Sesshomaru Chooses

Chapter 4

One month had just flown by since Rihashi was born, Sesshomaru had gone on one of his patrols with Jaken. He had been gone for two whole weeks and Rin was missing him dearly. Since Rihashi had come, Sesshomaru wasn’t always around Rin and their son. He had other matters to attend to and Rin understood.

Jaken had asked Sesshomaru if he would ever make Rin his mate but Sesshomaru wouldn’t answer. He had of course been thinking about the same thing but unfortunately he already had a mate no matter how much he despised Esha. Even though Rin wasn’t his mate, she was still the mother of his son.

One night when Rin was asleep in her chambers which she shared with Sesshomaru. A figure had entered Rihashi’s room which was opposite theirs. The figure loomed closer to his cot, Rihashi was sleeping silently. The mysterious stranger took a knife out of his sleeve and held it up, preparing to strike the small infant. Though before the knife got even close to Rihashi the stranger was thrown to the ground.

He looked up and someone walked out from the shadows into the moon light it was Sesshomaru. He had just arrived and was heading to his chambers when he suddenly smelt a scent coming from his pups room. Sesshomaru walked towards the stranger and grabbed him by the neck and lifted him of the ground. “Please have mercy” he begged grasping onto Sesshomaru’s hand which were around his neck.

“Who sent you” Sesshomaru asked him and tightened his grip around the poor assassins neck. “L lady Esha, she told me that if I killed the youngest son of Sesshomaru she would give me a hundred gold coins” he told him. “Is that so” Sesshomaru dropped the demon assassin, when he thought that Sesshomaru had spared his life boy was he wrong. Sesshomaru slashed his whip at the poor souls neck and killed him.

“No body gets away with such a crime” he said to the lifeless body which was lying on his sons floor. Suddenly Rihashi started crying, Sesshomaru walked over to his pups cot and looked at his son. He wasn’t quite sure what to do in this situation when Rin walked into the room just in the nick of time. Rin saw the dead body on the ground “what happened” she asked Sesshomaru why picking their son up. “I have to go and do something” he told her and left Rin with Rihashi in her arms.

Esha was in her chambers when her doors suddenly swung open, she turned around and saw Sesshomaru standing in her door way. “Why lord Sesshomaru this is a surprise to see you in my chambers” she said. Sesshomaru walked over to her and grabbed her by the neck this time. “L lord Sesshomaru” she was having a hard time breathing with his hands tightly around her neck. Sesshomaru looked at her with disgust in his eyes “you tried to have my son murdered, I was lenient with you last time but this time I will not be so kind” he told her.

Sesshomaru then threw her to the ground “you will pay a heavy price for trying to have my son killed” he said. “GUARDS”, two guards came into the room “take her down to the prison cells and torture her any way you see fit” he told them, “yes sir”. They grabbed Esha by her arms and headed out the room. Saisho saw two guards walking out of his mothers room and he saw them taking her down the hall.

“MOTHER” he yelled out running to catch up to her but Sesshomaru stood in his way. “Father where are they taking mother tell me” he asked him. Sesshomaru looked down at his eldest son and then walked the opposite way. Saisho just stood their watching his mother disappear down the hallway.

Down in the jail cells the guards threw Esha in one of them, she ended up grazing her knee from the throw. “Who would have thought that Sesshomaru would allow his mate to be tortured” one guard said. “Yeah I know but she did try to have lord Sesshomaru’s youngest son killed” the other guard replied. Esha was really scared she now regretted her action but she couldn’t turn back time and would probably die now. Maybe it was for the best Sesshomaru never loved her and would never love her.

She just wished that she could have been able to watch her son grow up but that wasn’t going to happen. She knew that her father would hate Sesshomaru for having her killed but he would never go against Sesshomaru. Esha didn’t know what they where going to do to her and frankly she didn’t want to know. A guard came in and walked up to her with a smirk on his face and the next thing she saw was complete darkness.

Saisho was in his room, he didn’t want to admit it but he knew that he was never going to see his mother again. He was furious with his father and detested his half brother the most, "mother" and he broke down in tears.

It was the next day and Sesshomaru had written a letter to lord Hiroshi telling him what Esha had done and that he had her killed for her action. When he received a letter back from Hiroshi their was nothing saying on the letter that he was going to wage war to avenge his daughter. After four days of complete torture Esha's body had become so weak that she died. Sesshomaru decided that it was fair that they hold a funeral for her.

Sesshomaru had her buried on the castle grounds even though she committed a terrible crime, it was right to give her a proper burial. Sesshomaru went back inside after the ceremony was over, Rin saw how upset Saisho was. She walked over to him “Saisho”, he looked up at her with tears in his eyes. Saisho then looked at Rihashi and Rihashi looked back at him “leave me alone” and he ran of. “SAISHO” Rin yelled out to him but he didn’t stop he just kept running. Rin looked at the grave site where Esha laid.

“I am sorry” and she headed back inside the castle doors when it suddenly started raining. Sesshomaru was in his study looking out the window and seeing all the rain drops sliding down his window. He sighed “what is it now Jaken” he asked the toad knowing he had been their the whole time. “Milord their has been word that a war has began over in China and the emperor was hoping that you will help him fight against the enemy” Jaken told him. “I see, so the jade emperor has decided to attack the northern border” Sesshomaru mostly said to himself.

“What shall be your reply milord” Jaken asked him “we will leave at dawn tomorrow” he told him, “very well milord” Jaken replied.

Sesshomaru was heading over to his chambers to tell Rin that he will be leaving for China tomorrow morning. He walked in and saw her brushing her beautiful black hair in front of the mirror on the dresser. Sesshomaru came up beside her and put his hands on Rin’s shoulders. “Is something the matter milord” she asked. “I am leaving for China tomorrow” he told her, Rin put the brush down. “Oh, that is unfortunate” she said, Rin got up and stood in front of Sesshomaru. “Though I want you to always remember that I will be here waiting for your return” she told him.

Sesshomaru looked at her, she was so beautiful and warm hearted, he knew that she would wait for him until he returns no matter how long he was going to be away for. Sesshomaru put his arms around her waist and pulled her in for a kiss. Rin put her arms around his neck and they soon both ended up on the bed.

Sesshomaru had taken her clothes of along with his until they where both totally naked and only their body warmth kept them warm. “Make love to me lord Sesshomaru” Rin said in a seductive voice. Sesshomaru leaned down and kissed her so passionately he then started to kiss her down Rin’s neck. Why doing that he opened her legs and positioned himself in between her thighs. Sesshomaru guided his member into Rin’s entrance, she was still a bit tight but not as much when they had first done it.

Once Sesshomaru was inside her, he began moving his hips giving her complete pleasure. Rin was moaning and the bed was rocking it was internal bliss. With every push Sesshomaru was giving it felt like a volcano about to erupt. Rin was gripping so tightly on the sheets that her knuckles where starting to go white. A sudden growl came from the back of Sesshomaru’s throat and he started to get faster.

A soldier walked past their bedroom and could smell the scent of mating coming from his lords room. A smile crossed his face and he kept walking, the guard across the hall who was staying guard outside Rihashi rooms could hear what was going on in their no problem. He wanted to leave but he was ordered to stand guard Sesshomaru’s youngest son.

Sesshomaru and Rin had been going on for quite a while but Sesshomaru was going to come very soon. After a few more pushes he came all inside Rin, he then pulled out and laid down beside her. “Sesshomaru promise you’ll come back” Rin asked him, “I promise” Sesshomaru replied. “To keep my promise will you allow me to mark you as my mate” he then asked her. Rin looked at him and a big smile came on her face. “Yes Sesshomaru I would love to be your mate” she replied. Sesshomaru got closer to her and bent down until he was close to Rin’s neck and before she knew it Sesshomaru had bit her.

She winced a bit from Sesshomaru’s sharp fangs which had dug into the side of her neck. He then let her go “in time that bite will show the mark which will prove that you are mine and mine alone” Sesshomaru told her. That night Rin was now officially Sesshomaru’s mate and the new lady of the west. Now that she had been marked she was given eternal life, so she could be with her mate forever.

Another chapter coming up sorry that this one was short but the next one will be longer.
