The well house

They stayed inside the
cave for two more days. Ayumi was amazed by how fast she was growing accustomed
with this way of life. She could live like this, no question about it. Inuyasha
was good at making up new forms of love making, not that she complained about
it, in fact she loved it. But they needed to talk to Kagome about this and today
was the day they were going to meet her and Kouga.

Are you ready mate? asked Inuyasha and laid an arm around
Ayumi’s waist.

As ready as I can be I guess, answered Ayumi.

Ok, let’s go then love.

He kissed her before he
slumped down to let her climb on his back. With a silent voice he concealed the
cave again.

You must show me how to do that someday, smiled Ayumi and put
her arms around him.

-         

I will love, said Inuyasha and took off in a dizzying speed.

It took him all afternoon
to reach the mountains where Kouga and his pack had their den. He could see the
wolf prince speeding towards them to greet them.

You mutt face, why are you here? he said with a smile, his
insult was of no edge.. It was more out of habit.

Wimpy wolf, I am here to talk to you and Kagome, is she here
with you?

Kouga took off to the
cave where he had set up a home for Kagome and him and their future cubs. He
found her in the middle of making dinner and he smiled warmly.

Kagome-chan, we have two visitors today, said Kouga and
kissed Kagome lightly on her mouth.

Ohh, who?

Hey Kagome, said Inuyasha and smiled towards his friend.

Inu-chan, what brings you here? she asked and returned the
smile.

Kagome-chan? a small but yet very familiar voice.

“No I could not have
heard… Ayumi-chan?”

Hello Kagome-chan, said Ayumi and moved from Inuyasha’s back
to stand in front of him

AYUMI!!

Kagome let go of
everything and rushed towards her friend and hugged her fiercely.

Ayumi-chan, what are you doing here? asked Kagome and looked
into her friends face.

We have something to tell you Kagome, said Inuyasha and laid
an arm around Ayumi’s waist.

Ohh??

Little over two weeks ago I went to visit you in your home,
but you were gone on vacation, instead I met this girl and I took her as my
mate.

Kagome’s jaw dropped to
the ground but later she smiled widely.

My gosh… That was the reason you where so eager to follow me
to school was it not Inu-chan? said Kagome.

-         

Yes, said Inuyasha and blushed.

-         

Then why did you not tell me? So you have a mate now? I am so
happy for you, smiled Kagome and hugged both Inuyasha and Ayumi.

I hope you are not disappointed Kagome-chan, said Ayumi.

-         

Why should I be? I mean – you two are perfect together.

-         

She is with pup too, said Inuyasha and did a good impression
of a tomato.

-         

Really?!! I am so glad.

Ayumi wanted to sink
through the ground but as she was hugged by her friend and she let all her fears
go. Kagome was not mad at her at all.

-         

Shit mutt face, you never waste any time do you? chuckled
Kouga and dunked his hand in Inuyasha’s back.

-         

So how many shards are there left? asked Inuyasha and tried
to hold his blush down.

-         

Except for those in my legs, only two or three, said Kouga.

Inuyasha bonked the wolf
on the head.

Inuyasha, be nice to my mate, laughed Kagome.

If he is nice to me… muttered Inuyasha.

Come, I will get you something to eat, said Kagome and
motioned Ayumi and Inuyasha to sit down next to the fire.

Thank you Kagome, said Inuyasha and pulled down Ayumi to sit
in his lap. He wanted her to be close to him.

So, when do you think she is due?

-         

Six month I gather, said Inuyasha.

-         

So soon?

Inuyasha nodded and began
feeding a blushing Ayumi.

-         

So what kind of names have you decided on? asked Kagome.

-         

N-nothing yet, said Ayumi, she was still confused about her
having the baby within six month.

-         

Kouga-kun, when are we going to have babies? asked Kagome and
looked pleading at her mate.

Ehhh???

Inuyasha chuckled and
looked at the slightly terrified wolf.

-         

Perhaps we shall leave you to alone? asked Ayumi and smiled.

-         

Perhaps we should… said Inuyasha and let Ayumi climb up on
his back again.

-         

Will you be there when I give birth to his puppy? asked Ayumi
and looked at Kagome.

-         

Of course Ayumi-chan, we will be there for you, said Kagome.

Good.

-         

Are you ready mate? asked Inuyasha and felt her nod against
his back.

-         

Ja ne! they both yelled and disappeared out of the cave.

“That went pretty
good.” Thought Ayumi as they
flew over the tree tops back to Inuyasha’s den.
