.

"How old are you kit?"

"I'm 14 summers Lord Sesshoumaru."

"Does Kagome know that you spit such foul words out of your mouth like the half-breed?"

At that remark Shippou stuck his tongue out and sped off.

It's been awhile since I could do this, and not rush for that hanyou.
But, now my life has taken another unexpected turn.

She went into her large red bag she traded in for the yellow one.
She began to lather her second favorite scents, almond and honeysuckle.
Oddly enough those were the only scents that would somewhat override her natural scent A.K.A druggie scent, her body admitted.
She liked her natural scent that was lavender and cucumber melon; strong and powerful like her but, she didn't want her traveling partners to mess up when they were fighting, so she washed with the others.
The lofa she brought from home ran gently across her smooth pale-peach skin, cleaning every nook and cranny.
Once she was cleaned to her liking she dunked and proceeded to wash her hair with the same scented shampoo.
When task done she laid back to relax. Her silent musings were abruptly stopped by a very familiar pain in her loins.

She quickly went into her large red bag and pulled out her fighting kimono; originally it was going to be saved for fighting Naraku but she saw the occasion fitting. 'I'll just have to make another one.' she thought

Pulling the kimono over her head it fell perfectly in place.
She made it specially like that for quick changing, it was a white mid-thigh kimono that had a green dragon in the front and her trademark kitsune on the back.
Her sleeves fell to her standard floor length, the embroidery was gold thread.
Once changed, she formed energy into her right hand and let her left bend it into the shape of long sword. After it had it's shape she expelled some pure white energy making it solid. Kagome stared at her handy work, out of thin her pure energy she created a sword.
"It scares me sometimes how powerful I've become."
Leaving her stuff there for later, she got up and speed off towards the camp.
In a matter of seconds she appeared in the middle of the clearing.

"SESSHOUMARU...PREPARE YOURSELF." she yelled with venom
