Giving into Temptation
Sesshoumaru closed his eyes and drew the air into his lungs. So the heat had came to Inuyasha, too. What cruel fate had it that they both were under its influence at the same time. Their father had told him to bring Inuyasha home when his first heat started. They did not know what kind of effect it had on the hanyou and he might be dangerous to others if not kept under control.
He opened his eyes and looked at the flustered looking little brother of his. So Inuyasha was not able to control it so well. He could see his hands shaking slightly. When he looked closer, he saw that his whole body was shaking but the hands were the worse.
"What do you want?" Inuyasha asked annoyed by Sesshoumaru's presence.
Sesshoumaru smirked at him evilly. "Why do you think I want anything? But it does seem that there is someone here who wants something," he teased his little brother mercilessly.
Inuyasha blushed at his brother's words, glaring at him. "That doesn't explain why you are here? Did Father send you?"
"Indeed," he answered, moving close to Inuyasha and in a flash he was right in front of him. "I came to take you home, Inuyasha." His breath tickled the hanyou's face.
Inuyasha gulped, closing his eyes as he nodded. He couldn't find his voice when Sesshoumaru was standing so close.
"Uum, Inuyasha?" Kagome's voice brought him back to reality. He couldn't leave just like that.
He stepped away from his brother, turning to face his friends. "I have to go. Sorry guys, I will explain when I get back, ok?"
"Eh?" Kagome looked confused at his sudden decision. "You sure to be back soon?" she asked, looking suspicious.
"Yes, I will." It took all his willpower to speak coherently. He was glad that Kagome didn't ask any further but let him go. "You can go back to your own time. When we are ready to resume our journey, I will come and get you," he said, turning to face Sesshoumaru again who began to lead him down the road.
