Cursed Love

The group walked through the forest to a small clearing. Kagome stopped and scanned the area closely, "I sense a jewel shard." She said. The group stopped when she said that Inuyasha scanned the area he could smell the demon coming this way.
Ren could smell the demon as well it would be coming through the underbrush any minute now. "A lizard demon." Inuyasha said calmly.
Ren knew about lizard demons very territorial to say the least. Ren never felt so scared his stupid female body was taking over with anxiety about being surronded by the lounge of lizards. Ren watched as the demon lizard came out from the underbrush a large ax in his hand his eyes glowing red as his tonuge hung out of his mouth.
The demon gave a low growl at Ren. Ren looked around for something in his/her possession to use as a weapon since brute strength wasn''t going to work at this time.
"Where is the jewel shard located?" Inuyasha asked Kagome.
"In his chest." Kagome said.
"Miroku take Ren someplace safe." Inuyasha said.
"Can do!"Miroku said thrilled at the idea as he backed her away from where the fighting would be taken place. Ren really hoped Inuyasha hadn't suggested Miroku of all people to escort him away from all this. "What am I some damsel in distress? I can fight too as long as I have a weapon of some sort."
The demon held his position as he waited for Inuyasha to charge with his weapon. The demon swung his ax in an arc sending a large gust of wind flying in the direction of Inuyasha.
Sango gripped her weapon aiming her weapon at just the right angle to split the demon right down the middle. Ren watched from a distance as Sango's weapon sliced through the demon like butter. Kagome went over to the remains of the demon lizard and picked the jewel shard from its remains.
Ren came back towards the group with Miroku after it was all over with. More demon lizards came out of no where one grabbed Ren tightly around the wrist its long lizard tongue going in and out of its mouth smelling her. A grin if it could be called one was shown on the lizard man's face showing his sharp white teeth. Ren reached down and grabbed for her dagger with her other hand to slice at the lizard man's arm.
The demon just knocked it out of her hand as if it was nothing. Miroku undid the beads in his hand "Wind Tunnel!" The lizard men came flying towards Miroku and being sucked into his hand. Ren came flying towards him as well and all of a sudden the wind stopped and she laid on top of Miroku.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
Ren looked up at Miroku not sure what just happened or where all those lizard men went. But he was sure he should say something. "Oh my hero!"
Miroku only smiled at the comment. Ren paused at what he just said when a shock came over him that he said that out loud. He couldn't believe he just said that.
"Hey are you two alright?" Inuyasha coming towards them.
"Yeah we seem to be fine." Miroku said as he watched Ren get up slowly not saying anything.
"Its getting late we should call it a day?" Kagome said.
"Yea." Shippo said
Some where in the distance from where the lizard demons attacked them Kagura watched them carefully. It was Naraku's idea to give a shard to the lizard men to see how things would pan out between them and Inuyasha. Obviously not to well. Kagura spotted the Black widow demon among them.
"Hmm so Inuyasha is traveling with a black widow demon now. Naraku will want to know about this. " Kagura said to herself as she took off.
Inuyasha and Miroku built a fire for the evening. Sango really wanted to talk to Ren about herself to get to know her in some way or another. She wasn't getting anything out of Hiroshi the cat demon.
Sango watched her carefully as she went down to a small pool of water that turned out to be a hot spring. Sango's eyes met Kagome's who had the same thought the best way to get to know her would be to join her in the spring where the three of them could talk in private.
Ren slowly disrobed her/his kimono and walked into the spring. As he began to relax as what he said to Miroku earlier came back to him "my hero." he shook the thought out of his head. That was something he didn't need, getting involved in anyone. Especially a human, besides he could sense a type of relationship between him and the one warrior woman Sango. Inuyasha seemed to be in a relationship with that girl in the odd clothes. He let out a sigh as he sank farther into the spring water.
He heard Sango and Kagome coming in and sat quietly in the spring across from him. "Ren do you mind if I ask you a question?" Kagome asked.
"What?" Ren asked not really in the mood to talk.
"Could you tell us a little about yourself?"
"What do you want to know?"
"Well where did you come from?" Kagome asked.
"I've come a long way."
That wasn't the answer Kagome was looking for. "its not like Inuyasha to take in new commers what kind of deal did you make with him?" Sango asked not trying to sound rude.
"I uh need help as it were."
"Why come with us why not stay in the village where you'd be safe?" Kagome asked.
"Because."
"Where are you headed?" Sango asked.
"I don't know."
Ren slowly got up out of the springs and covered her full bosom body with a towel.

"So Inuyasha what's with the girl? Its not like you to let her join up with us like that?" Miroku asked.
Inuyasha didn't say anything as he stared into the fire. "I see, you have a thing for her huh? Can't say I blame you she's damned beautiful. Poor Kagome what is she going to think about the two of you?" Miroku asked.
Inuyasha looked up from the fire. "What are you babbling about Miroku?"
"You cat thing, your her pet right? Whats she like?" Miroku asked Hiroshi.
"Cat thing! Pet! I am nobody's pet how dare you talk to me like that! And how dare you talk about Ren like that!"
"Like what? I just asked what she was like?"
"Why don't you go ask her yourself Miroku it seems the two of you seem to have a conection if it were." Shippo said.
"Alright I will." Miroku said getting up to go talk to Ren.
Inuyasha turned to Shippo after Miroku left. "Why did you do that?"
"For fun. I want to see what will happen to Miroku when he finds out about Ren."Shippo said with a snicker.
"So, what is Ren just a game to the two of you?" Hiroshi asked irritated.
"Calm down, there's no point in getting all wriled up about nothing." Inuyasha said.

"Ren!" Miroku called out to her as she headed back to the campsite.
"Yes?"
"Can I talk to you privately for a bit?"
Ren bit her/his lower lip not really wanting to be alone with him. "I suppose as long as you promise not to do anything."
"Alright."
Ren wasn't sure how trustworthy this guy but followed him carefully away from the campsite to somewhere else.
"Do you know how beautiful you look in the moonlight? Your mother must have been a real beauty to give birth to such a delicate creature."
Ren wasn't sure what to say to that. His mother was a fiend in his opinnion using her body for sex to say the least.
Ren caught himself turning red damn these female emotions! He didn't realize Miroku was coming closer to him until he was inches away. "Wow what are you doing?"
"I would like to at least kiss you once if thats okay with you? Those red velumptious lips look tasty."
"Umm....I don't think thats a good idea."
Miroku gave a little pout at being refused a kiss. "I wont try anything just a peck on the lips."
"Trust me you wouldn't want to do that if you knew me."
"Well then tell me about yourself then."
"I..."
Ren felt Miroku's lips on his all of a sudden as his hands moved down Ren's well formed body. Ren's eyes went wide at the feel of being kissed it sent adrenaline up hiis spine. When Miroku broke the kiss and stepped back to look at her "uh your face..."
"What?" Ren asked in a slightly cracked voice. It occured to him what was going on now Ren ran past him swiftly.
Miroku just stood there confused it almost looked like she was changing to something less appealing in his mind her face had started to look more masculine but that was just his imagination right? There's no way she could just turn into a man right? He pondered all of that, perhaps he came on a little stronger then he should have. Well he'd try to make up for it somehow.
