Cause and Affect

I'll be gone from my computer for a couple of days, so I won't update tell after christmas, but fear not, I have most of chapter six already done and I outlined the rest of the chapter so I wont forget how I wanted the story to go.

Ch. 4 Bad Kagome

Sesshomaru was walking toward where he felt the youki of the female inu. His eyebrow rouse when the inu’s youki increased largely. He stopped walking, and stood trying to decipher how much power this female had. It was quite unbelievable she might have even more power then father. The scent of wolf blood stopped his train of thoughts. Deciding he needed to witness her power first hand he took to the sky. It took him four minutes to reach her by air. When he touched ground just out side the forest he saw the huge black got blasting the landscape with huge amounts of green youki. She was growling about betray and never being able to see her family again, and something about a thing called school. He saw his brother cowering behind his sword like a pansy. Why didn’t he fight her, he knew is brother never back down from a fight unless it had to do with his wenches. He took a deep breath, the huge dog smelled just like the human girl in fact he realized as he took another breath it’s changing. Her smell was being mixed with that scent the was unique to canine demons. ‘So how is it possible? Is that truly the meddlesome Kagome, the baby miko that followed his idiot brother around like a puppy’ he thought to himself. Well the only way to get answers, was to ask the wench, and to do that he had to get her to stop throwing a fit. Sesshomaru’s eyes bleed red, he didn’t risk facing her in his human guise.

Inuyasha and Kagome turned when they felt Sesshomaru’s transformation. Inuyasha looked worried. Kagome just growled about how it wasn’t any of his concern and that he could take his arrogant ass back the way it came. Sesshomaru’s fur bristled, ‘How dare that lowly bitch bark that way at me’ he growled low. Trying to warn her, she didn’t pay him any head and continued to growl out insults at him. He rushed her using his head to nock her over. Inuyasha growled and rushed forward Tessiaga held up, “Don’t touch h..” he was cut off bye Kagome growling at him to mind is own damn business.

“You should learn to not take you eyes off your opponent woman” Sesshomaru snarled as he jumped and knocking Kagome on her back. He stood above her and growled in her face. She started to struggle, so Sesshomaru nipped at her muzzle. He started barking loudly. Needless to say Kagome was soon whimpering in pain, all the barking hurt her ears.

Sesshomaru snorted at her and backed off of her. Kagome rolled over and looked back at the devastation she caused in her anger. She hung her head in shame, she’d probable killed all the pups that were on the inside of the cave. She’d killed of lot of innocents, she was sure that it was only Kouga and the elders that plotted against her. She found herself wishing for a way to save the ones that were innocent. Kagome opened her mouth and started panting. To the inu brother’s surprise a light green smoke came out of her mouth. The smoke moved over to the ruins of the wolf clans cave as soon as the smoked touched the rocks the whole area glowed the bodies of the innocent dead pulled from the rubble. The smoke carried the bodies to the bank of the river. When the bodies touched the earth they seem to wake as if they were asleep instead of dead. She turned her shame filled eyes on Inuyasha. She whimpered a goodbye and jumping into the sky and running out of site.

Sesshomaru returned to his humanoid form and started to question Inuyasha, “Explain to me how your human wench changed”. Inuyasha looked at his brother with a scowl.

“Keh, why should I tell that to someone like you” He folded his arms and turned away from his brother.

“Inuyasha…” said Sesshomaru

“What” Inuyasha turned back around hand on the hilt of his sword

“You’re such a bitch” He stated as he took to the air in the same direction Kagome had.

“Sesshomaru teme (spelling) get back here so I can punch you” yelled the insulted Inuyasha from the ground. Running after his brother and Kagome, he left Sango, Miroku and Shippo staring stupidly after him. Kirara sighed she had better get one hell of a fish for all this back and forth flying they were making her do. Sango rubbed her fire cat behind her big ears, promising to get her a nice fish when they caught up with the others.

Kagome jumped down into the clearing of the well and laid down. Resting her head on her paws, she whined. She stared at the well longingly. Kagome didn’t move or give any sign that she cared, when Sesshomaru floated down in front of her. He sat on the edge of the well. Looking down the well, “You thirsty or something, there is plenty of water around, and besides this well is dry. Doesn’t you noise work” She detected trace amounts of amusement in his voice.

“Quit laughing at me asshole, and its none of your business about that well” she growled at him. She was not please when he smirked. “What so damn funny” she barked, getting really annoyed with him.

“You can talk with words you know” he laughed. She was surprised that she could hear real humor in his laugh. In fact now that she looked at him His face was lit with amusement. Then his words hit home, she could speak in words.

So she did, “Amazing, THE Sesshomaru’s face isn’t made of ice” Kagome’s voice was the same as before. It amazed her.

“You thought my face was made of ice. What could you possibly mean by that?” He asked, and shocked Kagome again when the words didn’t sound condescending. He sounded like he actually wanted to know.

Kagome countered with her own question, “Why are you being so…warm?”

“One must never show weakness. I have emotions just like everyone else, I just have better control then most” He answered honestly.

“Why do you hate your brother” she asked the question that always crossed her mind when she saw him. He didn’t answer fast enough so she asked another question, “Do you hate him because he’s a hanyou”.

Sesshomaru sighed, “You like to talked don’t you”.

“Hey!!” she huffed, sounding deeply offended.

“Fine I’ll tell you the truth, cause I’m sure if I don’t you won’t shut up” he sighed again.

“You know your and your brother are a lot alike, your arrogant, bossy, cold, and you both try to hide you good side” she finished off quietly.

“Do you want you questions answered or not” he frowned, he despised being interrupted. She just nodded her big head. “My father, asked me to watch out for him. He told me not to go easy on him, because our father knew that Inuyasha’s life was not going to be easy. He wanted him to live life strongly, to survive. So no I don’t hate my brother, it’s my job to teach him how to be strong” He looked in the direction of the village. So she followed his gaze, to see the entire village standing there shacking with weapons of all kinds in there small human hands.

She saw Sesshomaru stand strait, the ice cold mask back in place. “Kaede send the villagers away before the get hurt, by fluffy here” said Kagome. She laughed when Sesshomaru growled and obscenity at her.

“Kagome child, is that you” Asked Kaede, waving her hand to indicate that the villagers weren’t needed anymore.

“Yes, it’s me Kagome” Kagome sighed putting her head back on her paws. Sesshomaru sat back down on the edge of the well, he kept his eyes on the old human.

“What happened to thee, child” asked Kaede, she looked over Kagome’s huge body.

“Kouga was tricked into trying to kill me, but the spell backfired, and now I’m a just like fluffy here” She smirked loving the way he bristled when she called him that. “I was actually here to help me understand how it happened” She preceded to tell the whole tale to Kaede. She told from the point where Kouga had caught her and Inuyasha in such and intimate situation. She wished she wasn’t so huge so she could punch Sesshomaru laughed the beginning of the story.

“Keh, Its Inuyasha’s fault, He should have smelled the wolf well before he reached you two” He voiced his opinion.

“What’s my fault asshole?” he asked/yelled as he walked into the clearing.

“I’m saying that if you weren’t so weak you would have sensed the stupid wolf before he caught you to in the middle of mating” came Sesshomaru’s haughty reply.

“You try to concentrate when someone’s sucking your cock…asshole…I bet you’d like to suck on a cock or two wouldn’t you” He dug is own grave.

“INUYASHA” Kagome screamed.

“You bastard” Sesshomaru seethed, he pulled out Tokijin preparing to punish him for his mouth, but before he could even advance on him:

“Osuwari…you stupid jerk…Osuwari…HOW COULD YOU…OSUWARI…TALK ABOUT US LIKE THAT…INUYASHA NO BAKA…OSUWARI4” She hid her face under her paws, gods how she wish she was small enough to go through the well.

Kaede cleared her throat to get the attention of the young people with short attention spans. “I believe I have a theory on how this happened”

“Hold on just a moment Kaede, I can’t stand thnymonymore, Sesshomaru will you tell me how to make my self smaller, I mean I would be fine if I was at least as small as a normal dog” she asked.

“It’s all a matter of will. If you want a more human looking form just will you self to be that way.” He said as if she should already now it. She sighed realizing he was back to the ice prince act now. “Thank you very much, fluffy no nii-sama” She heard Inuyasha laugh from his place on the ground. Kagome closed her doggy eyes and concentrated on having a human form. Inuyasha finally got up from his punishment and looked Kagome’s way highly interested in seeing what she would look like when she was done.

Pale green smoke floated above the forest canopy. Kirara recognized it as Kagome youki, determined not to miss the action again she speed up and landed in the clearing. The smoke rouse in the sky revealing a female figure clad in nothing at all. Miroku made a noise, but soon he found himself unconscious on the ground. Sango watched in amazement as the females form became clearer. The woman was taller then Kagome had been. Her long midnight black hair was in an elaborate braid. Two thick braids were twisted in two large circles. The two circle braids were woven together to hold the circles together. At the bottom of the two circles braids where further woven together, binding the braids to her head the rest of her hair flowed down her back in waves. Her hair now reached below her knees.

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha were looking at her front. Both found her to be beautiful beyond words. Her facial shape remained the same. Her skin tone lightened to a color similar to alabaster. She had a pink and blue colored tear drop shape on her forehead. It was in the same place as Sesshomaru’s moon symbol. Her eye lid had a small strip of green. When she opened her eyes, Inuyasha was shocked to see her once blue gray eyes were now a ice blue. Her lips were natural dark pink, like she’d just spent the entire day kissing, he wanted to kiss her now. He wanted to kiss each green strip on her face. He wanted to lick the green marking that now coved her body.

Inuyasha spied his brother’s hungry gaze glued to Kagome’s ample cleavage and decided to remind all males present whose bitch she was. He walked up to Kagome took her fir from her hands and wrapped around her body. She looks at him with an unreadable expression. He puts his hands gently at the back of her neck and pulls her lips to his. He savored her changed tasked, it was like the demon in her heightened her flavor. Inuyasha’s hands touched her body over the black fir that now covered her.

“Disgraceful pup” said, Sesshomaru with disgust.

Inuyasha moved his mouth away from Kagome’s, but hi didn’t take his hands off her body. Nor did he move away from her. Turning to sneer at Sesshomaru, he opened his not so very polite mouth, “Keh, you just jealous that she’s my bitch and not yours…ya’ bastard”. Kagome sighed, dropping her head to rubber her temples. She pulled away from Inuyasha and walked over to Kaede. “Hey bitch were do you think your going” Inuyasha yelled at Kagome’s back, more then a little embarrassed that she walked away from him in front on his brother.

“Asshole…I didn’t come here just to smell flowers, Kaede and I have discussion to finish. If you’d like to hear then come back to the village” She didn’t even turn around to answer him. That had Inuyasha growling, and it put the tiniest of smiles on Sesshomaru’s ice mask. Of course no one saw the smile of course. “Kaede do you think you could lend me some of your robes until I can get some of my own” Kagome questioned.

“Ai child I do, but did you not once tell me you disliked the miko robes” Kaede answered back with her own question.

Kagome looked at her body and then at Inuyasha, “I don’t think I will remind Inuyasha of Kikyo now, s’s f’s fine until I get some of my own.”

“Come this way”, was Kaede’s finale statement before she turned and started walking down the path to the village.

Kagome fallowed Kaede, and Inuyasha followed Kagome. Sesshomaru was the next to walk in the direction of the village, as his answers had yet to be given to him. Sango holding her neko followed behind Sesshomaru, she kept a well trained eye on him. Best to not take chances, Miroku was walking behind Sango enjoying the view. Shippo was on his shoulders watching Sesshomaru, “Hey Sesshomaru why are you fallowing too” questioned the curious kitsune. Shippo did his best impression of Inuyasha, when Sesshomaru didn’t even so much as look back.

Shippo’s question reminded the hanyou of Fluffy’s presence, “Oi, answer the brats question, why are you still here. Kagome told you what she knew.” He said to his brother over his shoulder.

“She told me what she knew, and it doesn’t explain why it happened, and that is what I truly want to know, so quite you barking, I’ll be here for a while” He said.

“Keh…noisy bastard” he mumbled completely aware that his brother could hear him. They reached the village at Kaede’s slow human pace. Which of course was pissing Inuyasha off, he couldn’t stand to wait. Inuyasha moved closer to Kagome as the people started staring. “Are you ok” he asked loud enough for only her ears. She nodded her head and leaned against him.

The chef of the village approached Kaede, eyeing the two mortal looking demons wearily. “Kaede-sama, I must ask why you bring these demons into the village” asked the petrified old man, who only got more scared when Sesshomaru glared at him. Inuyasha was smirking; he could tell the man wanted to run away screaming his little pansy head off. Kagome looked from the man to Inuyasha. She frowned, elbowing Inuyasha in the stomach.

“What the hell was that for, I wasn’t the one that scared him, it was fluffy. He’s the one that glared at him” whined Inuyasha sounding like a four year old boy telling on his big brother. The fluffy comment got him a blow to the back of the head by said older brother. “Asshole” cried as he rubbed the aching bump on his head.

Kagome turned her glare to Sesshomaru. He kept his ice mask in place, “Why look at me so…the human looked like he wanted a reason to be scared”.

Kagome sighed, “Childish dogs”.

Kaede addressed the man's questions, “This demon here in the black fir is actually Kagome-sama, Shiro-san, and the other demon in white is Inuyasha’s older brother”. The man looked shocked. He looked from Kagome to Inuyasha and back again. His little brain seemed to register something, and then he glared at Inuyasha accusingly.

Kagome snaked a hant oft of the black fir and grabbed Inuyasha’s hand, “Good day, Shiro-san, I apologize but as you can see I need to get some proper clothes.” With that out of the way Kagome pulled Inuyasha the rest of the way to the hut. Kagome got herself dressed in the miko robes and then join the others around the fire bit for some food, and discussion.

“Ok, her is my theory. Kagome your own will to live may have caused this transformation. If you were a normal Miko then you would have died.” Kagome paused to let Kagome ask her question.

“I wasn’t a normal miko” she asked in a small voice.

“No, Kagome-sama I don’t believe that you were, your soul was the largest soul I’ve ever seen…You filled up Kanna’s mirror which is capable of holding hundred of human souls at once.” Miroku commented. Kagome looked thoughtful.

“Not to mention, you had you soul taken from you body be the demoness that revived my elder sister Kikyo, and you took it back from her when you where supposed to be nothing but a soulless body” Kaede reminded her.

“She did that more then once” came the somewhat guilty voice of Inuyasha. Kagome turned to him surprise clear in her eyes. “The seconded time Kikyo tried to kill me, Kagome forced the souls from her body.”

Kagome frowned, seeing Kikyo kissing Inuyasha in her mind. She unconsciously growled. She stopped though when she noticed everyone looking at her. Inuyasha cracked a smile, he like that she was being truthful about her fillings about him and Kikyo. It made him feel good that she was jealous.

“Your arrows, though they weren’t that impressive in the beginning, were the last time you shot one were very powerful, more so then Kikyo”, commented Sango.

“Its quite clear to my child that you soul has immense power, you were just untrained” says Kaede.

“If I have so much power, then why didn’t I just fight the spell off, how come I became a dog” asked Kagome.

“The Shikon no Tama was with you soul for far longer then you were alive child, you soul as seen life many times over. Before it became you soul, not to mention the fifteen years it was in you body. I believe that you soul absorbed the power of the Shikon no Tama. I think that the power of the Shikon jewel had boosted you miko powers before the spell was cast. However when you were fighting the spell, I think that the power of the jewel switched from aiding you miko and mixed with the youki that the wolf infected you with. In fact there is a possibility that the power of the Shikon inside you called forth the remaining power that was in the jewel fragments.” She stopped to let everyone digest her words.

Everyone but Sesshomaru looked shocked. “I have my answers.” He said and got up and left the hut.
