Chapter 4

It had been five days since Sesshomaru and Rin shared a night together. Rin couldn’t forget about that night it was stuck in her head. Sesshomaru knew that in a few days his servants would be able to detect his scent on her. Though he had just mated with a human he didn’t feel that bad that he did it. All though since these last few days he had smelt another scent coming from Rin. It wasn’t hers or his but something else. It was only small but he could deffiently tell their was a different scent coming from Rin. Their was only one possible explanation and he knew full well what it is.

Rin was pregnant with his pup, that was scent he couldn’t believe he didn’t pick it up earlier. It had only took him one night and he had got Rin pregnant. Sesshomaru could tell that Rin had no idea she was with child. He wasn’t sure how she would take it knowing that she was going to give birth to his fist born. Also she was only 13 she would be a young mother of course he was the one who mated with her. Of course he never expected to make her pregnant, what would he do if the other lords found out. Or rather that if anyone found out he knew his servants would find out that she was pregnant just by the smell of her.

He hadn’t even marked her as his mate which was not really a good thing now that she was going to have a baby. Sesshomaru had never dreamed of having a half-breed child and as this was his first pup would it be his heir. For centuries each lord was a full blooded demon their had never been a hanyou one before. The lords of the south and north wouldn’t be to pleased about hearing that a half-breed would be the heir to the western lands. He didn’t really worry about Chensu lord of the east. This was going to be a very tough decision for him to make especially if this pup was a male. Only males can become the heirs of either land even if they where the youngest or even the second youngest.

Their had been word going around that Sesshomaru will soon need to take a mate to have an heir for his lands. The other lords already had an heir for their lands, Sesshomaru was the only one who didn’t. Though he had no time to think about that now he had to tell Rin the news.

“Rin”, “yes milord” she was as happy as a beaver when he had called her name. He could see that she was very happy with her big lovely smile. “Rin do you remember what happened a few nights ago” he asked her “yes milord how can I forget” she replied. “There is something you need to know” he started to say “what may that be lord Sesshomaru” she asked. He looked at her it was now or never. “Rin this might come as a bit of a shock for you but I you have a right to know”. Rin was a little confused what would she be shocked about “Rin you are pregnant” he finally told her.

The look on Rin’s face was speechless, Mika had told her was pregnant means which was good. Of course Rin had never imagined herself being pregnant at such a young age though. “I’m pregnant” was all she could say. Sesshomaru could deffiently see the surprised look on her face “yes you are caring my pup” he replied. Rin was even more surprised now she was caring lord Sesshomaru’s child. She was going to be a mother and the mother of her masters first born. She felt like she was about to faint after hearing all this.

“Well I guess it cant be helped but I am very honoured to be carrying your child lord Sesshomaru” she said with a smile. Truthfully even though she was shocked about being pregnant and all. She actually felt really happy about it and couldn’t wait until it was born.

A month went by and already Rin was showing a bit of a bump in her belly. All of Sesshomaru’s servants found out that she was with child and that it was their lords. Sesshomaru had gotten all his servants together and told them that if even one of them told anyone from outside the palace walls he would kill them all. Just to make sure he had got the one who told about Rin being pregnant with his first born. They had all promised him though they didn’t like knowing that Rin was pregnant however they would rather like to keep their lives. Of course when Shurai found out she just wanted to rip the child out of Rin’s stomach and strangle it with her two hands.

‘How dare she taking lord Sesshomaru away from me and carrying that disgusting half-breed’ it kept saying over and over in her head.

When Sesshomaru would go on his patrols he would make sure that Ishu was with Rin at all times. The season of mating was over and everything had gone back to normal which Sesshomaru was happy for. Rin had asked Ishu how long it will take until she was able to give birth. Ishu had told her that a human baby would take nine months but for a demon baby it would only take six. Ishu could see how happy Rin was but she was rather worried about her. As Rin was still mainly a child she wasn’t sure how she would cope when it was time for her to give birth. Even though the child was a hanyou still it would take a lot of energy out of Rin.

Though Rin didn’t really worry about that she knew she was young to be having a baby. However she was so happy being able to bring a new life into the world and cherishing it with love. When Sesshomaru had told her that if it was a boy he wasn’t sure if he would make him his heir. Rin understood perfectly after all the things she had learned about the lords of the south, north, east and west and how they were all full blooded demons. She didn’t really care if their child wouldn’t be the heir to his lands. Sesshomaru was surprised at how calmly Rin took it he thought she might be upset.

Though their was a little part inside Rin which was a little upset about hearing it. She thought because of it that her lord would dislike their child because it was a half-breed. She never showed it though but Sesshomaru could see right through her. Even though he was shocked she took it so well he knew that somewhere inside she was upset. Even so if he chose not to let his unborn pup the heir to his lands he would not dislike it. As long as his pup had his blood running through its veins that very much pleases him.

After two more months Rin’s stomach was getting bigger in just three more months she would be giving birth. She had just turned 14 three weeks ago which made her feel rather good now that she was another year older. Sesshomaru had could already tell that his unborn pup was a boy but he didn’t tell Rin that. He wanted to make it a surprise for her when the time came for her to have their child. The time had just flown so fast and Rin was getting bigger every day the pup inside her would be very strong. Sesshomaru could tell because of the amazing rate it was growing inside of Rin.

Their had still been one thing on his mind though he was thinking should he make Rin his mate. If he wanted to protect both Rin and his pup he had to mark her as his.

He found Rin sitting on a bench near the garden, she was rubbing her belly in small circles why humming at the same time. He just looked at her and saw how peaceful and happy she looked. Right then at that moment Sesshomaru didn’t just want to mark her to protect her he wanted her to be his forever. He knew that if he marked her as his mate that some of his blood will go into her. As he had read once that if a demon marks a human and the demon’s blood mixes with the humans the human will be able to live the same length of time a normal demon could just like his half brother Inuyasha.

He walked up to her Rin soon felt his presence and looked up at him, she could tell their was something bothering him. “Lord Sesshomaru are you alright” she asked him standing up but the weight in her belly was so heavy that she almost fell back. Luckily Sesshomaru had caught her just in time. He brought Rin into his arms, he could feel his pup’s heart beat on his chest. “Rin would you like to be my mate” he asked not looking at her. Rin was speechless did he just ask her if she wanted to be his mate. This wasn’t a dream or anything “I want to protect you and out unborn child and if I mark you as mine you will be able to live forever” he told her. “Of course I will only let you decided I will not force you” he then said.

Rin still couldn’t believe it, so if she became his mate she would be able to be with him forever. That is all she wanted was to remain by her lords side forever and ever so she decided that she would become his mate. “I would love to be your mate milord” she replied, once Sesshomaru heard those words he did what any other male would do. He slowly slid the left side of Rin’s kimono down just abit so he could see Rin’s shoulder. He bent his head down a bit “this may hurt a little” he told her. A shiver ran up Rin’s spine when she felt his breath on her skin. She held tight on Sesshomaru’s sleeves, when she felt his sharp fangs dig into her shoulder. A small gasp came from her mouth why some of her blood trickled down her front. Sesshomaru licked the blood away and the teeth marks slowly healed why leaving a crescent moon where he marked her.

Now that his mark symbol was on her no other demon or human could touch her. Little did he know that their would be a change with his pup now that he had marked Rin.
