‘Thoughts’
Chapter 4
Time Fly’s
It has been weeks since I was able to write any thing down, I have been just too busy! I only have the opportunity to do so today because I was given a ‘day off’ sort to speak. Ever since Sesshomaru became my ‘Daddy’ and that press conference I have been booked from dawn to dusk. I will try to get this thing up to date.
The day after I was adopted Shippo had called Sesshomaru whining about how it was not fair for him to go see me alone. Of course this pissed off Sesshomaru enough to call me and demand my presence so the kit would stop whining his ears bloody.
Of course it was a tear filled reunion that would of made Sesshomaru nauseous. We had meet at a café just the two of us, and spent the afternoon getting reacquainted. Of course I asked if there where any mates or kits I should know about, but he told me no. He said he was still young in demon terms and would not be likely to mate for another century or so. It made me a little sad to know that my little Shippo who was not so little any more had no one to love him. Well at least until he told me that he did not want one, that he was not ready for a relationship with that level of commitment. He also said that kitsune rarely take a mate before their 1000 year and he still had a few centuries too go. Since that day Shippo was rarely if ever seen not at my side.
With us being together all the time the rumor mill began working. It is well known to the media that Shippo and Sesshomaru had always been family friends. It was weird at first when it was explained to me since I know for a fact that both fathers were long since pasted on. But it was the illusion as the years went on Shippo and Sesshomaru would fake the birth of a child. This would be their new identity once the child is old enough. Then the father would fade in the backdrop and a fake death will be played.
Sesshomaru was like the ruler or Lord of all the demons because they all worked for him in one way shape or form. Like Shippo for example was in charge of the illusions that they all used to blend in. it was something he had invented; when Sesshomaru excepted InuYasha’s last wishes.
Almost all people from the bottom floor to the top at Taisho corporation was demon. The only ones that were not demon were aware of demon, meaning they were the mate to a demon. It was like Sesshomaru’s demonic empire. I learned this first hand when he took me the 4 days after I reunited with Shippo. He needed to introduce me to everyone so I never had problems gaining access to the company building when or if ever I needed it.
The welcome I received way more then I expected. It when then that I found out that Kouga and Ayame had mated and Kouga was in charge of the branch Sesshomaru had in China. I could not have been more happier for them, they deserved every bit of happiness they have. I had also met with young Shiori the bat hanyou that she met during her travels to the feudal era.
Shiori had married a human, but do to the illusion charms from Shippo she has not needed to tell him what she was. The only one she would have to tell would be her child. And he would not be told until he was an adult. Since he was only ¼ demon he did not have any visual differences to a normal human. All his blood granted him was the enhanced senses that came with her clan and the most basic of their magic. Her child was entering his 3rd year. He held Japanese looks black hair and brown eyes he was 5feet 10 inches tall His name is Hiro Tatsuke.
Jaken the old toad was also still alive as unbelievable as it may seem. And was placed under Kagome duty as I like to call it. He was to be my driver. I felt kind of bad for him because now he had another babysitting duty. At least this time he wont have to worry about flowers being put on him….
About 2 days ago the rumor mill hit an all time high. It was front page in paper that Me and the long time family friend of the Taisho family were dating. Of course they caught a picture of us hugging though I could not tell if it was a hello hug or a goodbye hug. Kitsune were always affectionate beings and Shippo even more so because he had develop sort of a complex. He would sleep in my bed every night if I let him. He seems to think I will disappear again if he does not keep a close eye on me.
I know it was my fault that he is this way because of the way the jewel took me. It never allowed any of us to say goodbye. He had never received closure from my quick department. Though that was not my fault we still should have talked to him about it. Telling him that it was a possibility. No one wanted to talk about the possibility of me leaving so it was left unsaid and Shippo was too young to understand fully. Of course he got a kick out those tabloid papers, but I found it annoying.
The rest of the week passed pretty much the same way. Shippo coming to my house and whisking me away for the day. If it was not for Sesshomaru that would have happened today as well. Since I have that meeting tomorrow at the school Sesshomaru told him to leave me be for the day so I could prepare myself for the meeting and making sure I was ready to move the following day.
It was not something I was looking forward too because it meant that the time to wearing those god ugly dress was closer. And now that I am laying down to sleep for the day it means that I only have half a week before I must wear the uniform from and only 1 day before I move way from the Shine.

“Thank god I don’t have to wear that today” Kagome said as she walked into her bathroom to take a shower. She had woken up about 15 minutes ago and just finished eating breakfast. Sesshomaru would be here in about an hour so she had to hurry if she wanted to be on time.
“Kagome, here is all the papers you will need for the transfer. You transcripts, medical papers, your birth papers. I had gone down to your old high school to pick up your papers when you agreed to go to Ouran.” Kagome’s mother said with a smile while handing her daughter the files.
She was not too sure how she felt about this adoption of Kagome thing because once word gets out that her family is still alive, they might think there was something going on between her and her daughters new ‘father’. Why else would a man adopt another mans child who still had a living parent that wants to keep them? If not to adopt her as theirs cause they are with the other parent.
While Sesshomaru may look her age and incredibly sexy she knew he was not. In fact he was much older, but probably looked a lot younger. While that male was good looking he was way to stiff (no pun intended) for her taste. She knew he could provide for his wife and everything, but that stuff does not interest her.

Sesshomaru arrived at her home exactly when he said he was going too. He is there on the minute he states never before or after. He was really anal about things like that. I had learned that if I was not ready for him when he got here he was irate all day and I usually paid the price for it.
The ride to Bunkyô Tokyo was long and silent not that she expected it to be any less. Sesshomaru was and will always be the silent type. When they finally arrived Jaken waddled to the door and opened it. Sesshomaru followed by Kagome silently slip out of the limo and walked towards the school for their meeting with the chairman of the school.
When they arrived at the office the only person inside was a young blonde boy with bright blue eyes. The blonde hair and blue eyes were the dead giveaway that this boy was not 100% Japanese if he was Japanese at all. As soon as they walked in the boy noticed them and stood up with a sparkling smile.
Kagome knew right then and their that if they were to leave this school without incident then she better handle this boy. Sesshomaru never had the stomach for anything even remotely Chipper.
“Oh you must be Kagome Taisho!” the blond boy said while whisking to her and taking her hand in his and giving it a gentlemanly kiss. Then turning to the man at her side “And you must be her father Mr. Taisho.” he finished looking at the tall imposing man who was giving him a dark glare.
“If you value your life you will do no such thing in the future with my daughter boy” his tone was sharp and dark. His eyes glared death at the boy who shrunk away quickly.
‘SCARY!!’ he thought while walking quickly back to his fathers office “I will tell father that you are here.” he said hastily all but running into his fathers office to flee the scary man.
The blush fading from her cheeks she looks at Sesshomaru from the corner of her eyes “You know you have that whole ‘protect my daughter from the male species thing down right?” she asked attempting to lighten the mood.
His only response was a sharp look before they were welcomed into the office of the chairman.

“All her files are too be confidential only accessible by you.” Sesshomaru stated wanting to keep any and all thing about Kagome as confidential as he could. Since she did not live with him he wanted to make sure her home address was hidden to all eyes, but the chairman’s.
“I understand Mr. Taisho and it will be done. We here at Ouran take the privacy of our students seriously.” The chairman answered easily knowing that if he pulled this meeting off right he would be receiving a nice size donation to the expansion of the school.
Sesshomaru knew how these things went. This was in everyway another business deal only this one would be marked as a charity donation. He was a rich man among rich men so they expected to receive some sort of payment to except her so late in her schooling. Her grades where also a factor. Since her travels in the past weighed heavily on the schools she would be excepted into only a payoff with make her acceptable. So when the meeting had ended he signed a check over to the chairman. “Here is this years tuition. See that the rest of the sum is used to expand your library or other such things.” Sesshomaru stated stoically handing the man a check that was well over 100,000 dollars more then the girls yearly tuition.

“Only 4 more days” Kagome said to herself as she laid down to sleep. Only four more days before she starts this new high school surrounded by people she did not know.
