Inuyasha watched Sesshoumaru take Kagome off into the sky. They had to return sometime. He turned to return to the hut and saw Kagura laying beside him on the ground. Her kimono had dirt all over it and was torn slightly and her hair was sticking out of her bun slightly. "Uh Oh!!"

Kagura glared up at Inuyasha. "You baka. Do you not have a brain in your head. How could you forget we were tied together?" She wished that they were not in the village. She dusted off her kimono then looked up and glared at Inuyasha again.

Inuyasha was glad that Kagura didn't have the power to sit him. So he just ignored the glare and returned it.

Kagura saw him return her glare. How dare he. I didn't do anything it was him. She reached up and pulled a feather from her hair and smiled when his glare started to fade. Now he was worried. She jumped on the feather and took off pulling him with her but not on the feather. She so enjoyed watching him floating upside down under her feather. She floated till she found a lake and lowered the feather to the ground. When it shrank she put it back in her hair. Inuyasha was only slightly covered in leaves this time. Darn I will have to fly lower the next time.


"Why are we at the lake?" Inuyasha brushed more leaves out of his hair and glared at Kagura.

"Well since you made me fly through the dust at the village I need a bath and since I could smell you if I was two days away I am pretty sure you need one too." She walked to the edge of the lake and knelt down and ran her fingers through the water. Very nice. She undid her obi and with a shrug of her shoulders her kimono fell to the ground. She looked up at Inuyasha and saw him staring at her with a flushed face. "Surely you know how to bathe."

"Of course I know how to bathe. I just don't want too. And not with you." Inuyasha turned his back on her. There is absolutely no way I am going to bathe with her.

Kagura smirked at him when he turned his back on her. We will see. She raised her fan and mumbled a few words and watched as a small tornado picked Inuyasha up and dropped him in the lake. At least his clothes will get washed also. She laughed when he rose from the water. His hair was all over his face with sheets of water still pouring from it. "Now isn't that better?" She walked in the water and up to Inuyasha. She removed the hair from his face before he had a chance to. "You would feel better if you took off those clothes."

"You may have gotten me into the lake but you are not getting me out of my clothes." He felt the water move around him and knew Kagura was close. He felt her remove the hair from his face and when he could see his eyes were faced with the sight of her bare breast. He quickly turned around and started mumbling about women under his breath.

Kagura could make out a little of his mumbling and laughed when he turned around. Oh he is shy. "What's the matter Inuyasha can't handle the sight of a naked woman? Or is it that I am not dead enough for you? Can't help you out with that one I'm afraid. I enjoy being alive too much now that I have almost all my freedom."

He turned back around to confront the witch in front of him. How dare she make fun of Kikyou. Big mistake. She had found a rock to sit on was washing her legs. Where did she get the soap from. "Where did you get the soap from?"

"I don't know? I turned around and it was on the bank so I grabbed it." She ran the rag down her legs and over her hips. She was waiting for Inuyasha to turn around again and was shocked when he just kept staring.

Oh man why couldn't I have been tied to somebody who didn't have such a nice body. He had never expected Kagura to have a body like that. Not that he ever thought of her that way. He watched her release her hair from her bun and watched as it dropped on to her shoulders and into the water. Her hair was pretty.
He watched Kagura stand and walk over too him. He forgot how to breath. He felt her hands on his haori and before he knew it she had removed it. She ran the rag down his chest then stepped up to close to him and reached her arms around him and washed his back. He pulled her up against him and lowered his mouth to hers.

Kikyou stood at the edge of the forest and watched the hanyou and the wind witch. How dare that bitch try to seduce Inuyasha. Naraku will hear about this. She called her soul stealers and they lifted her into the air.

Inuyasha lifted his head and saw the soul stealers taking Kikyou away. He pulled back from Kikyou. "We have to return to camp."

"Why?" Kagura stepped back up to Inuyasha and leaned up to kiss him this time. She ran her tongue around his lips till he opened his mouth. She felt his tongue meet hers. She walked backwards and when they reached the edge of the lake she pulled Inuyasha to the ground with her.

Naraku paced around his castle. What was going on. First he lost Kagura and Kohaku then Kanna. Without Kanna he couldn't spy on the whelp Inuyasha. Kagura he could do with out but he needed Kanna. Kohaku was handy when he had to face the shard collectors. The taijiya would waste time trying to save her brother which left him free to take on the others. At least he still had the Saimyoushou to keep the monk from using his wind tunnel. He was drawn out of his thoughts by a presence entering his barrier. He walked outside to see who was approaching. He watched Kikyou float up to him. So the dead miko returns. "What do you want Kikyou?"

Kikyou waited until the soul stealers had lowered her to the ground before she approached the hanyou. "Naraku, your wind witch is trying to take what is mine. Stop her now."

So Kagura is trying to get her claws into Inuyasha. "You have not been here in a while Kikyou. There have been some unforeseen occurrences. Kagura is no longer under my control. Neither is Kanna. In fact your reincarnate has managed to get three of my followers away from my control. How she has managed this I do not know. She has become quite strong." He looked down on the dead miko and smiled at her. If she would join me in battle it might be enough to insure Inuyasha's defeat.

"My reincarnate is just a copy of me and will never reach my level of abilities. She is nothing more than a weak imitation. I will help you in your battle to take care of her and the wind sorceress. They will not help Inuyasha escape from his promise to me." She walked past Naraku and into the castle. "So when are you going to attack?"

"At dawn." Then I will have my followers returned to me and then nothing will stop me. He followed the dead miko into his castle. Time to plan.

Inuyasha nuzzled Kagura's neck. How did he come to this. Now the wind sorceress was his mate. That was the last thing he would have thought would happen. At least he has a strong mate. She was more than capable of protecting herself. He leaned down and kissed her again. "We must return to the village."

Kagura sat up and smiled at her mate. What a twist of fate. Going from enemies to mates. She arose and walked back into the lake. She washed off again then turned to look at Inuyasha. "You might want to wash off again." She was shocked that he actually listened to her and was further shocked when he took the rag from her and started to wash her. "If you keep doing that it may be awhile before we reach the village."

"I don't think they will miss us too much. What's a few more minutes?"

Kagome stood up and looked at the land around her. Something was wrong. She used her miko senses and scoured the area around her and Sesshoumaru. "Sesshoumaru I sense a large jewel shard. It is about a day away. It is Naraku. He is coming for us." She turned frightened eyes on her mate. "We have to get the others." She and Sesshoumaru grabbed their clothes and hurriedly got dressed. Then she went into his arms and let him fly her back to the camp. They flew over another lake and saw Inuyasha and Kagura. "I hate to break them up but we have to tell them Sesshoumaru."

Sesshoumaru couldn't believe his eyes. His brother was kissing the wind sorceress and by the look of things that wasn't all they did. He floated to the edge of the lake and set Kagome down. He then turned around to offer his brother and from the smell of things his new mate some privacy. "Brother I hate to interrupt you something has came up."

Inuyasha quickly turned around and Kagura ducked under the water. He found his brother and Kagome on the shore. Both of them had their backs to him and Kagura. "What was so important that it couldn't wait?"

Kagome put a hand to her mouth to hold her laughter in. It didn't work to well. She was so happy that he had found a mate that was alive. She had grown tired of always finding him and the dead miko in embarrassing situations. That had always grossed her out. She could live with his new mate. Kagura wasn't too bad once you got to know her. "Naraku is on his way to the village. He will be there by morning."

Sesshoumaru looked over to his mate and saw the laughter on her face. Then he heard the laughs she couldn't control and felt her body shaking from the force of trying to keep the laughter in. "We will meet you back at the village Inuyasha." He took Kagome back into his arms and flew into the air. When they were away from Inuyasha he leaned down and nuzzled Kagome's hair. "Now what was so funny?"

Kagome started laughing harder at his question. "I was just relieved that he was making love to someone living is all. After seeing him and Kikyou together so often I was beginning to wonder if he would ever find someone alive. I was worried about him. Now I no longer have to worry about him so I am relieved."

"I guess you are right. I never could understand how he could make love to a walking corpse anyway. The stench should have been enough to drive him away." Sesshoumaru saw the village come into sight and started flying lower to the ground.

"At least I got the better of the two brothers as my mate. I had always found you attractive but after catching Inuyasha with Kikyou I knew that we were not meant to be. And if I hadn't caught him we might not be together. So at least one good thing came from it." She turned around and drew his head down to her and kissed him.

Sesshoumaru managed to land then drew Kagome closer to him and returned her kiss. He could smell the others approaching and reluctantly broke the kiss. Then he turned and faced the approaching group. "We have to talk."

Kagome saw the children with the adults. She didn't want to discuss this while they were there. "I will put the children to bed while we wait for Inuyasha and Kagura to join us. Would you like to help Sango?"

Sango nodded her head yes. She helped Kagome gather up all the kids. It wasn't as easy any more. Rin had gotten faster since becoming a demon and between her Shippou and Kanna camp life was no longer boring. Kagome managed to grab Rin and Shippou and Kohaku helped her get Kanna. They walked to the hut beside Kaede's Miroku had put scrolls on it to protect the children and Kohaku kept watch over them during the night. They got all the kids in bed and asleep. "Kohaku watch over them and protect them." She waited till he nodded yes then turned and left with Kagome. "Maybe we could get Kaede to make the little rascals collars. It would make it easier to catch them. I don't know how you can run like that being pregnant and all. Everything makes me tired now that I am pregnant."

"You are not the only one. I can feel the pups kicking more everyday. According to Kaede they will be born anytime. That is one of the perks of being a demon. I am so glad that I don't have to go through this for a whole nine months. If I had to eat like this for nine months I wouldn't be able to fit into our castle." Kagome took Sango's arm in hers and they walked to Kaede's hut to join the rest of the group. They walked into the hut to find the men discussing the up coming battle.

Sesshoumaru looked up as they entered the hut. He felt calmer every time Kagome came anywhere near him. "Naraku is coming to attack. He will be here by morning. We must keep him away from the village. And we are now down three fighters. Kagome, Sango and Kagura can not fight."

Kagura felt everyone's eyes on her. "You just had to tell him. I will not be left out of this battle. I want to help destroy Naraku and you need me."

Kagome turned and groaned. Just what she needed. Before she could say anything a tornado burst through the door and stopped in front of her. Kouga. She was shocked when the dust settled and she saw Ayame with him. She could smell Kouga all over her. "Congratulations Ayame." She hugged the wolf demoness then Kouga. "It's about time you came to your senses."

"Well after you turned me down I had to choose someone." Kouga fell to the floor of the hut when Ayame hit him over the head.

Ayame watched her mate hit the floor. He would never learn to hold his tongue. "We saw Naraku's army headed this way so we came to warn you and offer our help with the battle."

"Like we need your help." Inuyasha turned away from the wolf demoness.

Kagome couldn't believe him how stupid could he be. "Inuyasha sit boy."
She watched him fall to the floor of the hut. Then she realized that Kagura and Inuyasha were no longer connected. "How did you get free from him Kagura?"

"I don't know. After we mated the tie just disappeared." She looked at her mate on the floor. He was cute but a little dense at times. She heard the crash behind her and turned to see the monk flying through the wall of the hut and the taijiya smiling.

Sango felt Miroku's hand and even if they were getting married didn't mean that he could touch her butt anytime he wanted too. "Sesshoumaru I would like to thank you for the beads that you gave Miroku. You have saved my hand much pain and not to mention the wear and tear on my boomerang."

Sesshoumaru saw the large hole in the side of the hut. "Lady Kaede I am sorry that his beads have done so much damage to your hut."

"It is all right Lord Sesshoumaru. The villagers enjoy fixing my hut in exchange for my services. It all equals out." Lady Kaede was just glad that her hut was so big. Kagome's group has grown quite large. "What is your plan my lord for the up coming battle."

Sesshoumaru watched the monk enter the hut and the wolf waking up from the floor. "Now that everyone is back with us. Kagome, Sango and Kagura will stay at the village to guard it and the children. Are you going to help us Lady Kaede?"
He waited for her to answer then returned to the group. "With the wolves and Lady Kaede we might stand the chance. Lord Kouga is your whole tribe here?"

Kouga felt all the eyes in the hut turn to him. "What so I am the heir to the Northern lands." He saw every ones mouth drop open at his statement. Well almost every ones. Sesshoumaru and Ayame's didn't they had known all along. "My pack is in calling distance. They could be here shortly."

"Go call them and have them camp in the field above the village. But you had better warn them not to harm any of the villagers." Sesshoumaru waited for the wolf to go outside and heard his howl echo into the night. Then waited for him to come in.

"My wolves haven't harmed any humans in years. Not since I met Kagome. They will be here shortly." Kouga turned to sit down when he spotted Kagura. "What is she doing here?" He turned and

"Kagura managed to get free from Naraku's control. She is now part of our group and Inuyasha's mate. I know that you have had your differences with her but you will not harm her." Sesshoumaru looked over at the wolf to make sure he was listening to him. He didn't look to happy but the wolf sat back down.

"I won't do anything to her at the moment but I will get my revenge after we deal with Naraku." He crossed his arms and turned his back on Kagura.

They set up for a few more hours planning their attack. Kagome was leaning against Sesshoumaru when she suddenly sat up. Sharp pains in her stomach caused her to gasp for breath. "Sesshoumaru I need some fresh air." She stood up and suddenly felt a gush of water go down her legs. She felt another pain in her stomach and almost fell to the floor. She felt Sesshoumaru's arms go around her and lifted her up into his arms. "Sesshoumaru it's too early."

"None the less it seems they are on their way." He turned to the group. "Lady Kaede will you come with us?"

"I will follow ye to the clearing by the well Lord Sesshoumaru. I have everything ready for her there. I just have to grab a few herbs." She went into the next room and picked up her basket of herbs and reentered the adjoining room. "Sango, Kagura, Ayame I will need your help." She left the hut and started for the clearing.
