# Inutaisho’s thoughts#

“Ugh…”

“Oh Kouga finally you’re awake.” Izayoi called. The inuyoukai family turned to see Kouga rising from the pile of books.

“Aw! What happened? Aw! I think I have a head ache…” Kouaga kept on complaining

Inuyasha looked at Kouga intently (he’s really cute… even if he’s all haggard and all… am I really thinking this? Anyway I told grandma that it’s ok but not to my brother) he glanced at his brother to see him looking at him with cold narrow eyes that promise vile consequences… (Oh gawd! Does this “mating” gave my pervert brother the power to read my mind!) He saw his brother turned his searing burning eyes to Kouga and heard a low growl of irritation. (Ugh! Sesshumaru! You’re such a bastard! Fucking jerk! I didn’t want you as my mate for the first place! Oh I know… hehehe)

Sesshumaru looked at Kouga then turned to Inuyasha. he was shocked to see his mate run to Kouga and helped him up.

“Kouga? Are you alright?” Inuyasha said hoaxing of comfort. Kneeling infront of Kouga.

“I am now… Thank you Inyasha.” Kouga held Inuyasha’s hands in dead, firm, gentle lock. “Thank you for your concern my beauty.”

“E… m….” Inuyasha stuttered then turned all red from the compliment. He then turned to look at Sesshumaru eyes so narrow and flashing red. Feeling that his brother might explode he took his hand from the soft hands that held it and stand up. “Thanks for the compliment couz…” Still all red.

“But no! It’s not a compliment! I’m merely stating the truth! The fact that I have an angel in front of me, an ethereal being.” Kouga said quickly standing and again grabbing Inuyasha’s hand and gazing him tranquil love flowing eyes.

“Ah... he…” Inuyasha glanced at his brother now his fist clenched and eyes almost full red and full of jealousy.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Everyone turned to the door and saw Kaede.

“Lord Inutaisho, Lady Izayoi… young masters Sesshumaru, Inuyasha, Kouga…”

“Yes Kaede?” Izayoi said in her usual bubbly voice.

“Lunch will be ready soon.”

“We will go there momentarily…” Intaisho said with his normal cold toned voice.

Kaede nodded. “Yes Lord Inutaisho.”

“And kaede…” Inutaisho added. “Can you ask some people to clean this mess up?”

“Most certainly Lord Inutaisho.”

“Thank you…” Inutaisho said as Kaede nods and turns to leave.

“Now… can we?” Inutaisho said calling on his family for lunch.

“What the fu-!” Inuyasha was cut short and all occupants in the room turned to look at the commotion.

“If Kouga can keep his hands to himself…” Sesshumaru said quickly snatching Inuyasha from Kouga, holding him on the waist “… now we can go.”

Inuyasha slapped Sesshumaru’s hand “I am not an object of possession!” Inuyasha said facing his brother with irritation “and quit acting like a jealous husband!” a shade of red gracing his cheeks with the last word.

“Is it not? Am I not your husband as your mate?” Sesshumaru stated sarcastically making Inuyasha scowl. A slap was heard echoing through the room. Inuyasha’s face was scarlet red of anger and red hand mark was seen in Sesshumaru’s cheek.

“How… how… HOW DARE YOU! I may be your mate but that doesn’t dispose me as a mere possession!” Inuyasha bellowed almost cracking the glass window and mirror door.

Sesshumaru’s head that was turned away due to the slap turned to face Inuyasha. “I am not pertaining to that. Nor will I ever will…”

Inuyasha froze from what came out of Sesshumaru’s mouth it had something in it… as sound… (A sound of warmth…) “It’s just that…” Inuyasha was surprised to see that his brother was out of words to say, which he normally doesn’t. “It’s just that… I’m jealous…” Sesshumaru said so soft that if Inuyasha was still human he wouldn’t definitely hear it.

(Whoa!) “What was that?” Inuyasha just can’t imagine his brother said that he would want to hear it again. (He’s jealous?! This is new!)

Sesshumaru froze. (Well I guess it was just the wind… but all windows are closed? What the heck!) Inuyasha turned to leave

“I’m jealous!” Sesshumarou shouted at Inuyasha.

All the occupants of the room had widened eyes like saucers’ from what Sesshumaru said.

Inuyasha’s jaw almost dropped to the floor from what he heard and turned to look at Sesshumaru that has his bangs covering his eyes but his face showing red.

“Se…Se… Sesshumaru?” Inuyasha stuttered and a bit shaky.

“I’m jealous! I’m jealous okay! Happy?!” Sesshumarou bellowed.

Inuyasha was left with no words. His mind was as blank as space until…

The door opened with a bang and there cam rushing Kaede.

“Lord Inutaisho I apologize for my disrespect but this is urgent!” Kaede said panic escalating from her words. All that was inside the room was shocked by Kaede for she was usually very calm. She was not the one to panic even if she was in a sinking ship!

“Calm down Kaede… Now…what is it that you want to-…” Iutaisho was cut short.

“I have received reports at our valley’s entrance that military men are seen in formation. It seems that they had known…” Kaede have to cut it short for she has to gasp for air.

“That we are demons.” Inutaisho finished it for Kaede.

Izayoi tensed from what she heard and looked at his mate. The brothers turned to their mother feeling her uneasiness.

“I have known that this would happen...” Inutaisho said audibly to himself.

“Taisho I won’t-…” Izayoi said nearing his mate.

“Izayoi… you know what to do…” Inutaisho said sternly

“No Taisho! I won’t leave you!” Izayoi said on the verge of crying.

“Izayoi! We’ve talked about this! Now go! Take the boys!” Inutaisho said commandingly to his mate. He then turned to look at… “Kouga.”

“Yes uncle… our humble house is open for them…” Kouga nodded

“Father! What’s happening?!” Inuyasha said confused and exasperated.

“The humans had known of our youkai. Usually the whole inu valley has a barrier to prevent the youkai seeking satellite to detect what ever youkai is in here.” Inutaisho said calmly.

“Then how father?”

“It seems to me that you and your brother’s youkai are so powerful that the barrier was not able to hide it.” He walked to where his sons was standing and hugged his two sons in his wide arms. “I am so proud of you two… Now… I want you to take care of your mother...“

“No!” Sesshumaru said coldly feeling his fathers embrace getting tighter. “Father?!”

“Father! No! I will fight with you!” Inuyasha said almost loosing his breath feeling his father’s tightening embrace.

“So brave… yet so arrogant, as your grandparents. No sons… I want you to take care of your mother while I’m away… I promise I’ll come back for you.” At the last word the big shelf of books behind them opened and they were pushed in a hole.

“Father! Nooooooo!” the brothers said in unison.

“I love you my sons… I will always love you…” he then turned to Izayoi walking towards him.

“No Taisho! Don’t touch me! I will not leave you here whether you like it or not!” Izayoi said screaming as his mate comes near him.

“Izayoi…”

“No INUTAISHO! DON’T YOU COME-… mnmmmmnnn” she was stopped from her berating as Inutaisho attacked her lips in a deadlock kiss. “Inutaisho! No…”Izayoi struggled but Inutaisho held a firm grip… “I love you my Izayoi…” suddenly Izayoi limped to his hands. As their lips parted he spitted out excess fluid. He then turned to Kouga and gave him the limped body in his arms.

“Take care of him… send my regards to your parents…”

“Yes unlce… but the medicine you gave her will it not affect you?” Kouga said worriedly.

“No Kouga… I am immune to all poison… and the medicine you’re talking about came from me.” Inutaisho said smiling. He placed a chaste kiss on Izayoi’s forehead and turned away. “Now go!”

“Yes uncle.” Kouga nodded and rushed to where the brothers were pushed. As he slid down the hole the shelf slide in to close the opening.

“Kaede!” Inutaisho said a bit exasperated.

“Yes my lord?” Kaede said in panic and shaky.

“Get a hold of yourself! Get all the servants. You know the plan. Use the passage ways underneath the palace… I’ll be the one to cover any traces… The Palace of the Mountains awaits my family. I want it to be clean and fully furnished. They will go there after the stopover at the wolves.”

“How about you my lord?” Kaede said worriedly.

“I’ll be… I’ll be joining them…” Inutaisho hid his eyes from Kaede. “Now go!”

“but my lord…”

“GO!” Inutaisho almost roared as a sound of guns and bombs were heard from the palace gates. Kaede ran out of the study.

Inutaisho calmy closed the big wooden doors of his study. Walked to his chair behind the table, sit down, and lowered his head patiently waiting for the humans.

He smelled the air of human blood. # It seems to me that the demons at the forest are able to weaken the forces of the vile humans. Very good. # He then heard running and thumping foots inside the palace. # Definitely not the servants… I heard the last of them 15 minutes ago. This must be the military… nice…#

Kshhhh! Ksshhhh *sounds of communicators*

“No one is in the palace sir… but the device has found one single being and we have the room fully surrounded.”

“Make your move.”

“Yes commander.”


The big door of the study was blasted from the wall. Mirrors behind it fell on the floor as the soldiers came rushing in surrounding Inutaisho.

Inutaisho sat on the chair comfortably his head bowed. “My family had long since suffered from the hands of filthy humans… from the longest time we didn’t retaliate…” a demonic growl was heard from him that brought chills to the soldiers’ spine. “But…” red youkai power emanated from his body shattering the window behind him. “But now… my family had enough!” his fangs and claws grew, his eyes crimson. “It’s pay back time…” the last words was followed by a loud feral growl.

“OPEN FIRE!!!” then guns and then nothing… only rasping breaths were heard in the study. Blood painted the floors and the shelves of the study. All was dead except for one. Silver hair drenched in blood, from his hands drip human blood mixing with his. “humans and their toys...” he was wounded by one soldier.

*Flashback*
Snapping heads and throbbing throats were heard all over the room. An only silver blurs are seen of Inutaisho.

Guns…

Shouting…

Intermittent growls from Inutaisho…

“AH!” Inutaisho whimpered.

He just appeared in front of a soldier that was engulfed in a stench of fear. In his fear, absently shooting every place hitting Inutaisho on the shoulder.

Then a snap of bones…

Then everything was silent.

*end of flashback*

“haaa… haaa… haaa…” “I need to get going…” Inutaisho said panting. He then turned to beast form… a miniature dog demon in true form but only bigger than a great dane. Turning to leave…

“Ah…ah…ah…ah… where do you think you’re going puppy?” an eerie voice was heard from the door.

“… Kagura…” Inutaisho turned growling at the woman wearing a full kimono and holding a fan.

“It’s quite a flattery that the lord of the west Inutaisho knows a bourgeoisie demon like me?” Kagura said mockingly.

“Your revolting mouth never fails to disgust me…” Inutaisho said mocking back.

“You will never be able to bark at me again after I’m done with you! YOU FILTHY MUTT!” air swirling around Kagura as her eyes turned red in fury.

“Etiquette dear Kagura... you don’t want to be as insolent and impertinent as your mother is…” Inutaisho mocks more literally pleased to see Kagura burn in rage. He showed a feral smile but his eye burn crimson.

“I am thru listening to your barking you MONGREL!” Slashing her fan in the air making it strike in force towards Inutaisho. Spears of air raced to Inutaisho but being in demon form easily evades.

“A bit different from your mother… she must be really disappointed with you… I’ve seen her do better things with her craft…”

“moko moko…” Inutaisho uttered in the air.

“Huh? What was that Inutaisho? Suddenly speaking words not known to this world? Do you see death?” Kagura raising her hand ready to slash until she felt fury silk wrap her body. “WHAT THIS!”

“I see that my pet likes you…”

”LET ME GO!” Struggling fiercely from the wrapping object.

“The more you struggle the more it gets tighter… the sooner you meet death…”Inutaisho said coldly.

“Are… are you going to kill a demon like yourself!” Kagura said in desperation.

“Don’t you dare call yourself a DEMON! You filth! Demons have the courage to face their death and not a coward like you shall be called a demon to that!” Inutaisho said coldly but with slight disgust.

“… ahhh! I beg of you…” Kagura now panicking.

“You are disgusting… shame to all demons… how many demons had said that before you took their lives? Did you even consider? Providing yourself and your power over the humans… the very kind that almost led us in the brink of extinction…

moko moko…

Do what it is to be done.”

Feeling the silken fur tighten its grip on her body making her gasp for air. “AHHHH!!!” Kagura screamed as a rib cracked puncturing an organ.

“Justice be done…” Inutaisho turned to leave as shattering bones were heard and an ear breaking scream was heard. Then silence. He was about to jump out to the garden when he smelled something putrid. The scent that lingered with every dead demon. The stench of the one demon that dared come between his mother and father.

“Naraku…” Inutaisho said with a growl.
“It’s flattering that you’ve still known of me after all this centuries…”

Inutaisho turned to face the being that had all that stench. “Naraku… tell me… do you have the same dialogues as your minions? It’s beginning to get redundant…” INutaisho said mocking the man in front of him.

“You have the same sharp tongue as your mother… and the same cold tone as your father… a deadly combination.” Naraku said grinning.

“Yes… dead… like you once were if you haven’t connived with the humans to abduct and kill my mother… you would have been dead.” Inutaisho said baring his fangs.

“Did your grandfather teach you any manners? It’s bad for an Inuyokai to bar his fangs at elders.” Naraku said his grin turning to a smile as he sees that Inutaisho scowling his eyes are flickering red.

“You are not to say any members of my family using your filthy mouth…” Inutaisho’s youkai emanating out of his body.

“tsk tsk tsk… bad dog… someone must teach you the virtue of respect…” Naraku said frowning. His tentacles slowly coming out of his body and a cloud of miasma flowed out off him covering the floor knee high.

“Mokomoko.” Inutaisho called out from the now undistinguishable Kagura bones pulverized. You can just imagine a crumpled paper. The fur wrapped itself on Inutaisho’s neck flowed to his shoulder and two front legs.

“I see… preparing for a battle? But what can a fur sash do?” Naraku said releasing chuckle. Sensing that Inutaisho may attack soon he made the first move… His tentacles shot to Inutasho.

Inutaisho seeing the tentacles jumped to the air and plunged to sink his fangs on Naraku.

“I got you now!” Naraku exclaimed. Spearlike tentacle shot up to strike Intaisho in the abdomen.

“I don’t think so.” Inutaisho countered as he snatched away Naraku’s shoulder. Mokomoko furry as it may seem lengthened and slashed to cut the tentacles of Naraku releasing blood and miasma.

“Impressive… but not good enough.” He then turned to Intaisho and spewed miasma to cloud him as tentacles followed. He was waiting for a howl of agony or whimper but nothing came. “Did I kill him? I was planning to make this as slow and painful for the daiyoukai… maybe the poisonous miasma killed him and my tentacles dislodged his bones from its attachments… pitifull… hahaha!” he mused audibly… purple miasma still covered the place. He turned to leave but was stopped when he can’t retract his tentacles. “What the?!”

“Naraku… do you think a daiyoukai can be defeated easily?”

“No!” Naraku turned to where his tentacles were held as miasma slowly seeps away to the opening of room. He saw the furry sash he was mocking holding all the tentacles in one braid. As Inutaisho stood regally red aura coming out of his body.

Inutaisho spit the arm he held in his fangs. “You think your miasma can kill me? Naraku you’ve underestimated… I am immune to all poison… and I my self can make one.” Naraku saw his arm slowly eaten away by a green like fluid, until what remains is the green fluid eating away the floor.

Inutaisho saw that Naraku’s eyes widened from what he saw and was really motivate to see more… “Oh… I almost forgot… the poison eats away flesh and bars any demon’s ability to regenerate.” He could almost laugh at what he saw. Naraku was surprised and as if frozen to where he was standing. “So may be now you’ve realized why your arm never grew back. And it will never grow back” As he finished a tentacle shot up from the floor to his abdomen. He quickly cut the tentacle and jumped away releasing the other tentacles. He squirmed as a piece of tentacle still in his abdomen fiercely wiggles and cuts its way deeper into his abdomen. Momoko got a hold of the tentacle and held it out of its master’s abdomen as it was slowly dissolved by the poison.

“That is for my arm you bastard!” Naraku spat and smiled as he saw Inutaisho’s bleeding abdomen. Blood dripping to the floor. “haha! Inutaisho… my miasma is different from any other poison. It is the only thing of its kind that can poison any demon proclaiming itself to be ‘immune to all poison’ you cannot heal that throbbing wound!” Naraku laughed.

“Underestimating me again Naraku?” Inutaisho raised his head to look up at the ceiling and let his saliva drip to his wounded abdomen.

“What are you doing?!” Naraku said in confusion.

Inutaisho lowered his head and looked and fought the gaze his enemy gave him with narrowed eyes “my saliva is my own antidote…” with that the wound bubbled, from his abdomen miasma flowed to the floor. As the bubbles subsided the wound was still open but the bleeding stopped and the wound was free from the stench of miasma. # I can no longer fight like this… If I exert effort my wound might start bleeding again. # “Surprised? I thought at your age nothing will be able to surprise you…”

“THAT WOULD BE YOUR LAST WORD!” With that Naraku let out a purple aura engulfing him. His eyes dark purple his voice alien like. “YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO SPAT NONSENSE EVER AGAIN!”

“Let’s see who will say his last words.” Inutaisho jumped to the air as tentacles shot to where he was standing. Another tentacle shot to the air but he quickly evaded it. Inutasho hovering above Naraku.

“DIVE BOMB!” Inutaisho roared a battle cry

Red aura engulfed him and dived to Naraku creating a large explosion. The mansion was cut into half and a mushroom cloud of fire hovered over the palace as if in a nuclear bomb. Naraku was left with no arms as the explosion amputated his remaining arm. Intaisho stood a fair distance away from Naraku.

“That too will never regenerate…” Inutaisho said coldly.

Naraku limped on the ground… he slowly rose to being helped by his withered tentacles. “Curse YOU INUTAISHO!” he looked at the dog demon… he looked around and saw burning fur scattered throughout the ground. “Ha! By the expense of you attack it turned your furry sash into pieces. Now nothing will protect you from my attacks! *cough*” Naraku coughed out purple blood.

“I think I won’t be needing it anymore… I would only need my fangs and claws to kill you now…” his fangs and claws grew. “Prepare yourself… prepare to stand before hell’s door!” as he prepared to leap to slash Naraku tentacles sprouted out of the ground skewing him. *cough* Inutaaisho coughed out blood.

“Falling for the same old trick now Inutaisho!” he looked at the limped body of Inutaisho in the air. Limping helplessly in his tentacles, his tentacles wriggling vigorously boring more holes and letting Inutaisho cough out more blood.

“you will not anymore utter words! Die now Inutaisho! But…” he lowered the dog demon as the tentacles sink in deeper into his abdomen as if looking for something. “There… I found it…”

Inutaisho coughed out more blood as Naraku said the last sentence…

“Your heart… so soft… and it beats… vigorously… I would really love to feel it bleed and be crushed…” he further lowered Inutaisho and maneuvered his lips near Inutaisho’s ear and whispered…”I would do the same thing to your sons and your dearest mate… but before I do this to your mate… I would want to TASTE HIS SMOOTH DELICATE SKIN… maybe then I would not kill him… but take him as my mate… he will be my toy for as long as I live!” and he let out a chuckle as he saw Inutaisho’s eyes dilate to impossible extents.

Naraku then raised Inutaisho up in the air… higher that the canopy. “GOOD BYE INU NO TAISHO!”

Naraku’s tentacles held on Inunotaisho’s heart. He coughed out more blood as the grip tightens. Inutaisho let out a howl so mournful that the heavens clouded and it began to rain.

“YOU WILL HAVE THE FATE OF YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER!!!” Naraku shouted out laughing.

The tentacles held on the heart more tightly and pulled the heart out from its body. Blood rained to the ground fighting with the water. The ground stained red. He released the body and let it fall to the ground. Even when dead the body fell gracefully to the ground.

Naraku lowered the heart above his head and squeezed it. letting blood flow to his head and body.

“ahaaa… ahhaaa… AHHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!” Naraku then crushed the heart and let it’s pieces fall to the ground… he laughed looking at the sky drenched in the inuyoukai’s blood. “I swear to Kami that I’ll slay all INUYOUKAIS! AND THE SAME FATE WILL HAPPEN TO ALL OF THEM! AHAHAHAHA!”

The sky mourned… it cried… it rained like it never rained before. Fans of lightning was seen and booms of thunder as if saying their farewell to the great Inuyoukai.



In a mansion by the cliff waves hit the cliff with enormous force making thundering sounds encompassing the thunder. Winds blew hard bending trees to break. Lightning and thunders. It rained hard hitting the palace…

As a scream was heard… a scream that won the loudest… that almost shattered all the glass in the mansion.

“INUTAISHO! NO!!!” Izayoi wept and mourned with the rain.
