When they walked out of the club Kagome stopped at the bouncers spot by the door.

"Hey have you seen Miroku lately, Malu?" she asked.

"Thank you Malu." Kagome said as she walked over to where Sesshomaru and Sango were standing waiting for her.

"He says he saw him walking towards the park." she told them.

All of them started walking towards the park. They saw a figure sitting on the swings alone. With his head down, they knew it was Miroku by his clothes.

"Miroku?" Kagome asked walking closer.

"Leave me alone." Miroku mumbled only loud enough for Sesshomaru to pick up.

"Hey how about I deal with this ladies. You know man to man?" he said looking at the two girls standing next to him.

"Alright." Sango said with her head a little down.

Sesshomaru walked over to Miroku and sat down on the next swing. He sat there waiting for Miroku to start talking, like he knew he would... any minute now.

"Why is it no matter how hard I try I always end up hurting the people I care the most about?" Miroku asked looking at the sand under his feet.

"It is not that you mean to Miroku. It just happens. Maybe you should try harder. Make yourself commit to it and you will be able to resist everything. It worked for me. You can do it too." Sesshomaru said looking up at the sky.

Miroku looked over at Sesshomaru and gave him a small smile. "Your right..." he said as he stood up.

Miroku laughed as they walked back to the girls waiting for them. Sango had looked up at Miroku and he saw that she was upset. So he walked up to her and gave her a little hug.

"It is not your fault Sango. You did nothing wrong. I will try.. alright?" he asked as he pulled away from her and looked her in the eyes.

Sango's eyes got wide as she saw the seriousness in his eyes. "Alright." she replied and she smiled and settled for holding his hand.

"So what do you guys wanna do now?" Kagome asked.

"I want to hear you sing another song Miss Kagome." Miroku said smiling devilishly at her.

"Awww man you know I don't like to sing more than one song.. you know leave them wanting more." Kagome said.

"I would like to hear you sing again as well." Sesshomaru said smiling down at her.

"Me too." Sango joined in.

They all turned and walked back to the club. Malu let them back in without a fight or another charge. Once inside Kagome went off in search for the manager.

Sesshomaru, Miroku, and Sango went to reclaim their seats.

"Hey Sesshomaru?" Miroku asked trying to get his attention.

Sesshomaru looked at him to let him know he got it.

"What did you have to do tonight, before you came here?" Miroku asked.

Sesshomaru got a far away look in his eyes and a sad smile. "Family business." is all he said.

"Uh huh." Miroku said as he ordered another drink.

"No more for you tonight Miroku. You've had enough." Sango said as she ordered him a coffee.

"Your such a drag Sango." Miroku said as he looked away at the stage.

Kagome came up on the stage and everyone cheered upon seeing her.

"Alright all of you lovers need to get on the dance floor for this one. It's called Every time. I wrote it for a special someone." Kagome said with a spark in her eyes as she looked pointedly at Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru raised his eyebrows at her and she gave him a smile.

The music started to play and Kagome started moving to the beat. The couples up on the dance floor started to dance along. It was slow at first but it started picking up little by little. It wasn't a slow song type of dance they were dancing. It was like the slow body grinding type of dance the couples were dancing.

Kagome walked along the stage. Dancing slowly along with everyone else. All the while keeping her eyes glued to Sesshomaru, who was looking at her in surprise.
