Sesshoumaru let out a great howl of pain when he read the note. She had left him, but there was no chance in hell he would let her get away. They were mates and mates was supposed to stay together. He did not care if she turned old again. He wanted her to be at his side for all time.
He left the castle and sniffed the air. He found her scent trail and followed it back to the village where he first had found her. ‘Little Kaede, don’t you think you can leave me. We are mates, and mates stay together, it is as simple as that love.’ He thought as he descended down in mid middle of the village, scaring the people half to death with his appearance.
“Where is the miko’s hut?” he asked with his stoic voice.
“Kaede-sama?” stuttered a man.
”Yes Kaede-sama, where can I find her?”
“Her hut is just below the stairs to the shrine my lord.” Said the man.
“Thank you.”
Sesshoumaru walked over to where he had been showed.
There below the stairs lay Kaede’s hut, it was a small one but it did the job she needed it to do. As he walked up to the hut Kagome can out with a bow and arrows. She know that a demon was in the village and she got ready to fight if need be.
"Sesshomaru what have you done to Kaede?" yelled Kagome as she got her bow ready.
"Where is she?" Sesshomaru said in his cold voice, ignoring the young girl’s question.
"Why would I tell you, she does not want to see you. NOW GO!!" Kagome said pointing the arrow at him.
Before she knew what happened, Sesshomaru had her by the neck, ready to kill her. "I will ask one last time if I don't get the answer I want I will kill you."
Kagome did not want to tell him but he had a good point, well he has five good points. Each one of them where cutting into her neck. Miroku came running out, “She went to the Temple, to an old hut in the back yard.”
Lord Sesshomaru dropped Kagome and started to walk to the Temple to find his mate. When he saw it, Kaede was sitting on the porch she looked up to see him walking over to him.
“Don’t come over here Lord Sesshomaru.” she said and got up to walk in to the hut.
Just then his hits a barrier “Kaede why are you doing this we are mates and there not a thing you or I can do about that. Come with me my love I don’t care if you don’t stay young, I love you.”
When she came out of the hut she was not alone, next to her was Naraku. Naraku put his arms around her waist and nuzzled his nose in her neck. Sesshomaru eyes started to turn red when Naraku touched Kaede; he wanted to kill him slowly.
“Naraku get your hands off my mate NOW or I will kill you slower then I first planned to.” Lord Sesshomaru was trying not to let his Demon out but it was getting harder by the minute.
Kaede gave Sesshomaru a look and mouthed *I’m so sorry my love*
Naraku looked up at Lord Sesshomaru and ran his hand up to Kaede’s right breast. Sesshomaru was trying to keep his anger under control.
“She is not yours Sesshomaru I have made her my mate now. Lady Kaede will not come back to you now, but I will let you say your goodbyes before we go.” With that he kissed Kaede on the lips and walked back in the hut.
She just stood there but she did not look at him, “I am sorry my lord I did not want you to get hurt.”
He walked up to her and put his hand on her check running his tongue over her lips “My mate tell me why you are doing this what does he hold over you?”
She looked up at him and said one word, “RIN” then a tear ran down her face.
