I thought I lost you

Chapter four


A fire arrow shot to where Sesshomaru’s foot would be when he did take his step but he stopped mid way.

“I missed on purpose but do that again and the arrow will hit your heart.” Inuyasha said with outstretched arm holding on to a bow and arrow engulfed in flame.

“Impressive elf.” Sesshomaru was a blur and was in front of Inuyasha pointing out a sword to his throat. “But I’m afraid it’s not good enough.”

Inuyasha smirked and a gust of wind threw Sesshomaru to the other side of the field. “I will ask you again demon… state your business here in the elven lands or leave.”

Sesshomaru let out his whip and shot to Inuyasha but was stopped when a vine tied to his arm. “Insolence is a very vital part of your society isn’t it? Demon?” Inuyasha had every bit of poison in his words.

“And garrulousness is yours.” Sesshomaru’s voice feral like and his head bowed down. When he looked up his eyes glowed crimson and his body contorted.

“He’s going to transform my prince.” Elixor warned

“Let him… it would be more painful for him and enjoyable to my part.” Inuyasha just stood there enjoying the view of a transforming Sesshomaru.

When Sesshomaru fully transformed he lunged at Inuyasha. “I never thought tha demons can be as foolish as he is… and of regal position.” Inuyasha thought to himself.

“One”

The land beneath Sesshomaru glowed making him stop.

“Two”

Iron chains shot up locking Sesshomarus four limbs and neck.

“Three.”

A symbol on the ground showed and bright light engulfed Sesshomaru. When it faded down he was back into humanoid form.

“You’re under estimating your opponent lord Sesshomaru.” Inuyasha said with sarcasm.

Sesshomaru was not shocked with what happened. But he was really anticipating it. ”I see… now I know he’s of regal position. Only someone of great power can conjure the spell that can suppress a demon’s youkai.” Sesshomaru said to himself. “For now I am relieved from my youkai’s pestering. I think I should thank this elf for it”

Sesshomaru just stood at the middle of the field. “Now demon… state your business. This is your last warning. Leave now or suffer the consequences.” Inuyasha said monotonously with a stoic face.

“I should thank you elf.” Sesshomaru said challenging Inuyasha’s monotonous voice with icy poison. Inuyasha raised a brow with that. “You see… you’ve relieved me of a long time of internal torment from my youkai. Now that it is suppressed my senses and my powers are at…” with blinding speed Sesshomaru was in front of Inuyasha with the tip of tokujin by his throat. :”optimum level.” Sesshomaru said smiling. The smile he showed when he kills his opponents. Inuyasha just looked at Sesshomaru with stoic expression. Sesshomaru plunged the sword into Inuyasha’s throat. When the sword entered Inuyasha’s flesh Inuyasha’s body was engulfed in flame and ran to Sesshomaru through tokujin and a big explosion sounded throughout the forest making its animal inhabitants scurry away.

Inuyasha stood regally at the other end of the field and look at the smoke that came from the explosion with a calm stoic Elixor to his side. “I will take this as a challenge and a declaration of war from the Inu demon clan.” Inuyasha called out from the smoke.

A gust of wind cleared the smoke out and what was seen was a crater where Sesshomaru stood regally in the middle looking at Inuyasha with slit eyes... “this elf has full of surprises” he mused as he looked at Inuyasha intently from head to toe at the first time checking out at every minor detail “the elven royal family seal… hn… a member of the royal family… that explains the wide range of spells he can use. This is going to be one of the best fights I’ll ever have.” Sesshomaru smiled showing his fangs.

Upon seeing this “do not interfere Elixor… this is my fight.” Inuyasha said to his protector. Elixor nodded. Inuyasha walked away from the ridge of the field closing the distance between him and Sesshomaru. Sesshomau raised tokujin and slashed it in the air releasing a blue wave of light. The energy wave was refracted by a barrier that protected Inuyasha and the forest behind him. “The love of nature is what the elves are famous for… but to make a barrier as big as that will require great energy. He may have exhausted himself.” Sesshomaru mused.

“Underestimating your opponent? Lord Sesshomaru?” Inuyasha spoke scowling. Sesshomaru just looked at Inuyasha with slit eyes. “Yes and No Lord Sesshomaru, yes that the barrier required great deal of energy, but no, I am not easily exhausted.” Inuyasha started chanting. “, I ask the spirit of fire… Pirena…” Inuyasha stretched out an arm to Sesshomaru with palms wide open. “Hotter than the sun’s core, redder than flowing blood, destructive than an eruption of a volcano I call forth Fire ball!” from Inuyasha’s palm erupted a red ball of energy three times his size and hit Sesshomaru.

Seeshomaru cut the ball in half with tokijin and the two halves uncontrollably shot in two directions and hit the mountains than surrounded them. The mountains peaks disappeared form the enormous explosions.

“Very impressive elf but the demons also had their share of magic and spells.” Sesshomaru raised his hand to the heavens “Gewitterregen” (a German word meaning thundershower) Sesshomaru called out loud. Thunder clouds appeared darkening the sky and lightning started strike to Inuyasha. Inuyasha dodged all the lightning strikes but was not able to dodge when Sesshomaru striked his tokujin. Unsheating Reinigen he was able to prevent the sword from cutting him but he was thrown to a tree and lightning started to strike in frenzy from where Inuyasha is. After sometime the light and thunder strikes stopped and the thunder clouds disappeared. What was left was a fast spreading forest fire.

From the depths of the fire a call was heared. “Alena! He spirit of water… I call forth a shower of the blessed rain…” rain clouds appeared above the wide forest and started to rain. As the flames slowly disappeared a battle cry was heard. “Water dragons!” dragon calls were heard and water dragons started attacking Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru seeing the dragons lunge to him from different directions called out a battle cry. “Hell’s flames!” the earth around Sesshomaru opened and a fire wall protected him from the water dragon. The dragons evaporated from the flame’s intense heat.

When everything settled Inuyasha appeared from the shadows of burnt trees holding Reinigen. “I am growing impatient from this…” Inuyasha’s voice unearthly… Inuyasha’s eyes glowed white, his clothing different from what he was wearing. He wore full metal armor fitted to his body, his hair in a high pony tail “I will purify you now! And it is now that you die!” Inuyasha was a blur and reappeared in front of Sesshomaru and slashed. Sesshomaru instinctively blocked the attack with tokujin but Reinigen became ethereal and was able to pass through tokujin and slashed Sesshomaru on the shoulder. Sesshomaru hissed and jumped away.

“Reinigen is able to take an ethereal form at will and damage demons even if it is ethereal form. It’s purifying powers enable it to do so.” Inuyasha smiled an evil smile that promised death.

Sesshomaru eyes stated to glow crimson again “I call forth the dark angel! Cover the sun and make this day blood stained red!” An angel appeared atop Sesshomaru with its black wings folded to itself. When It opened it’s wings a Sesshomaru like but with black hair and black eyes showed itself. It flew to the sun and at once the whole surroundings got dark, the moon showed it but having blood red light.

“My prince! The blood stained moon!” Elixor called out worriedly to Inuyasha.

“This is the same with my dream…” Inuyasha audibly said to himself. He looked at Sesshomaru engulfed by red aura starting to transform into true demon form. What was different from the earlier for was that this for looked more feral and is way larger.

“The same demon in my dreams…” Inuyasha said t himself.

“My PRINCE!” Elixor called to Inuyasha that brought him out of his daze.

“This is unacceptable!” Inuyasha started emitting whit holy light. I call forth the four elements Fire, water, wind, and earth!”

The four elemental spirits and Inuaysh set Sesshomaru in the middle of a star that is inside a circle with eleven markings margining it. The mark glowed and light beamed to the heavens

Sesshomaru is locked inside a barrier and started howling from the intense pain.

“I Inuyasha prince of the elves the youngest son of Elvira call forth the purifying power of Luna, the goddess of the moon!” Inuyasha call forth to luna. The red moon became white. Inuyahsa sheathed Reinigen to the ground and it transformed to a long broad sword when the light of the moon concentrated at it.

Sesshomaru looked at Inuyasha as he took the sword form the ground. As Inuyasha raised the sword getting ready to strike he saw Inuyasha’s crescent moon necklace as it dwindled with the force that Inuyasha emitted. One name came to his mind. “Inuyasha” he absently called out.

Something pulse inside Inuyasha that made him stop mid way from his attack. He looked at Sesshomaru that is now in humanoid form in the middle of the mark.

“My borother… my Inuyasha.” Sesshomaru called on to Inuyasha.

Memories from Inuyasha’s childhood came to him making his head hurt excruciatingly. “Stop…”

“Inuyasha… can’t you remember me?” Sesshumaru continued to call on. The mark disappearing and the day came to view. Inuyasha on his knees holding on to his hurting haid said “STOP! I SAID STOP!”

“Inuyasha…” Sesshomaru called

“STOOOP!” he fell to the ground, Sesshomaru was there in seconds to stop Inuyasha from falling to the ground but he only caught air.

“Release him!” Sesshomaru snarled at Elixor with Inuyahsa in his arms.

“You will never have my prince!” Elixor started to back away. Sesshomaru lunged at Elixor but he was too late for Elixor had spoken the word… “Teleportatum.”
