Distant Lullabies From Oblivion

ok. looking back at this chapter, there are some things that i want to clear up so that i wont have any lost readers. being as powerful as Sesshoumaru is, he needs a female with certain qualities to reproduce. he's tried for the past 50 years but hasn't found "the one." the only way to find out is when he's mated to the female. during the mating ritual, his demon essense is transferred to his mate so that she may be able to accept his seed and produce an heir. since none of his mates were able to conceive he broke the bonds. so that's why he hopes that kagura is the one to make things different because of her strength and charm ( which i think is seriously lacking, but that's just me).

the reason why Sesshoumaru is upset is because he thinks that Naraku is after his throne. he considers that to be his greatest accomplishment. but that is still to be determined.
