Where Did You Come From

Sonya dung in her bag and pulled out a cigerette. Sitting next to her was the school girl that had introduced herself as Kagome. "So, can you tell me where I am at and how to get back to the city?"

"First, can you tell me whats the last thing you remember before ending up here?"

"Sure, my class and I went to some shrishrine in Tokyo. There was some creepy old man there. I kind of snuck off from my class into a wellhouse. What can I say I'm a little on the nosey side. Anyway, I noticed a ladder and dicided to take a peek down the well. I jumped the last few steps and fell. Next thing I knew I woke up in the middle of nowhere." The camp was quiet. "So can you tell me where I am?"

"Sure," Kagome wwrung her hands together. "First, can I see whatever it is you have hanging around your neck?" She was handed a silver chain hanging from it was a dragon pendant. "Where did you get this?"

"Oh, its a family heirloom. I recieved it from my grandmother when she passed away." She reached for her pendant. "Its nothing really special." It was slipped back around her neck.

"I'm going to try to explain this as good as I can. There are still a few things I don't understand as of yet but we'll get to that later. Sonya, that well you came down was at my home. I live at that shrine. The old man you spoke of is my grandpa. You just like me have traveled back through time. You are in Fuedal Japan." Everyone waited for the information to sink in.

"Wait a minute! I think reality stepped out like five minutes ago. There is no way in hell I went through some kind of time portal or such crap." Sonya flicked her butt at the guy wearing a dress. "I think its time I left cause this isn't happening to me. I must be on a bad trip or something. Its not possible. How could I be sent back in time?"

"There is a piece of the jewel of four souls imbedded in your pendant." Kagome almost laughed at the sudden jaw dropping. "Let me explain a few things and maybe you will understand."

Two hours later Kagome finished up her story. She could tell Sonya was still doubtfull. "I believe you were able to come through because of the shard thats in your pendant."

The pendant was brought up for inspection. It was the size of a half dollar. The design was that of a dragon. "I dont see any jewel."

"It is very small, the smallest shard I've seen. But it is there, the eye to be exact." Kagome turned to the others. "Since she is still skeptical I guess we'll have to think of a way to convince her. I know remember what I told you of the demons. Well Shippo here is a demon. And Kirara. Sango have Kirara transform."

Sonya watched as the cat that had been in the other girls lap leap in to the air and change. It was huge. "Oh my." 'Maybe she was telling the truth. It would explain a lot. Like the shrine being gone, the forest, and these strange people.' "Ok, fine lets say I believe you how do I get back?"

"You could try going through the well again.
"
"Yeah, guess so. So can you show me the way back?" I need to get back. I cant be stuck here. "I'd appreciate it."

"We can take you back in the morning. Do you mind waiting?" Kagome waited for the girls answer.

"Sure, that would be sweet. I'll just get some rest. My feet are killing me." She removed her boots. "Is there anywhere around here where I could bathe. I stink like an outhouse."

"Follow me, I think I'll join you. Sango do you wanna join us?"

"No, I think I'll stay here and keep an eye on Miroku." Sango stated.


Kagome and Sonya made their way to a hot spring. It was only a few minutes from where theyd made camp. They walked in silence till they reached the waters edge.
"So Kagome tell me how it feels to travel back in forth through time? And what is this Inuyasha like. I know you said hes half demon half human. But from the way you speak of him sounds like you got a little freaky freaky going on."

Kagome blushed redder than her top. "Ummm, I'm not sure what you mean."

"Come on, girlfriend. I may be blonde but I'm not stupid. You got a thing for this Inuyasha guy. So whats he like? Will I get to meet him before we leave?"

"He should be back soon. Actually, he should of returned by now. I'm starting to get worried. He's never been gone this long."

"I knew it, you can't fool me. You got a thing for him. So have you kissed him yet? Come sou sounds juicy to me." she stripped off her clothes and waited for Kagome to do the same.

"Wow, thats a cooltoo.too."

Her tattoo consisted of a red dragon wrapped around the small of her back and in its right claw was a single black rose. "Thanks, I got it last year. I got that right before I got my piercings."

"Yeah noticed those. So did it hurt?"

"Not really," she climbed into the warm water. "This is nice. How do you think my grandmother got a pendant that contains a part of this sacred jewel thing?"

"I've been thinking about that. I believe somehow in this time after the jewel was broken. It made its way over to what is now the United Stated. Maybe its was carried off by a demon or just ended up there. It somehow ended up in the hands of your ancestors hands. Which they had embedded into that eye socket." Kagome waded into the water. The soap and shampoo was shared between the two girls. "It would explain how it was never found. I believe that land has yet to be discovered. And its too far for me to sense. But now that its back in this time. You are in danger. Naraku will need that small piece. Even as small as it is, the Shikon no Tama can't be completed without it."

"So you're telling me as long as I'm in this era I will be in danger from this Naraku character? I'll just hand the damn thing over. I'm not getting killed over a piece of a jewel thats worthless to me. Or better yet once I head back you can have it."

"Really, you'd hand the shard over?" Kagome hugged the girl. "Thank you, I was worried Inuyasha might try to fight you for them." She laughed at the image that came to mind. "I may be out of line but I think he'd be biting of more than he chew where you are concerned."

"Hehe.... So this Inuyasha is a dog demon right."

"Yeah half. His other half is human. He has a brother but he is all demon." shivers ran down her back at the thought of Sesshomaru. "He's nowhere as nice as Inuyasha though. He's totally rand and cold. Hopefully, you wont have the misfortune of meeting him."

"He sounds like a total goober." The shampoo was tossed back onto the bank. "So, is Miroku taken? What about this guy Kouga I heard you mention? Do you need some help getting him off your back?"

"Miroku is taken I'm afraid. But you are more than welcome to Kouga. You'd be doing me a favor where hes concerned. Inuyasha would be grateful as well."

Sonya sighed, 'To bad I'll be leaving in the morning. Running around Fuedal Japan sounds kinda fun. Maybe I could convince them to let me hang out for awhile."
