Chapter III
The gang rode down the street on their motorcycles, the Yamahas and Suzuki's roaring and purring loudly in the otherwise still night air. The only other sound being made that could compete with the throaty roars of the engines were the throaty cheers being issued by their riders, celebrating a wild night and a victory won over a rival gang.
The band of motorcycles stopped in front of a three story being, appearing to be run down and perhaps abandonded on the outside, but in fact recently renovated from the inside, almost appearing new when one walks in through the front door.
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha parked their cycles in front of the building, and shutting off the engines, dis-mounted, removing their helmets and shaking their heads from side to side, letting their hair untangle and fall free from their shoulders.
The others let their bikes idle on the street, waiting for the orders to be issued from their leaders.
"Okay boys, here is what's going down. We'll be talking to the don here, the rest of you go ahead and start bringing the house down at our joint. We'll join you there later." said Inuyasha, holding his right hand up in a thumbs up to his gang members.
Hoshiyomi pumped the handlebars on his motorcycle, adding gas and getting a roar out of his engine. With Siukiyomi holding tight onto him, he took off down the street, the other gang members following his lead.
"Ready for this, younger brother?" asked Sesshomaru, turning his gaze from the departing gang members to the decriept looking building.
"Hell yes. Let's get this fucking shit over with. I'm the mood to drink and fuck all night long." muttered Inuyasha, heading up to the front door, with Sesshomaru, Kikyo, and Kagura behind him.
He rapped on the door, a series of knocks that was code for entering into the building. After he was finished, a few seconds passed before the door opened, and a burly man filled their view.
"Ahhhh, how ya doing Jules?" asked Inuyasha, sizing the man up and down.
"The boss is expecting you." he said in reply, stepping aside to let them enter.
"Yeah yeah. Be a good slave will you, and watch over the bitches?" asked Inuyasha as he and Sesshomaru stepped aside.
"Hmph." Jules muttered in response, his eyes sizing up Kikyo and Kagura.
The two boys went to the doors leading to the Don's private office, and both of them straightened their clothes and made their expressions one of seriousness, preparing to deliver the report of their little battle...

Kagome came awake at the sound of sirens heading past their shrine, but merely yawned and went back to sleep.
This was not exactly an unusual occurence, and she was sure she would hear about it in the morning...

Manten cried over his brother's dead body, grieving for his lost sibling.
"How, how could my brother lose to that whelpling?" cried Manten, clearly distressed.
"Such a tragic loss." came a voice from behind him, causing Manten to look up, tears staining his eyes.
"YOU!!!" cried Manten, not really believing who he was seeing.
"If it's revenge you want, we can help you achieve it." said the voice.
"What's in it for me and the rest of the gang?" asked Manten, instantly suspicious.
"Well, without a leader, your gang will probably collapse, considering the amount of territory you've lost. We'll help you regain your lost territory, and help you become the new leader, assuring your gang's future." offered the voice.
"You'd help us...to survive? Why? What's in it for you?" Manten went on, his tears starting to dry at the prospect of sweet revenge.
"Elimination of a rival gang. We help you, and in the future, you help us." said the voice, smugness now entering into it's tone.
Manten pondered this for a while, before nodding his head.
"Very well. I accept. What's our first move?" asked Manten, soon to be the new leader of his gang.
"The first move has already been made. All we do now is preparing for the backlash of it." said the voice, before the person turned and left the building.
Manten stared down at his dead brother, then picked up his body, heading out to give him a proper burial.
