Tears
As soon as it started, the day dream had stopped. It left Kagome felling really light headed and her lower belly ache like nothing she has ever felt before. She looked around and saw that while her mind was off in its own world, some time has passed, and the others must be worried. She got out of the hot spring and started to dress.
No sooner then when she had put on the last of her clothes, Sesshomaru walked into the clearing with Kikyo over his shoulder. She could tell that Kikyo had been fighting back a little bit, but it was worthless. Sesshomaru set down Kikyo and took a few steps back.
"I have gotten her for you, now you can have your talk with her. But, don't think that I will always play fetch for you. This was the first and last time I will ever even think about doing something like this."
"Thank you Sesshomaru." She bowed as she said this, showing him that she respected him doing this for her. When she stood up again, he had backed off a little more.
"I will stay over here while you have your talk with her."
"Why have I been taken here?! You will answer me shadow of my soul!" Kikyo yelled at Kagome. But Kagome really did not have any reaction at all.
"What have you been doing Kikyo? We have not seen you since the final battle. I was starting to think that you might have died again."
"What I have been doing is only for me to know. I have been trying to stay away from you. All I wanted was to get on with what little life I have left."
"Alright then Kikyo, I have a few questions for you, then after that I will stay out of your life forever, you will never see me again, all that I ask is you do the same." Kikyo looked up at her, a wondering look in her eyes.
"Ask your questions." Kikyo now stood up, and brushed off her clothes. When she was done she looked Kagome.
"I really must know, do you love Inuyasha still?" She did not feel it as she started, but she felt it as soon as she had finished her question. It really felt like her heart had stopped, and everything around her was going in slower then normal.
Kikyo took a few moments to answer. "I do love him very much. After all that we have been through, I don't think there would be any other feeling I could have for him. I also know that he returns the same feelings for me, I already know that you will ask that too. And yes, I have been meeting him ever since the final battle." With these words Kagome felt the first tears roll down her cheeks. She could do nothing to stop them.
A/N: I know it took me a very... very long time to update this. But I will start doing more and more. Right now I could not do anymore. I will update very soon, and the next one will be long, and maybe some action, what kind, you will just have to keep an eye out for it.
