Cursed Love

Ren looked from the Emperor who just stood thre and back at his mother who just looked down at him. "Why should I do something like that mother?"
"Because he's the one that helped destroy our village."
"That was over three hundred years ago mother he has nothing to do with it."
"No but his ancestora did and so he should pay."

"Hey wake up!"
Ren blinked at the voice in his head the image of his mother disappeared and the demon appeared. "You again!"
The demon frowned as his magic somehow wore off. "I see I'll just have to kill the both of you." The demon said with a sneer. Guards came rushing into the throne room with there weapons aimed at the demons.
"Hold it right there!" The captain of the guards said.
The demon turned and looked the man down "stand back you fools! I see I'll just have to finish this later." He said with a cackle of a laugh as he disappeared.
Ren had watched the demon disappear leaving him here. He slowly got up off the floor attempting to hold up the blanket that covered his nudity as he looked around the room.
The Emperor strided over to Ren and looked him over carefully knowing of course how dangerous a Widow Demon can be. "Sir what do you want us to do with this demon?" one of the guards asked as they held there positons.
The Emperor grabbed Ren's face and looked into his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked.
"My name is Ren, and I'd appreciate it if you'd stop touching me. Who do you think you are the Emperor?!"
"Watch your mouth demon you're in the presence of the Emperor himself." a guard said.
"Uh...."was the only thing Ren could say as he bent his head down not looking at him.
"Ren where did you come from?" The Emperor asked calmly.
"Far to the west of here your grace."
"Hmm these markings on your shoulder, you're mated? But doesn't black widows eat there mates?"
"um...that's correct."
"Are you really Takeshi's son?"
"I don't likely know your excellency I never knew my father and my mother never liked to talk about him. So I don't know."
"I see."
"Sir should we dispose of this demon?"
"No that wont be necessary he hasn't done anything wrong yet. But...take him to the Northwest tower so he can rest and get his barings straight."
The guards nodded as they escorted Ren out of the thrown room and out to the Northwest Tower. Ren didn't say anything as he was lead up a flight of stairs the captain opened the door and let him inside.
"You will stay here until the Emperor says otherwise, you know you should be lucky most demons are either killed on sight or placed down in the dungeon."
As Ren walked inside he felt someone pull on the blanket that covered him removing it completely. The door shut and he could hear the sound of a key locking him inside.
Ren looked around the nicely furnished bedroom. He felt the sheets of the Queen size bed they were made of red silk, on a chair next to a desk made of polished marble was red silken kimomos. He got up from the bed and slipped them on, he then looked in the mirror of his reflection and didn't like what he saw. He ponderd who it was who told him to wake up from the illusion.
He laid down on the bed and attempted to rest as the Emperor suggested.

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru stopped at the entrance to a large city. Sesshomaru didn't ponder or worry about the situation as he walked in. "This is the royal city." Miroku said.
"Where the Emperor lives right?" Sango asked.
"Yes, and the Emperor isn't too fond of demons of any sort in his city."
"That doesn't seem to be stopping either of them." Sango said.
As they walked through the city they got strange and worried looks from the people. "Um... are you sure this is the right way Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha askd.
"Feel your mark can't you feel Ren's axiety? Not too mention it shouldn't be too much longer before he goes through the birthing process."
"You mean he's going to go through the labor thing soon?"
"Yes... Not to mention that he's a first time mother an he's alone doesn't help much."
They moved through the city with ease that is until guards from the castle arrived. "You demon filth get out!"
Sesshomaru ignored the command as he walked pass the guards with ease. Inuyasha followed right behind him, the guard look at the two humans that were traveling with these demons.
"You...you're a demon slayer what are you doing traveling with demons?"
"I happen to be on friendly terms with these two demons." Sango said.

"Halt that's as far as you go!" A guard at the gate to the castle said.
"Stand aside I have business in there." Sesshomaru said.
"What business does a demon have inside the Emperor's palace?"
"Some type of assasination no doubt? how dumb do you think we are?"


Ren tossed and turned on the bed his body ached. But this time in a different way his abdomen hurt the pain was excrusiating. He let out a low cry of pain. "What's wrong with me now?" He said as he grabbed his abdomen and began to cry in even more pain.
