Chapter Fourty

Kagome and Keiko were finishing up the dishes while Kurama picked up some trash out of the living room. Yusuke had went down to his car several minutes ago and had yet to return. Sango had just went in the bedroom to change the baby and feed him. Everyone else had left, leaving the apartment a disaster. The three had offered to stay and help clean up. Kagome planned on staying the night to help out if she could.

Yusuke came back inside closing the door behind him. He looked over at Kurama, "If you and Kagome are going to stay the night there's some spare blankets in the linen closet. Just don't make too much noise." He turned when Kagome started cursing at him.

"What the hell did you just say?"

He didn't answer, he just walked down the hall leaving the red faced girl to deal with her embarrassment. He heard Sango humming in the bedroom. Without knocking he opened the door, she was sitting on the edge of the bed feeding the baby. He could see most of the breast that his son was sucking on.

Sango's head snapped up, a sigh escaped her seeing it was Yusuke. "Shut the door please."

"Right sorry." He closed it and walked over. She had her head bent once more watching the baby. He squatted in front of the girl and watched his son. Kohaku had one small hand up holding on while he ate. "Now, I'm jealous."

"Huh?"

"Look at him. Makes me wonder what makes him so greedy." He brought a hand up to pull her shirt open, exposing the other breast. "Nice," he leaned forward and ran his tongue over the nipple causing it to harden.

"Yusuke?" Sango felt a burning sensation spring to life as his tongue ran over her. He didn't answer, he slid one hand up to land on her thigh while the other wrapped around her back. A knock sounded at the door, Yusuke cursed. "Hold on." He covered her up and went to open the door enough to see out. Keiko was standing there with a big smile on her face.

"I just wanted to say goodnight. I'll see you two later." Keiko heard Sango from inside the room telling her bye. She smiled at Yusuke, he looked so funny trying to appear angry.

Sango looked back down to see that Kohaku had fallen asleep. She put him over her shoulder to pat his back. Yusuke turned to see her standing up. He opened the door for her and followed her out.

After putting the baby in his crib, Sango went to go say goodnight to Kagome. She walked out to find Kurama making the pull-out couch bed and Kagome had a huge blush on her face. She jumped when Sango touched her.

"Sango, I didn't know you were back out."

"So, I noticed." She turned to see the fox smiling. So they were both staying the night. That could prove to be interesting. She had a feeling her sister would soon become a woman. She leaned forward, "Don't worry it only hurts for a few minutes."

Kagome felt her jaw hit the floor. How the hell did Sango know what she'd been thinking about? "Yeah thanks, glad to hear it."


Sango heard Yusuke in the bathroom getting ready for bed and decided to head there herself. She'd be back up in a few hours for another feeding. She wore a cotton night gown that Kagome had bought her. It was pink and went mid-thigh, the words 'Bad Girl' was printed on the front. Since Kagome and Kurama were on the bed out there, Yusuke would be sharing the bed with her. She decided to remove the gown and got under the covers with only panties on. She closed her eyes, hugging the pillow waiting for Yusuke to join her. Her eyes started closing as she waited.

She woke up two hours later, her eyes opened slowly. 'Did I fall asleep?' She rolled over to find Yusuke in the bed with her but on the other side. He seemed to be asleep already. 'Dammit I fell asleep waiting on him.' She heard laughter coming from the living room. The room was almost completely dark. She could hardly see her hand in front of her face. She felt her way over until she was at his side. He moaned in his sleep when she touched him. "Sango." He whispered her name but didn't wake up. A smile touched her face knowing he was dreaming of her.

She layed against his chest, listening to his heartbeat. The steady beat calmed her, she brought her hand up to place it over the organ. His skin was hot under her palm. "I told you to leave because I was scared of hurting you. It had nothing to do with not wanting you. I wanted you so much, I was losing control and I didn't want to be rough with you." He brushed her hair out her face. "I love you, I want to be with you, don't ever doubt that."

A loud cry filled the room, out of the monitor placed on the dresser. "I'll go get him." Yusuke got up and walked out the room.
