My Hearts Desires

After last night Rin was on cloud nine. All she could think about was how she felt in Sesshomaru’s embrace and the way his lips felt against her own. She wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of her life feeling his hands roaming her body. But also knew that with her advances on her lord last night that he would spend no time trying to place her in a village. She didn’t want to complicate his life; she just wanted to enhance it with her love. So she decided that she needed to waste as much time as she could so she could convince her lord to stay with him.

She heard her companions awaken and start to pack up the campsite as the sun started to rise high in the sky, she decided that she would sleep in as long as she could to hinder their journey. But her efforts were for not, as Sesshomaru had taken Jakken on a short walk away from the campsite and the “sleeping” Rin. He needed to explain what happened last night and forge a plan to rid himself of the girl for good.

“Jakken, come!” summoned Sesshomaru

“Yes master, what is the matter?”

“There was an incident that I am not proud of, that happen last night that urges me to quickly find a village safe enough to place Rin in.”

“What happened? If you don’t mind my prying my lord.”

“Upon me returning to camp last night, I found that Rin was still awake, and decided to make her intentions known.”

“She was still awake? She was asleep by the time that I decided to fall asleep, sneaky wench.”

“Choose your words wisely Jakken.”

“Sorry my lord.”

“Last night I let leave of my senses and let Rin get the better of me. So with that I have decided that we need to quickly dispose of her before I regret ever letting the girl travel with us.”

“But my lord you have never said that you regretted taking Rin with us.”

“Exactly. That is why we need to separate ourselves from Rin now. Once she awakens we will start off to find a village, we should have her settled before nightfall.” Then Sesshomaru trailed off in thought, “so that I don’t have another nighttime episode like last night.”

Rin woke up and took her time packing her things she hoped that they would start off on their way, after noon, so that they wouldn’t get too far before nightfall. Not knowing that Sesshomaru woke up early to search out a small village in the hills to place Rin.

As the trio traveled Jakken had so many question about what happened last night, while he carelessly slept. Did Rin throw herself at Lord Seeshomaru? Did he sleep with her? Is Lord Sesshomaru in love with Rin? He would never dare ask those questions of his lord, he would surely have his head if dared to be so bold. But he couldn’t help but wonder, Lord Sesshomaru is always so secretive. The quiet thoughts were broken when Rin’s piercing voice broke through the silence that they traveled in.

“Lord Sesshomaru, can we please stop for a spell? I’m hungry and feel as if I might faint if I don’t eat something.” Asked Rin

“Come to think of it,” Jakken thought to himself “we didn’t eat anything before we started traveling and I am a bit famished myself.” Saying aloud “Can we stop, we didn’t eat anything this morning and if we are to make it for the rest of our journey, maybe we should stop and eat something to refuel ourselves, if that’s okay master?”

“If you must, but make quick with it. We don’t want to stall our journey for too long.” Sesshomaru said as he stared at Rin. She had a pleased look on her face. Sesshomaru thought to himself, “I know what you are doing Rin. You may try to stall me, but you nevertheless will be taken to the village and you WILL stay there.”

Rin and Jakken started to prepare some food and began to eat. Rin kept a sharp eye on Sesshomaru. As she watched her lord, she couldn’t help but relive the events of last night in her mind. She could still feel his lips and fingers touching her and the thoughts made her blush. It was as if she could read Sesshomaru’s thoughts and knew that he had no intentions in spending another night with her by his side. But if he could read her thoughts, then it would be hard for him not to want to have her, like she wanted him. Rin just kept thinking that all she needed to do was to have another encounter with him and then he wouldn’t be able to get her out of his system, and thus not be able to be separate himself from her. She just needed to figure out how to get him alone.

Sesshomaru was angry that he had allowed Rin to get the better of him. But the thoughts of last night still raced through his mind, and they tickled him. He wondered if the reason that Rin was able to take advantage of him was because he was still “invested” in his earlier exploit of the woman. Then he thought that maybe the reason that she was able to get the reaction that she had, was because she too had master the ability manipulate his actions, like he had with the women that he would lay with. Then he thought, how did she learn how to be so seductive? How did she learn how to take control over his emotions and body, like she had? Then he snickered, “however she had learned it, she had plagued his body and soul to the point that he wanted nothing more then to ravish her.

The meal break wasn’t nearly long enough, for Rin’s liking, but knew that she had to count her blessings in the last moments that she had with her lord. It seemed that Sesshomaru wasn’t just scouting out a location. He had already found one and was heading straight for the village. The thought that they would be at the gates of said village in no time seeing as how expediently they traveled, Rin couldn’t help but think, “Oh please let there be something that will hinder our travels, so that I could stay with my lord. Just one more night, just more kiss, is all I ask.

I want say thanks to all that are invested in this story. I have to admit I'm not exactly happy with this chapter. I do promise to continue with the story as quickly as I can type it up and upload it.
