+Rocking Love+

Kikyou moaned at her alarm clock.

"Mm... Sunday..."

She got out of bed, sore from the previous night.

"Dammit, Sesshoumaru hurts."

"Kikyou! Phone!" yelled Miroku knocking hard on her door.

Kikyou was decent enough to answer the door so she opened it and grabbed the phone from her brother.

"Hullo?"

"Yeah, it's uh... Sesshoumaru."

"What do you want this time?"

"Look um... I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean for it to go that far."

"Sesshoumaru, SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Kikyou yelled almost loud enough for her house to hear.

"Sessh, it was fucking hot. I fucking loved it."

"So you're not mad? You sure? What about Inuyasha?"

"What about Inuyasha? He was alseep, if he were awake he wouldda helped out."

"Yeah I guess so... here he is, and I already told him."

"Hullo, Inuyasha?"

"Hey Kikyou. How was it without me?" he sounded dissapointed, with a hint of sarchasm.

"Well... it fucking rocked. But it hurts, I'm still sore."

"Oh, well I'm sorry. I'll see you at the show early okay?"

"Kay, I love you."

Kikyou hung up and got dressed in her usual puky outfits. Ready to go to school for the show, she made sure her family was ready.

"Everybody ready?"

"Just changing Kagome."

"Okay."

By the time they had left, Kikyou was so amped she couldn't sit still in the car.

"Kikyou if you don't stop I'm going to shove you out the door." said Miorku.

"Shut up ass-hole. Atleast I have things to look forward to."

"Like what? Rock on the stage then have Inuyasha fuck you again?"

"Damn Miroku, that is none of your fucking business."

"Whatr'you gonna do Kikyou?"

"goingoing to fucking kill you."

Miroku shut up not wanting to see if Kikyou would really do it. She had a strict look on her face. Everyone in the car was silent.


When they had arrived, the family was seated and they were getting ready, Kikyou shyly walked over to Inuyasha.

"Um..."

"What Kikyou? You think I'm mad about last night?"

She nodded.

"Damn straight. Kikyou, it woulda been fine if you had fucking told me. Just don't worry about it. It's not like it's affecting my love for you."

He kissed her deeply before pulling away.

"Wanna meet the creator?"

"Huh?"

Inuyasha laughed and told her while walking her down the aisle. She slung her guitar on her back while she walked over with Inuyasha towards a man who looked like and older version of Sesshoumaru.

"This is my dad, InuTaishou. Dad, Kikyou... Kikyou this is "the creator"..."

"Oh! I get it!"

InuTaishou stood up and shook her hand. A firm yet comforting grip.

"Nice to finally meet you. If my bone head son didn't shut his mouth, I would have never had the pleasure."

Kikyou laughed, "Oh him, yeah I can't take him anywhere."

Kikyou hugged Inuyasha and walked with him back behind the stage.


Adrenaline rushing, heart racing they slowly started to play their anthem.

Here was her solo, jumping in the air and coming back down on her notes. Eyes closed, ROCKING ON:

Silence. Silence that seemed like years to them. Then applause, watching everyone standing, yelling, screaming ENCORE. Kikyou grabbed the microphone.

"If you want more wait till' we write more!" she yelled playfully.

"We do have one other song. Kikyou just go along, you'll get it..." said Sesshoumaru smiling.

Kikyou waited, heart raced again. Listened to Sesshoumarus guitar. It was "I Am" by Hitomi. One of her favorite songs. She smiled.

After those 4 and a half minutes, Kikyou sweating smiled at Sesshoumaru. The sweat on him was dripping of hose ose and chin and he looked like he fell in a river. She looked back at Inuyasha, how good he looked with his hair sweaty and slicked behind his ears. She said her goodbyes to the crowd and they went backstage.

"Oh Sesshoumaru I fucking love you for that!"

"I know..." he said, trying to look important.

"Well Kikyou... that rocked, it fucking rocked." said Inuyasha.

"I know it did. Let's do it again sometime!" she said smiling.

"Yeah, and I have some ideas for new songs..." Sesshoumaru seemed quiet but eager.

"Well for fucking out loud, why didn't you fucking say so you idiot!" yelled Inuyasha, hitting his brother on the head.

"Dammit Inuyasha, don't hurt his head! That's where the song ideas are!" cried Kikyou in a mock dramatic way.

"Oh, heh heh... sorry..." Inu smiled and hugged his brother.

"So um... can I play it for yeh?" asked Sesshoumaru, picking up his bass guitar.

Inuyasha and Kikyou nodded and waited.

He started to play "Pain". Kikyou absolutely LOVED the solo she was given and started to play it, slowly, trying to get the fingering right.

"Yeah, sorry it's kinda tough. But it's sound so fucking good when you do it right."

"Eh... I'll get it..." Kikyou tried again.

"So Kikyou... Sessh school is having a party... wanna go tonight?" asked Inuyasha

"Like a frat party? Are there going to be drunken druggies there..?" Kikyou sounded nervous.

"Well no, but there will be booze!" beamed Sesshoumaru.

"Well as long as I don't have to drink any. What a shitty conversation with mom THAT would be..."

"No, you don't have to drink anything... just come and dance, chill out..." Inuyasha smiled.

Kikyou walked into Sesshoumarus dorm, she could already hear the music through the door. She didn't knock, knowing that no one would hear her. She walked in slowly, like she was in charge. She did look the part with a short black and red corset dress she had picked out. She had on her usual combat boots and a loosened tie. Her hair, she left alone but put glitter in it with red highlights.

She spotted Inuyasha, beer in hand and decided to stay away from him, but bumped into Sesshoumaru. He hugged her, looking her in the eye.

"Glad you showed!" he smiled and kissed her.

She could smell the booze on him , like it was the way he always smelled. She shied away but she found herself tempted to try even just a little.

But a little, turned into a little more. And by the time it was 11:00 she had drank a little too much. Falling over things and bumping into walls as she made her way to the bathroom. She ignored the people making out in the hallways, and the two girls splashing in the bathtub together, giggling and slurping up heroine from the side of the bath.

She kneeled down over where they were, nearly colapsing. A man with a tattoo handed her a straw and motioned towards the heroine, begging her to take some. Kikyou leaned over the white powder and slurped as fast as she could.

After realizing what she did, she hung her head over the sink, watching her reflection in the mirror as it wiggled and shifted. Her stomach muscles tensed and she threw up. Bright yellow into the sink. Flushing it down and letting it all out. She got back into the main rooms and without even saying goodbye, finally managed to get home.

The next morning she realized that she was still fully dressed, flopped on her floor. Her mother had taken off her boots and put a blanket on her during the night. She only hoped her mother didn't know what had happened.

She pulled off her dress, slowly unlacing the sides. She slipped a t-shirt and a pair of pants overherself and cautiously went downstairs. Still feeling dizzy, she had to use the hand rail on the stairs for once, and the walls for balance. She made it into the kitchen shortly later and sat down hard on the chair.

"Morning Kikyou." said her mother coldly.

"You know don't you?" she sighed.

"Miroku told me, what you've been up to lately." she breathed over her coffee.

"Yeah, what'd the little punk ass say?" Kikyou reminded herself to kill her brother later.

"Well, aside from doing very well in the talent show. He told me about Sesshoumaru, and the strip club, and this college party of yours."

"HOW THE HELL DID HE KNOW!?" she yelled dingding up, but instantly regretting it as a strong migrane came shooting through her forehead.

"He was there, though aparently you didn't notice him, since you were to busy sniffing up heroine!" her mother yelled, nearly dropping her coffee cup.

"Look mom! WAIT! I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it I just. As soon as I had already had a beer then I just couldn't think straight anymore!"

"That's the problem Kikyou! You did have one beer! And I suppose this hangover is enough punishment for now. Now go upstairs and stay in your room. Trust me you'll want to lay down."

"Can I keep Kagome with me?"

Her mother nodded, after a long pause. Kikyou took her from her high chair and went upstairs.

Her phone rang, she didn't answer it right away, letting the machine get it. Glancing at the caller ID confirmed her thought. It was Inuyasha, or Sesshoumaru... but she didn't quite feel good. She fumbled the phone and picked it up off the floor. Cradling Kagome in her arm she pressed the talk button.

"What do you want?" she moaned.

"What do you mean? I just wanted to make sure you're okay." It was Inuyashas calm voice.

"NO! I'm not okay! I have a fucking migrane, and I'm pissed at you a hell of alot!"

"But what did I...?"

"Inuyasha! Look... I know that avoided you at that shitty party, I didn't talk to Sessh either. But I did drink, and I did some heroine. then I puked it up and went home."

"Oh Kikyou. I'm sorry, you thought that... no I was just holding that drink for someone. You thought I? Oh Kikyou I'm so sorry. Can I come over and cheer you up?"

"Yeah, I could use the company. Kagome can't even walk yet so she's not as fun."

"Okay I'll be right there. I'll make you something, it's a family secret for hangovers."

Kikyou laughed, said goodbye and hung up. She called her own house phone, since she couldn't yell to anyone else.

"Hey mum?"

"Oh, Kikyou..."

"Yeah, look I'm REALLY SORRY... okay I just didn't..."

"Kikyou, I understand it's okay, I know how it feels to want to fit in. Don't worry about it okay?"

"Okay, tell Inuyasha I'm upstairs okay?"

"Okay hun, can I get you anything?"

"No, Inuyashas making something."

"Okay then. Get better, hangovers are the worst."

"Thanks mom, I STILL love you."

Inuyasha was sitting on Kikyous bed with her and Kagome in his arms. Kagome yawned and started to fall asleep. Kikyou stared at the strange looking drink that Inu had brought her.

"What the fuck is in here?"

"Can't tell you, but it's some nasty shit. You won't like the taste but it'll help."

"I think I'm gonna throw it all up..."

Kikyou ran into the bathroom and turned the water on in the sink. Inuyasha sighed hearing her wretch.

"JUST DRINK IT!" he yelled.

Kikyou did, and then felt tired. Weak in her body, she had to lay down on her bed to regain the feeling in her arms and legs. Inuyasha put a hand to her head.

"You're getting hot."

He lay Kagome down next to her, and got her a cold cloth for her head. Kikyou held it there.

"How'd your mom find out?" he asked.

"Miroku... that damned bastard... I'm going to fucking shoot him..."

"Don't get mad, you've been forgiven... plus you haven't heard what happened to him yet."

Kikyou raised an eyebrow, questioning him.

"He's got a woman now!" Inuyasha smiled.

Kikyou sat up quickly, looked sick and flopped back down.

"WHAT?! WHO THE FUCK WOULD GO OUT WITH HIM?!" she yelled.

"Sango Edogawa. You know, from the strip club."

"You mean that chick who looks like me? DAMN..."

"Yeah, and Kikyou. You have work tonight."

"Dammit to hell! Shit! I hate this! One more fucking time! One more time I'll dance! Then that's it!"

Inuyasha hugged her, picking her up bridal style. Carrying her and Kagome downstairs.

"Mom? I'm going to go to work, one more time."

"Kikyou... mm... alright ONE more time. But please, be safe..."

Kikyou's song was "Pain". She had finally learned the solo and set up her guitar so she could play it. She would be dancing, and playing guitar for this new song called "Pain". Sesshoumaru had brilliantly devised the plans for some new songs and the three of them had learned most of them. Sessh had even thrown in the twist of original Japanese lyrics, because he loved the way Kikyou pronounced the old language.

"Takes my pain away!" sang Sesshoumaru.

Dressed in a flowy, white lace dress and angel wings she slowly started her dance. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru could barely concentrate on their music because Kikyou was slowly weaving around the shiny silver pole. They tried to look away and concentrate, closing their eyes and singing.

"Takes my pain away!"

Kikyou grabbed her guitair for her solo, working her fingers around the fret board and playing her notes as quickly and smoothly as possible. It went over well with the crowd who cheered and yelled out to her as she finished her performance.

"It's a lie, a kiss with open eyes,
And she's not breathing back,
Anything but bother me,
IT TAKES MY PAIN AWAY!"

Kikyou bowed shortly and went backstage. Dressing quickly she rushed out to the stage where Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru were.

"Ready to go?" she panted

"Shit Kikyou, you don't even want to stay?" asked Sesshoumaru, putting his guitar back in it's case.

"No, I do not want to fucking stay, I'm going to get in trouble and plus I fucking hate it here." she said through her teeth, noticing that Naraku was coming over.

"Hello Kikyou. I've heard from Sango that you were leaving."

"Yeah, what of it? I can do whatever the fuck I want to." she snorted.

"Oh, well I'm sorry if that's the way you feel. Talk to me in my office."

Kikyou realized she couldn't escape him, and nodded for Inuyasha and Sessh to go back to the car and wait for her.

She sat down in a comfy red chair, in front of Narakus desk.

"Tell me Kikyou... are you a virgin?" he said calmly.

"Why the fuck do you want to know?" she retorted quickly.

"It's just a simple question."

"No I'm not a virgin." she breathed lowly.

"Who was it to defile you first? Inuyasha or Sesshoumaru?" he said, again with no emotions.

"Inuyasha..." she said through clenched teeth.

"Would you ever get together with me?" he said with a slight smile.

"Um.. I dont think so..."

"But Kikyou why not? Aren't you proud to work for me, wouldn't you like to get every benefit I offer?"

"NO! Not if it includes you and me getting together!" she yelled.

"You know Kikyou, I'm really going to miss you." he walked by her, putting his arms around her waist.

"Don't give me that bull shit Naraku, if you want me, too bad! I've got Inuyasha." she struggled from his grip and ran out, stepping down hard on the floor.

Getting to the car she got in and buckled her seat belt.

"Everything okay Kik?" asked Inuyasha quietly.

"Fine, now that I don't have to deal with that cocky bastard again." she said nearly sad.

"What do you mean?" asked Inuyasha

"Nothing just King Naraku asked me some questions. But he's out of my life now." she sighed.

"Kikyou, what did he ask you?"

"Nothing he just... he wanted me to... YOU KNOW WHAT! IT DOESN'T MATTER OKAY?!"

Inuyasha stopped the car quikly, Sesshoumaru stayed quiet. Inu turned in his seat to face her, she looked away from him out the window.

"Kikyou, yes it does matter! If he tried to hurt you I'm going back there and I'll KILL HIM!" Inu tightened his grip on the steering wheel.

"He just wanted me to... be with him... that's all."

Inuyasha was aparently satisfyed with that information and drove on, ocassionaly looking in the rear-veiw mirror at her.

Inuyasha dropped off Sesshoumaru at his job on the way home to his house. Sesshoumaru had college classes on some days, but worked part-time during the night.

After putting away all the band equipment they sat upstairs on Inuyashas bed. Kikyou was curled on top of him playing with his hair. He had his arms around her and was stroking her back.

"Kikyou, did Naraku try to..."

"No... he just tried to hug me, then I ran to the car. But don't worry Inu, I don't have to go back there."

"Good, I don't want you there. It's just not right. You're 16 and that's not old enough to do things like that, Kikyou you really worry me sometimes. It's like when you get mad, I feel like I'm losing you, almost like you go out of control. I feel like you won't come back to me."

"Inuyasha don't say things like that, I'll always be here with you. I... I don't ever want to leave you."

"Kikyou, I love you. Sometimes, I feel like I'm gonna explode, like there's so much love in my heart for you that one day I just won't be able to keep it all in."

"Then show me Inu, let it out. Show me how you feel."

She put her hand over his heart, hoping to release the pain and love he felt for her. He leaned down and kissed her passionatly. holding her as tight and close as he could without hurting her, she returned the kiss wich told him that she felt the same way.

"Inu, more. I just want you to... show me more..."

I bet you can guess where that leads... Anyways this is a LONG chapter! I was so happy to write it all down, it took a while and I now have TONS of ideas! There will be another load of chapters when I get all the words right, but for now keep reveiwing and reading this one!
