Party
AN:Sorry havent had chance to update that much. I got stuck babysitting for both my sisters. So I got a total of three kids that aren't mine. Doesn't leave much time for myself. All are five and under. Plus, I have one of my own. I won't mention the fact I'd swear my sister had an affair with Naraku when she concieved her two year old.
Chapter Thirty-Nine
Sango was sitting in the car, looking down on the sleeping face of Kohaku. He was in what Kagome called a baby-seat. Mrs. Higurashi picked her and Kagome up from the hospital a few minutes ago. It's been over a month since the accident. Kagome was released from the hospital over a week ago. She was completely healed and Kohaku weighed over six pounds. The doctor's had given him a clean bill of health so he could go home. Sango had been released a week after his birth but stayed at the hospital. In between the waiting room and the nursery. She refused to leave until her child could come home with her. Yusuke was there every day after work and on his days off.
They'd yet spoken of their relationship or what had happened that day. In truth Sango didn't want to think about it, it was just too painful. Yusuke had asked for her to move in with him and she had agreed. Even if he didn't want a intimate relationship with her, she wanted him to be part of Kohaku's life. It was obvious to Sango that Yusuke loved his son. Plus, she wanted him in her life. If thats what she was offered then she'd take it.
They pulled up to the apartment and got out. Sango pushed the buttons to release the seat and brought the carrier containing the boy. He was sleeping peacefully, not a care in the world. Kagome chatted non-stop up the stairs, she seemed happy these days. Sango knew Kurama had told the girl that he loved her but had yet to ask about a permanent relationship.
The door opened and they were rushed by people. Almost all the people from the wedding were there, all to see the son of the great detective. Sango snorted when someone told Yusuke, "Good Job." Like he had done any of the work. Okay it took him to impregnate her. It had been her to carry him and give birth. Of course it was a male to say something that stupid.
Shizuru heard the comment and had to retort, "Yusuke didn't do anything but forget to wear a rubber. Sango did all the hard work. You should be patting her on the back not the sperm donor."
"I can't be thinking it's that hard." Jin stated. He didn't realize he'd just stuck his foot in his mouth.
Shizuru turned and slammed her fist into his gut. "What was that for? Hurt it did." Then she punched him again and again. Being a gentleman he didn't hit the females.
"Now, try doing that for a few hours but as each hour passes the pain intensifies." Shizuru felt like hitting him again.
"I be seeing your point." He sat down, far out of the girl's reach.
Sango smiled. She didn't think punches compared but she didn't think the wind demon would sit there while she grabbed a red hot poker and constantly rammed it into his abdomen. She put the carrier down to take the baby out. Yusuke came up behind her placing a hand on her back. Her skin heated under his touch. She let him take their son out and he held him for several minutes before Genkai spoke.
"Let me hold him, dimwit."
"Here ya old hag, just don't drop him. We all know how feeble you old people are."
"Hmph." She took the baby from the boy. He looked almost like Yusuke except for the eyes. Which were said to look like her deceased brother's. "Let's hope he ends up looking more like the mother as he grows up."
"Screw you, Genkai." Yusuke pouted.
Kuwabara came up to stand over the small woman's shoulder. He bent over and started making faces at him. A piercing cry split the air. Several people smacked him in the head.
"Dammit Kuwabara, you're enough to make anyone cry, don't make faces at him." Yusuke picked him out of his teacher's arms and tried to soothe him. "Idiot."
Sango walked into the kitchen getting her a glass of water. Her throat was parched and she was hungry. All the people in the small apartment was making it stuffy. Kagome and Keiko had prepared food for everyone. Though they all seemed more interested in the baby. She looked over to see Shizuru holding him as she grabbed a piece of sliced apple off a tray.
"Don't hold him Sis its contagious but then again I guess you'd need a man." Kuwabara laughed at his sister's expense knowing she couldn't retaliate with the newborn in her arms. He groaned when he felt someone smacked him in the back of his head. He turned and growled, "What the hell did you do that for shrimp?"
"Hn. At least if she were to have one, it wouldn't be ugly."
"What you trying to say? Oh I get it, you think my sister is pretty." Kuwabara pointed at the small man. "Keep your hands off."
The girl blushed at the comment. Hiei didn't respond, the idiot wasn't worth talking to.
Sango almost laughed at that one. If the ugly boy knew how close to the truth he'd hit. Should have been obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells. Hiei tended to stand close to the girl whenever they were together and looked at her when he thought no one would notice. The taijiya looked down at her feet feeling suddenly tired. She'd been up since before dawn. Her son seemed to always be hungry. She didn't see how she could produce enough milk to nurish him. Good thing she'd been gifted with two breasts. Two feet came into her view, she eyed Chu who was staring at her. "What?"
He placed a hand on the side of her leaning on the counter. He was only a few inches from her face when he spoke. "Now, shiela if Yurameshi doesn't wise up and make an honest woman out of you. I'll be more than happy to do you." A hiccup followed, he was drunk!
Sango didn't know what to say, maybe tell him his breath was foul. "Excuse me."
"What I'm trying to say is, if Yurameshit (no that wasn't a typo) doesn't be a man and satisfy you. Old Chu has something for you. I'll be glad to let you have a feel-see." He belched loudly.
Sango felt the fruit wanting to come back and say hello. To be rude or not to be rude, thats the question. "No, thanks I'd rather be lonely."
"No, there's no need for that love." He kept on unaware that everyone had stopped to watch. Not to mention a very pissed off detective. "Once I give you what I have, you'll never be wanting lonely again." He reached out to grab her breast.
Before Yusuke could step forward, Sango grabbed the platter off the counter bringing it over his head. Food fell to the floor along with the drunk. She placed the metal platter down and tried to step over him. A hand caught her wrist. "Get off me."
Chu was back on his feet, "I like em' fiesty. You need a real man, like me. Come feel what I got for ya love."
"Get your damn hands off her." Yusuke was standing in front of him now. He knew the man was drunk but he'd hurt him if he had to.
"Calm down lad, I was just letting the girl know she had options if you don't satisfy her needs." A fist connected with his jaw knocking the drunk back against the wall.
"You're a friend Chu but don't touch whats mine." was all he said. Sango felt her heart jump at his words. Rinku and Jin helped the drunk sit up in the corner to sleep it off.
