Two Girls, One well

"I have to see if Koga is ok." Mira said walking over to Koga who was laying against a tree holding his abdomen. She kneeled down and had a worried look on her face. "Are you all right?"

" What does it matter he got what he deserved." Inuyasha snapped at Mira.

" Don't fucking snap at me!" Mira hissed causing Inuyasha to jump back a little along with the others. Turning back to Koga she planted a smile on her face. " Take off your shirt let me see how bad he sliced your ass up."

" Man she is scary." Miroku shivered hiding behind Sango.

" Yeah." said Inuyasha doing the same behind Kagome.

Koga began to pull off his armor to show his wounds. Mira cringed at the sight sticking her tounge out and making a disgusted face.

"That's just EWW!!!" Mira shuddered seeing the rest of the wounds. She put her fingers on the side of one wound and dropped her smile. "Does it hurt much?"

" Not much." Koga said as Mira's began to radiate anger and narrowed her eyes.

" Good." Mira said pushing her thumb inside one of the wounds causing Koga to scream in pain. " Now say your sorry for letting your flea bags attack my sister!And i want you to scream in pain you veil mutt." Koga cringed shaking his head . Mira laid atop of him digging her fingers further in. "SAY IT!!!"

" NO!" Koga yelled as she used all of her weight to push her fingers in deeper and twist them around. Blood covering her arms and chest." STOP!" He cried

" SAY it and I'll stop!" Mira hissed pushing her fingers in deeper and used the other hand to do the same to another wound.

" Remind me not to piss her off." Inuyasha said cowering behind Kagome.

" All right I'm sorry!" Koga screamed . She stopped and slowly pulled herself up flashing a cheeky grin to the others.

" You can take care of you own wounds." Mira smiled walking into the forest leaving Koga in a tremendous amount of pain.

She walked for a while till she reached a river. She looked down at her bloody hands and arms.

" Best get cleaned off." She sighed walking into the water totally ignoring the fact she was dressed. She began to scrub her hands, with a smile worthy of a saint. She began to hum an old lullaby her mother used to sing to her. She had forgotten that blood had splattered on her face.

" God it is beautiful here." She smiled looking around the water shinned from the sun like crystals the tree's where slightly blowing in the wind like a beautiful dance. She climbed out of the water and laid on the bank with a smile closing her eyes. " I wish this could last forever." She suddenly shot up to the sound of a twig snapping. " Uhh......Who goes?"

A figure known all to well to her walked out, Not wearing his baboon pelt, it was him, In the flesh. She shivered a bit, in both pure fear and wanting of this man,Demon rather. He had always been her favorite chariture in the show, simply because he was the 'bad boy' of the story and she was always attracted to the bad ones.

"Um...Can...i help you Naraku?" She said softly and rubbed the back of her head, itching under her bandage a bit. she masked her fear and just smiled a bit.

"Are you not scared. You know who i am, and yet you do not cower in fear." He spoke in a deep chilling voice, making her shiver.

"No, why, Should i be?"

"Of course you should." He said and smiled. "I usually kill or hurt anyone like you, People who don't fear me, But you, i will make an exception, I've been watching you, you and your sister. And you have me dare i say mildly intrigued. So i want you to join me, This is the only offer i can give you, Join me or die."

"Well as intriguing as your offer sounds , i think ill pass on both, what is the third option?" She smirked and threw him a cocky grin. 'Why am i fucking with him, he'd probley kill me!' She shurged it off and stood up straight with her arms crossed arogently over her chest and her nose stuck up stubbornly.

"I will kill you if you don't join me woman." He spoke stepping close to her, wrapping his hand around her already injured throat, squeezing a bit.

"How can i be of any help to you. I am a mere human with no physical skills or powers."

"Oh on the contrary. I oversaw a conversation your sister had with Sesshoumaru. And she told him her father trained her in a different fighting style every year since she was at her fith year. Now tell me, Would your father or would he not have trained you as well?" He saw her cringe when he mentioned her sister, he had found out her weakness....it was her sister.

After about twenty thrity minutes of her telling him no and struggling he just simply smirked. . "Have it your way!" He said and a Mac Donalds commercial popped into Mira's head.

"Listen bud." She growled pulling her arm away from him again covering her mouth and nose. " Leave me the HELL alone." She started to walk away again. He grabbed her hair and yanked her back " Eep" She squealed as he pulled her face close to his. " You're hurting me."

" Quite." He snapped pulling harder on her hair.

" Let go of me!" She screamed pulling her hand up and pulled on his wrist. Then he did something very un Naraku. He leaned in and clasped his lips to hers. He snacked his tounge out and licked her lips. Finally rendering her quite.

"You die. But not by my hands. HAROSHI DOGIMANA this one is yours!" He said laughing as he grabbed her up and threw her back against a near by tree. Slowly disappearing into the thick underbrush.

Sesshoumaru slept by the water fall with Nani closely watching over him. He had his fluffy thing rested under his head like a pillow.

"I hope he'll be okay," she thought to herself as she sat only a foot away from him. "I don't know what I'd do if he didn't make it... And Rin." Her eyes turned to Rin who had resumed her head's spot on Nani's lap. "What would she do without him? Where would she go?"

The sky turned a dark blue as the sun began to rise, not quite yet piercing over the mountains. There was a light breeze and the air temperature was perfect. When she closed her eyes and let the sounds of the forest filter through her mind and the feel of the earth beneath her hands, she felt like she was in heaven and all her worries disappeared for a moment.

That is- until she opened her eyes and remembered Sesshoumaru was still badly hurt. She sighed deep and thought, "Make it through this, Sesshoumaru," then closed her eyes again.

Her eyes slowly opened and she sat up. Not realizing she fell asleep, she cursed at herself for being so careless. Her eyes instantly moved to where Sesshoumaru had been resting... He was still there and hadn't moved an inch.

Rin was gone and Jaken was sleeping soundly near Sesshoumaru's feet. Nani quickly stood up and went looking for Rin.

"Rin," she softly called not to wake Sesshoumaru from his seemingly peaceful rest. "Rin?"

"I'm over here, lady Nani," Rin called as she splashed around in a hot spring.

Nani walked up to the edge of the spring and smiled, "You worried me. I thought you had been taken."

"Nope," she smiled sweetly as she continued to play in the water. "I'm sorry I worried you."

"It's okay, I know you're safe now."

"Lady Nani, may I ask you something?"

"Of course, Rin."

"How do you feel about Lord Sesshoumaru?"

She sighed and she dipped her toes in the water. "I like him a lot." She smiled.

"Do you love him?"

"I don't know."

"I think he likes you. I've never seen him look at someone the way he looks at you, Lady Nani."

A huge smile crept onto Nani's lips. "You think so?"

"Mmmhmm."

"Thanks, Rin. I appreciate that."

"No problem," Rin said with a sweet smile.

"I'm going to go back and keep an eye on Sesshoumaru, ok? Just wanted to see if you were all right."

"Okay."

"Be careful."

"I will."

Nani walked back to Sesshoumaru and sat next to him, setting her hands on the ground and just waiting for him to wake up and be all right. "If he has no desire for using jewel shards, then why did he do this to himself just to get three of the stupid things back?" she softly asked herself.

"It's the principal of the matter, my dear." Sesshoumaru opened his eyes and looked at her. "How long has it been?"

"A day and a half."

"Have you slept?"

"A little."

"Where is Rin?" He quickly sat up.

Nani jerked up and laid him back down by putting her hands on his chest. "She is in a hot spring having fun. Calm down. You're still hurt badly. Just rest. I can take care of Rin. After she gets out of the spring I will take her to find some food then build a fire. You just relax. I'll take care of everything."

"I do not ask you to do this."

"I want to."

"As you wish."

Nani did just as she said she would and took care of everything. She found food and cooked it for Rin, kept her entertained, among other things. She treated her like she was her very own daughter. While Jaken continuously paced around Sesshoumaru, waiting for him to wake up again.

"Jaken," Nani said as she brought Rin out of the spring and wrapped a towel around her.

"What do you want?" he snapped.

"He'll be fine. If you keep pacing and cursing so loud, you'll wake him up."

Jaken grunted and sat on the ground next to Sesshoumaru, "I suppose she is right. I wouldn't want to wake or disturb lord Sesshoumaru."

Nani thanked Jaken and wrapped her robe around Rin then dried her hair with a towel. "Have I ever told you how adorable you are, Rin?"

"No, lady Nani," she giggled as Nani rubbed the towel over her head.

"Well I'm telling you now that you are the most adorable girl I have ever seen."

She giggled again. "Thank you."

"Okay you're dry. Oh no! I missed a spot!" She grabbed Rin in her arms and covered her head with the towel and proceeded to tickle her. "Are you dry yet?" she teased.

"I'm dry. I'm dry." Rin said as she laughed harder then Nani had ever heard.

Nani stopped tickling Rin when she saw Sesshoumaru standing a few feet away from them. "Did we wake you?"

"No, I've been awake for a few minutes."

"Should you be standing?"

Rin ran up and wrapped her arms around Sesshoumaru's leg."I'm well enough now that I can stand. How long was I asleep?"

"About five days. You looked so peaceful, I didn't want to wake you." She began to fold her towel.

"I thank you for allowing me to rest. Were there any problems?"

"Nope. Rin was an angel the whole time and Jaken didn't move from your side. Though he did keep giving me cold stares. I can tell he still doesn't like the fact that you allow me to stay with you."

"You are great company for Rin. She loves you. I wouldn't change it." He brought his hand down and put it on the back of Rin's head.

"What about you?"

"Your company is a welcome. You seem to make interesting conversation. You are a great help with us. I am not always around for Rin and I worry about her when I am away." He looked down at Rin. "I see how you treat her as if she were your very own daughter and it brings a smile to my face."

Nani smiled as she hung her towel over a tree branch for it to dry. "I'm highly trained in the art of fighting and swordsmanship. My father put me in lessons for different types of fighting every year since I was five. I can defend Rin at any costs, if that is your concern."

"That was my concern."

"And I know a lot about fending for myself in the woods. Finding food and whatnot."

"So you are just a normal girl who is highly trained."

"Yes."

"And you are not psychic."

"I can tell you about just about any demon, their origins. Even some humans with out even meeting them. I don't think psychic is the exact word. But I can tell you anybody's weaknesses."

"And my weakness?"

"That one is just too obvious. It's Rin. She is like a daughter to you and you know she sees you as a father. Losing her would send you into such a deep anger you would never stop killing until you were killed. Rin's weakness is her heart, as is mine. We have such good hearts and are so caring that one day they will lead us into helping the wrong person or trusting our hearts to someone who would easily break it without looking back. I know you would never let someone hurt Rin which is why, when the day comes, you need to closely watch over her and the men in her life."

"I'll put that to thought."

"So you see, I am not exactly psychic. But in a way I guess you could say I am."

"In a way, yes."

"So if you come across a demon who it seems you can't beat. I could tell you his weakness and you could use that to your advantage."

"I have no desire to cheat in battle."

"Just offering. But what if one day you are on the verge of being defeated and need my help?"

"If I am about to die I would not ask for the help of a human."

"Still think we are weak, huh?"

"Yes."

"I'm sorry to inform you, Sesshoumaru, but I am not weak. You are strong."

"Human's are weak."

"If you let a human into your heart you would realize just how strong we are."

"You have been trained to kill all your life. What would you do if you had to actually kill?"

Nani lowered her head. "I wouldn't be able to do it."

"Exactly. It's best to think that they have no heart, no emotions, no family. It's kill or be killed in this time, Nani. Dangers exist here that you could never imagine. Humans will bow down to anybody stronger than they are."

"I bow to no one."

"If I wanted to make you, you would bow to me."

"I find that unlikely."

"You think highly of yourself, don't you?"

"No, I just have dignity. I will not humiliate myself by bowing to a creature that doesn't even exist in my time."
