Chapter 4: Busted in the Woods
Inu-Yasha walked alongside Kagome his hands clasped behind his head staring at the setting sun painting red and gold across the sky. He was walking to a village where there were reports of a jewel shard. For once his mind was not on the jewel shard but again on the dream of his brother. Shippo bounced up and clung to his shoulder. Instead of swatting the fox off he ruffled his hair. Miroku nearly died. "Who are you and what have you done with Inu-Yasha?" Kagome demanded. "What?! I can't be in a good mood without something being wrong?" he yelled at Kagome and he swung around to face her. She looked over her shoulder pale and unmoving.
He turned and saw Sesshomaru standing before him on the path. His stomach dropped to the vicinity of his knees. He covered his nervousness with anger. "What the fuck do you want?" he snarled. The elder brother merely raised one sleek brow. "Well this is different from the boy hiding in the bushes." he said coldly. He smirked as Inu-Yasha's anger faltered and he became the shy uncertain boy in the bushes. "I just want you to know I was watching that day in the woods. I saw what you did and I heard you call my name." he said smoothly. He was steadily walking toward Inu-Yasha. Kagome was amazed. She had never heard such lengthy speech from Sesshomaru. She strained to hear what he whispered in Inu-Yasha's fuzzy or why the half demon trembled so much. WHat shocked her the most was when Sesshomaru tangled his fist in his brother's hair and forcefully kissed Inu-Yasha.
"I'll return for you soon, little brother." he whispered and disappeared into the trees. Inu-Yasha fell to his knees in the center of the path staring at the spot his brother had vacated seconds ago. His cock throbbed and his cheeks flushed. He was lucky that he wore very roomy pants.
"INU-YASHA! HELLO!" He started as Kagome screamed at him. "What the hell?!" he shouted. "What the hell was that about?" she demanded. "How the hell should I know?" he snarled back at her. "Cause you looked like you enjoyed it. What did he say to you? You were shaking." He glared at her his anger raw and seething at the disgust in her voice. She was sullying one of the best moments of his life. "Why the hell do you care you bitch." he screamed.
"SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT!" Kagome screamed. Inu-Yasha lurched forward his body grinding into the dirt. When he stood he glared at her. "Apologize Inu-Yasha." "Never not after you accused me of liking it." he growled and turned from her waiting for a sit that never came. Miroku and Sango remained silent and Kagome scooped Shippo into her arms and opened her mouth to say something.
He stormed away trying not to think of how the others must be seeing him. He stomped toward the town only slowing to look for a place to spend the night. He hated staying indoors. Kagome seemed angry as he launched himself into a large tree refusing to come to the inn with the others.
"Why won't you come?" she demanded. "BECAUSE I HATE BEING IN-FUCKING-DOORS." Inu-Yasha roared suddenly in her face. She stumbled back and fell into the dirt tears springing into her large eyes. "I can't breathe in there and none of you know what it feels like to be hated and mistrusted just for breathing so fuck off!" he launched into his tree.
Kagome got to her feet and ran into the village not looking back. Miroku and Sango followed her and left Inu-Yasha to himself.
"They don't understand you." his brother murmured from the road. Inu-Yasha's rage was still boiling, "Oh like you do. What the fuck are you doing you hate me. Why not kill me it make this a hell of a lot easier for all of us." he snarled. Next was staring into his brother's angry eyes, a pale clawed hand wrapped around his throat. "Never say that. You are not better off dead!" Sesshomaru snapped, his voice filled with an emotion, Inu-Yasha couldn't place it. "Now don't do anything stupid and I will see you in two weeks on the New Moon." and he was gone leaving the half demon confused scared and lonely.
