Loss and Gain

Chapter 4

Miroku felt a tearing at his heart and was to shocked he dropped his head and turned away, before anyone could ask him anything he began to run away. Sango removed the sutra and Inu Yasha stood up wondering what to do next, Kagome had gotten dressed and kneeled next to Inu Yasha as Sango and he finished dressing.

“Inu Yasha how could you rape her yet not rape her?” asked Kagome in a whisper so Sango could not hear.

“I think it has to do with me taking her and she didn’t fight back,” he whispered before pondering “so she must thinks she loves me because she willingly gave in to me.”

Kagome thought about it “that seems reasonable” she said “but how do we convince her other wise?”

They both pondered over their revelation and what to do to snap her out of it, “somehow we have to get her with Miroku I know she has feelings for him or did anyway” said Kagome as Inu Yasha only nodded and Sango walked over to them.

“Ready to go” she said cheerily now that there wasn’t a ‘man’ to worry about in their group, but yet she felt guilty at the look in Miroku’s eyes.

About a mile away Miroku stopped “No not now! Not yet I haven’t . . .” he began as his wind tunnel broke through the prayer beads “ . . . I haven’t had a son!”

“No, pleas no. . .” he said as he gripped his arm, the wind tunnel began sucking in everything as Miroku fought with it “NO!”

“AAGHHH!” he screamed trying to find the prayer beads, while the wind tunnel began to grow.

“SANGO!” was the last thing he screamed as his wind tunnel destroyed him.

Inu Yasha stopped walking and the group looked at him quizzically; he could have sworn that he had heard Miroku’s voice. He sighed and continued walking following Miroku’s scent, Sango stayed near Inu Yasha holding his sleeve while Kagome rode Kirara with Shippo.

“Inu Yasha?” asked Sango.

“Hmm?” he replied staring straight ahead.

“Can we make love again?” she asked and Inu Yasha stopped dead in his tracks.

Kagome saw him stop and asked Kirara to drop down and Shippo was trying to hear what was being said.

“Sango I’m not sure it’s a good idea until we get Miroku back or find a safe resting place” explained Inu Yasha.

Kagome hopped off Kirara as Sango kept speaking “Inu Yasha please” she begged “I’ll be good until we find shelter but can we please do it now?”

Inu Yasha gave Kagome a glance and she was fighting internally with herself ‘damn it I have to let Sango do it or she’ll get worse, and if we don’t let her and don’t find Miroku soon it will get worse. What should I do?’

“Inu Yasha . . .” Kagome began uneasily “ . . . just get it over with.”

“I’m sorry Kagome,” said Inu Yasha while Sango began pulling him towards a nearby clearing.

Kagome blinked away unshed tears and mentally chanted ‘it’s for the best, it’s for Sango . . .’ and sat down to play with Shippo.

Sango practically tore Inu Yasha’s clothes off “Inu Yasha am I still beautiful?” asked Sango as she began removing her clothing.

“Yes you are and always will be” whispered Inu Yasha huskily “I need you now . . .”

Sango was naked in front of Inu Yasha as his intense gaze warmed her body; she pulled Inu Yasha down to the ground and began kissing him.

Kagome had been playing with Shippo for a while before the two returned, Sango seemed happier than ever and Inu Yasha seemed normal. They decided to get back to looking for Miroku; Inu Yasha hugged Kagome and whispered he was sorry before they began their search.

As they neared a big crater Inu Yasha knew immediately what it was, he had seen one like it where Miroku’s father had been overtaken by his wind tunnel. When Kagome saw the look of recognition on Inu Yasha’s face she began to understand what the crater meant, Sango knew to and felt a slight tug at her heart but ignored it and looked elsewhere.

Kagome and Shippo shed tears for their lost friend while Inu Yasha bowed in respect and found a large rock to put in the center, he carved Miroku’s name on it before going over to Sango. When he got there he was expecting a show of tears or something of sorrow, but instead he received a happy smile “Oh Inu Yasha there is a village nearby that owes me a favor, so we can stay there” she said.

Inu was dumbfounded and stared at her shocked while Kagome and Shippo did the same after hearing her happy tone, Kirara was in her small form as she mewed at her master but Sango only smiled and began walking towards the village “come on if you want to make it before lunch” she chirped.

The rest of the gang was shocked but eventually followed not knowing what to say, as they neared the village Sango slowed down “Inu Yasha you need to go and ask a guy in the inn if you can stay” she said not wanting to speak to a man “tell him I said that we want to stay for free.”

Inu Yasha nodded and ran to the inn as the rest of the gang walked into the village, he saw the man at the inn and walked up to him “hey you” said Inu Yasha and the man looked at him “My group would like to stay the night, Sango said you’d let us stay for free.”

“Sango?” asked the man.

“Yeah” said Inu Yasha “she will be along shortly.”

“Sure, sure let me get your room ready” he said as he disappeared into the inn.

Sango arrived but clung herself to Inu Yasha and cringed when she received even the slightest glance from a man, Inu Yasha hugged her to his body as a girl came out and showed them to their room.

The group sat down as some more women arrived with food and greeted Sango and thanking her for the job she had done a year earlier, she returned the hellos and smiles but stayed close to Inu Yasha while Kagome was on the other side of him.

“Kagome is it all right that I am so close to Inu Yasha?” asked Sango nervously.

“Sure” said Kagome but didn’t expect Sango to jump into Inu Yasha’s lap, but that’s exactly what she did as she hugged him tightly and snuggled into him.

Kagome stared at Sango but she was already asleep and she then looked at Inu Yasha who looked shocked, he smiled at Kagome “can I kiss you?” he asked.

Shippo and Kirara were playingsideside so she agreed, Kagome felt weird leaning over Sango to kiss Inu Yasha but forgot about it as she kissed him. He deepened the kiss and Kagome was getting lost in the kiss, neither noticed when they began rubbing the other’s body witeir eir hands. Kagome finally noticed that Inu Yasha was stroking her breasts and pulled away blushing “I-inu Yasha” she whispered.

“I’m sorry Kagome I was to forward,” he murmured looking down.

“No it’s not that Inu Yasha, I don’t mind you touching me but . . .” she said then pointed at Sango “umm I feel weird with Sango there”

Inu Yasha looked down and blushed “oh” he said.

He stood up and laid Sango down on a futon and wrapped her in his haori so she could smell him still, she curup aup and smiled in her sleep as Inu Yasha walked over to Kagome and sat back down “Kagome I love you so much” he said as he cupped her cheek lightly.

“Inu Yasha I love you to” said Kagome placing her hand over his. nu Ynu Yasha smiled before kissing Kagome and she returned it with equal passion, they began to lie down as they made out and felt one another’s body. Kagome felt Inu Yasha’s clawed hand slip under her shirt and rest on her stomach, he rubbed he stomach before moving handhand along her sides and then up to cup her breast.

Kagome moaned as Inu Yasha teased her nipples into hard pink pebbles, she move her hands and opened his shirt to feel his chiseled chest and abs. They were both moaning and breathing hard then Inu Yasha began to kiss and nip at Kagome’s neck and ears making her moan and push her frame into his.

“Kagome I want you,” growled Inu Yasha as he licked the pulse on Kagome’s neck.

They both realized that it was barely past noon and Sango could awake at anytime, or Shippo could return with Kirara while they were in the throws of passion.

They pulled apart reluctantly but both knew that they would pick it up later; they fixed their clothes and sat against the wall while cuddling with each other. After half an hour, Shippo and Kirara returned which woke Sango, she yawned and moved over to Inu Yasha but kept his haori around her shoulders.

“What should we do now?” asked Sango.

“I’m sure that we could just hang out here until we leave tomorrow” said inu Yasha.

“Yeah why don’t we all drink to Miroku?” said Kagome.

Inu Yasha nodded his agreement and Sango did the same, Shippo agreed and for some odasonason so did Kirara. They had someone bring in some sake for them; Kagome had never drank alcohol before and was soon drunk off her ass. Somehow, Shippo had gotten himself drunk along with Kirara, and once everyone was drunk and acting like idiots they began to sing songs off key. They told stories that made no sense and danced with no music, after awhile they were spread all over passed out.

Shippo was under Inu Yasha but was still comfortable, Kagome and Sango were holding each other while they slept and Kirara was asleep in an empty sake dish.
