Memories Can Return

Chapter Four: Betrayal Hurts
Disclaimer: I dont own Inuyasha. We know that already, but they make us write it. *sigh*
Hellooooo!!!! See I said it would be up the next day. I have nothing else to say.... Damn just read it.

"Yes I am the one who revived you Kyoko," The woman said, " My name is Kikyo."
Kyoko gasped." Kagome tol told me about you. But.. she said you tried to kill Inuyasha!"
Kikyo's eyes filled with anger. "Kyoko, if you knew who you were, you would want to kill him as well." 'And also me.'
Kyoko said, "You know who I am?! Can you tell me?"
"No. I cannot tell you. That would be a disaster. I am sorry Kyoko."
Kyoko nodded sadly.
"I do have one request however," Kikyo said. Kyoko looked up." Do not tell anyone that you saw me. I do not want them to know who revivou. ou. Do you understand?"
Kyoko nodded and walked away.
Kikyo watched her walk away.
'She has no clue. I knew this would happen. Good.'
She looked up and smirked at the one who she knew was watching her, even though they didn't know.
"Good luck trying to tame this one." She said, hearing a gasp.

Kyoko walked back to the camp.
'What was that all about? She knew who I was, but wouldn't tell me. I wonder if Inuyasha knows who I am. But I won't ask him.'
She went and sat back at the tree she had been sleeping at. She was thinking, and didn't even notice she had fallen asleep util it it was morning.
"Kyoko?" Kyoko opened her eyes. Kagome was standing in front of her again. "Its time to go."
Kyoko nodded and stood up. Everyone else was ready to go.
"Let's go. We are almost there."Inuyasha said impatiently.
They set off. No one talked much.
Then Shippo broke the silence by asking Kagome for a lolipop. Kagome gave him one, and everything was quiet again.
Soon Kyoko was able to hear voices. They were far away however.
'I hope that Sesshoumaru would be the only person looking for her if he knew she was alive.' Inuyasha thought, realizing how they had not seen Naraku in a while.
Kyoko stopped suddenly, sniffing the air.
"What is it, Kyoko?" Kagome asked.
"I don't know, but it smells llike something bad."
Now Inuyasha could smell it.
"Naraku."veryveryone except for Kyoko gasped.
They didn't expect Naraku to show up himself when he appeared in front of them, but he did. No one else. He wasn't even using a puppet this time.
"Well well, isn't this a surprise? Finding Lady Kyoko alive, when she killed herself so many years ago." Naraku said.
Inuyasha stepped in front of Kyoko. "Stay away from her!"
But Kyoko now stepped in front of Inuyasha. "You know who I am?" She asked Naraku hopefully.
She was pulled back however, by binuyinuyasha and Kagome.
"Kyoko," Kagome said, "Naraku is our sworn enemy! You can't trust him!"
Kagome then, unknown to everyone else, put a spell on the shard in Kyoko's heart that would prevent Naraku from touching it.
"Yes Kyoko," Naraku said, acting nice to her, "I know who you are. And if you come with me willingly I can tell you."
"You shut up! Stop lying to her!" Inuyasha said.
"Kyoko, "Kagome said, "Naraku will do nothing but hurt you. He wants the jewel shard, and he wants you to kill Inuyasha. You cant go with him!"
Kyoko turned towards Naraku. "I wont go with you, Naraku."
He shrugged. "Fine, we'll do this the hard way."
He charged toward Kyoko, slamming her to the ground. He went so fast that inuyasha couldn't stop him. He went to take the shard from Kyoko's heart, but then something strange happened. Kyoko threw him off of her like a rag doll.
Everyone was surprised, including Kyoko herself.
Naraku, however, disappeared, leaving Kyoko surprised at what she just did.
'Shippo was right, she is strong.' Inuyasha thought.
Kyoko thought, 'How did I do that?'
"It's a good thing you are so strong Kyoko, or you'd be dead." Shippo commented.
Kyoko nodded slightly.
"Well...ummm" Kagome started.
Inuyasha finished for her, "Lets get going. We are almost there."
Everyone nodded.
They set off again.
Soon they reached Kaede's village, where everyone was stopping to stare at Kyoko. She could hear their whispers.
"A demon?" "I can understand the hanyou being here, but a full blooded youkai?" "I wonder what she is doing here."
"They dont trust me." Kyoko said.
Kagome sighed. "They have a good reason to dislike and not trust demons."
Then something caught Inuyasha's eye. He looked to the left and gasped. Half the village was gone.
Everyone followed his gaze and gasped.
"What happened?" Sango asked.
"We are going to find that out!" Inuyasha said, storming towards Kaede's hut.
When they got to Kaede's hut, she was inside.
When she saw them, she asked, "Why are ye back so early?" then she saw Kyoko"Who-"
"This is Kyoko. I will explain later. Right now we need an explanation to why half of the village is destroyed!"
Kaede sighed. "Sit."
Everyone did.
"Sesshoumaru attacked the village in search of you, Inuyasha. I told him you were not here and stopped him from destroying the rest of the village." Kaede looked at Inuyasha. "He seemed extremely angry at ye, Inuyasha. I do not know why, but he did say that if he found ye he would rip ye to shreds for taking her."
"Taking who?" Miroku asked?
"I do not know. i am only repeating what he said." Kaede said.
Inuyasha said, "Kagome, why don't you take Kyoko and show her around whats left of the village?"
Kagome knew that Inuyasha wanted to tell Kaede about Kyoko so she did.
When they were gone, Inuyasha explained who Kyoko was to Kaede.
"So thats why Sesshoumaru was after ye?"
"Most likely," Inuyasha said. "Although I don't know how he found out."
Then Miroku got an Idea.
"Inuyasha, somebody wouldn't revive Kyoko just because. There would have to be a reason. We know Naraku didn't do it, because it was a woman who did it, and obviously not Sesshoumaru, so who else? Who wants you dead, and can revive people from the dead, is a woman, and would go and tell Sesshoumaru to get you so you would die?"
Kaede realized what Miroku was trying to say. "Could it be Kikyo?"
Inuyasha hadn't thought about that.
"But why would she do that?"
"Because Inuyasha, she knows that if Kyoko gets her memory back, she will kill you, and that the only way to get her memory back is to find Sesshoumaru. It all makes sense now." Miroku answered.
Now that Inuyasha thought of it, it did make sense.
"So, the only way to stop this is to kill Kikyo." Sango said.
Inuyasha grimaced.

The next chapter should be out really fast like this one. School ended so now I have alot of free time to do this. Isnt that cool? you wont have to as as long!
YAY!!! I STILL EXPECT REVIEWS THOUGH. NO REVIEWS= NO CHAPTERS! Thats the way it works. Im already typing the next chapter. This one only took a couple of hours.
