Chapter Four: Potion Mishap

In the mondern world Kagome was still waiting for Inuyasha. It has beem two weeks since she left, and he had the nerve not to come back and apolgize.

'The nerve of him,' she thought, stomping her foot.'He hasn't ome back to even say he was sorry. Well I'll show him. I'll do something worse tham sitting him.'

She suddenly smiled evily.

'And I have the perfect idea of what that is.'

Blinded by her anger, and forgeting about her friends well being, Kagome hurrided over to the well, and jumpped in. Time swirlling around her, as she made her way to the feudle area.

She hopped out of the well, the darkness shroding her like a vail. Kagome pulled out a long cloak and put it on. She started making her way to deeper into the forest. She continued to walk further into the forest, till she saw an old hut.

The hut was made out of wood and mud bricks. The hut was worn from the combination of the elments and time; moss also growing in the cravesses.

Inside this house, was an old which who once sold her own second son, for immortal life. She knew spells, that were ancient, and her potions were as powerful as the spells.

This was why Kagome was here. She needed the perfect spell or potion, to punish Inuysha for his diobedence.

She knoked on the door, and waited with simi-patince. Finally, it opened, and a women with long white hair, and ice like eyes stood in the entrnce opening. She didn't look a day over twenty, but Kagome knew she was even older than Kaede.

"Yes?" The old witch said in a small voice. "May I help you?"

"Yes, I need a-,"

"Potion, to punish your friend,"

Kagome blinked.

"How did you know?"

"I knew many things, child. Wait here a minute."

The witch left the door ajar, as she went back into her hut. She returned seconds later, with a vile of black color liquid.

"Here," she handed the bottle to Kagome. "This is the potion you'll need, to get your just rewards."

"Thank you. Now, about payment-,"

"I have no use for money, child. Just go and run along. And slip in his drink, so he won't taste the potion."

With that, the witch closed her door, without another word.

'What a strange old women,' Kagome thought, as she walked out of the forest.

The Witch leaned agianst her dorr, a heavy sigh passing her lips. She looked over to a conore of the room, gazing upon a picture of a child. A boy, around 15.

"After I sold you, my son, I wish I could take it back. That demon took you for a sex slave. And I...I had to suffer the concsequnces. Haveing to see, your older brother die. Then you, becoming what you hated-a demon mother with a child. I have sworn, that I would do only good, on the life of your first born.

"That is why, I gave her something that will punish her, for her own selfish desires. If only the hanyou and wolf demon, make the compermise, like the vision told me they would. May Buddha, it works. "

Inuyasha yawn widely, screatching his stomach as Miroku brought him his morning tea.

"Good morning, Inuyasha,"

"Yeah, yeah," the half deamon yawned once agian, before taking a sip of his tea.

"Good news, Sango says that Kagome has seen the error of her ways, and is comming to join us, today."

"Good. As much as I hate to admit it, I don't want her mad at me. She's like the sister I never had."

"I know Inuyasha, but I also know, that Kagome truely loves you."

"Feh! As a lover, you mean." The half-demon huffed.

"Just give her time, Inuyasha. She'll understand."

Later on, Kagome, Sango, Kirara, and Shippo met the two in the meadow. And just like Miroku said, Kagome saw the erorr of her ways. She even apologized to Inuyasha, for acting the way she did.

"It was completly agianst my nature, and I am so sorry, Inuyasha."

"Don't bother," Inuyasha shrugged. "It wasn't like you were trying to kill me, or anything. You know your my friend."

"Of course I am," she said with a laugh, but on the inside, she was scowling.

'Just a friend, huh? I'll show you. After I'm through with you, you'll be begging to mate with me.'

Inuyasha smiled, and went back to help Miroku pitch up a tent, for the girls to sleep in.

While he was doing this, Kagome poured the whole contents of the potion, in the teapot. She then added chamorilne tea, Inuyasha's favorite, and waited for it to be done.

'Now, you'll pay, Inuyasha."

After everyone was done with their assigned chore, they all gathered around, for some tea. Each one, had their favorite kind of tea, infront of them. Honey, for Shippo. Green tea, for Sango and Kagome. Orange Spice, for Miroku. And chamorline tea, for Inuyasha.

Everyone was drinking their tea, and was having a good time, talking about the day. Inuyasha laughed at something Miroku said, before polishing off his tea.

"Hey Kagome, could you please refill my cup? This batch is so good."

"Of course, Inuyasha," Kagome quickly got another cup, for the half demon. "There you go. Drink up"

"Thanks,"

Kagome smiled, as Inuyasha drank all the contents of the tea.

'Thats right Yasha, drink up. Soon, you'll be mine.'

After his fourth cup, the potion started to take affect, on Inuyasha.

He looked sleeply, as if he would pass out at any second. He also became very protecive, when it came to Shippo. The half demon wouldn't let the fox kit away from the campsite. Even when he needed to bathe, Inuyasha was right there.

Shippo was happy, but at the confused. He loved it how Inuyasha was finally giving him more attention. Yet, the half demon was acting like how his mother use to be, when he was a baby. He didn't understand why, but he didn't voice his conern out; thinking it was the effect from mating season.

Kagome was the only one in the group, that knew what was really going on with Inuyasha. And even though it wasn't going as she thought it was, she wasn't about to tell them about the potion.

It was hour later, till Kouga came upon the campesite. Kagome percked up a bit. Kouga would be like usual; flirt with her, and fight with Inuyasha.

She had no clue, that the wolf prine wanted the half demon, as his own. Well she did, she just forgot.

"Hello, Kouga," Kagome said in a cheery voice.

"Hey, Kagome. How are you?" Kouga asked, just to be polite. He knew his potinental mate, didn't like people, being mean to his pack.

Kagome giggled and smiled. "I'm just fine, Kouga. Thank you, for asking."

Ginta and Hakkaku came into view, panting and trying to catch their breath.

"So, how are you all doing? Inuyasha?"

Inuyasha looked up, at the mentioning of his name.

"What?"

"How are you doing?" Kouga repeated.

"Well, since you'd asked. I fell...kinda off."

"How so?" Kouga started to get panicky. His Yasha wasn't felling well? He didn't like to think his Inuyasha was ill.

"Can't explain it," Inuyasha shrugged. "I just fell...a little off, is all."

Kouga went over to the half breed. They were almost touching, nose to nose. Inuyasha blushed lightly, but didn't move an inch. He kinda liked having Kouga so close to him. The warmth radiating from his body felt so good...

"Maybe you should, take it easy. Just to be safe." The wolf demon advised quietly.

Sango looked back and forth at the two demons, and decided to stop this, before Kouga did anything to tick off Inuyasha.

"Here Kouga," Sango said, unknowingly offering him some chamorline tea. "Have some tea. You must be thirsty."

"Thank you, Sango," Kouga took the offered cup. He also poured another cup. "Maybe you should have some too, Inuyasha. You know, to see if maybe it'll help you."

"T-thanks," Inuyasha took the cup of chamorline tea, and drank it.

Kouga took a sip, and immediatly, he gagged.

He dropped his cup, and fell to the ground; Inuyasha doing the same. They both passed out, as Kagome called out their names.

Inuyasha groaned, as he opened an eye. It was dark, meaning that it was now nightfall.

'Gods, my head hurts,'

He groaned agian, as he tried getting up.

The first thing he noticed, was that the world looked a little bigger, when he stood up. Secondly, that he had a huge urge...to find a squrile, and chase it.

The last thought freaked him out. Since when did he want to chase squriles? He heard whisperes and sought out to investagate.

'I wonder, where everyone is? And where is that flea bag? If he spiked my tea and raped me, he's a dead man!'

Inuyasha finally saw a glow from the campsite, and ducked into the bushes; hoping to not interup the conversation.

"I can't believe this has happen." Miroku said in a grave voice.

"I know," It was Sango, who spoke this time, "and think about Inuyasha and Kouga. How will they take this?"

'Take what?' The half demon tilted his head in confusion.

"Kagome, are you sure, you didn't see anything strange?"

"No," Kagome's voice held grievenss. "It must have happened, when I went to the springs to get more water."

"Well, in any case, we have to live with the result of this action. Untill we find a cure, of course."

'A cure for what!?'

There was a loud bark, and Kagome jumped.

"What was that?" She asked.

"I think, our friend is awake," Miroku concluded.

He got and went over to the bush, where Inuyasha was hidding. He parted the shrub, and saw famillar golden eyes.

"Ah, glad to see your finally awake, Inuyasha. We have a lot to talk about."

Inuyasha gave his friend a confused look, before getting out of the bush. He looked around the fire, and saw a wolf, laying on its stomach, with dark brown fur, and black streaks on its back, staring at him. But what got Inuyasha, was that the wolfs eyes were a fimilar ocean blue.

He looked down at his own person, and saw that his hands were paws and were covered in snow white fur.

"We think, that there was something in the chamorline tea."
