Note: ok guys I just wanted to let you all know that this a inu/kagome fic so don’t worry! Im just showing you his past and you’ll be surprised how it all comes together. I actually really ahte kikyo so don’t worry, alls well that ends well!

CHAP 3
*PAST OF INU-CHAN*
2 teenage high school students walked to their classes, arm in arm. Their coming together, miraculous news all over the school. Even though it seemed like people should be happy for them, they weren’t. Infact, people hated Inuyasha even more. The girls were green with envy of Kikyo…doing what they couldn’t do. They hated her immensely for that. Did the 2 care? No, they didn’t care what people thought one little bit.
They had been together now for while. So happy, it seemed nothing could break them apart…and that’s exactly what they thought. They talked lovingly to each other while entering their class, and sat at their desks.
Kikyo smiled cutely at him. “So Inu-chan what you wanna do after school?”
He looked over at her. It just happened to be her birthday today. “THAT is surprise.” He said teasingly to her. She gave him puppy eyes “awww your so mean..” he just chuckled at her weak attempt and kissed her chastly.
“ok class time for school!” the teacher had to practically shout over the many voices of the chatting students.
The rest of the school day went on…

*after school*
after school the couple had gone to eat at a nice restaurant and were just getting out of it…
Inuyasha excorted Kikyo to his red BMW, opening the door for her like a gentlemen. He did it in a manner as if she was a princess. She smiled at him and giggled at his actions all through the drive.
“so…ready to tell me the big surprise?” she gave him those eyes again. He didn’t think he could resist much longer.
“weeell, I thought we might go to a drive in. what you think?” she looked at him skeptically. She wasn’t sure what to think of it but smiled anyways “of course!”
The drive to the ‘drive in’ was somewhat silent. Inuyasha new exactly what she was thinking, and oh was she in for it. He smiled smugly as they entered the place. Night had fallen by this time. Kikyo looked around the place confused. There was the big screen, the stars above, the trees surrounding it, and the huge parking lot…but no other cars. Had he brought them to a drive in that was closed. She looked over at him for answers. He just smiled motioned for her to look at the screen.
A video came on…it had Inuyasha in it! He was walking around the exact parking lot they now were parked in. he started to speak as he looked over at the camera…
“well your probably wondering why this place is so empty, because as you stated in your mind, drive ins include: a bunch of OTHER drivers, heh…but guess what? I bought this place out especially for you.”
Kikyo gasped at this, putting aside her iffy thoughts and continued to watch.
“you know why? Because…i-…I love you a lot.” Kikyo gasped once again, realizing that he had never reallysaid that before!...
“and it may seem kind of weird and all, how I’m saying this on a video and all…but I a sure you, you will be hearing those 3 words a lot more tonight….so, tell me what you wanna watch and its on.” The camera soon turned off after that.
The real Inuyasha awaited her answer beside her. She looked over at him,not seeming to care about the video, tears were in her eyes as she brought her face closer to his. He paused and looked into her eyes…and soon their lips came in contact. Passionate and innocent at first they kissed…but as she rapped her arms around him, he grew bolder for her. Tongues touched erratically as he put his hand on her bare back under her shirt.
She reluctantly, but forcefully pulled away from the kiss, only to look into his eyes with labored breathing. Words slowly formed. “I…I love you and…” she kissed him chastely, a blush covering her face. “and I want you to be-…to be my first.” Inuyasha looked at her, his shock hidden. He now realized that…it was all worth the wait, just for this 1 moment. “I love you too.” He said as his lips came crashing down on hers.
The movie forgotten, everything forgotten as no more civil words were said that wistful night.

*LATER ON THAT WEEK*
the couple walked to their class soundlessly. Ever since that night things had been somehow…different…well you would say ‘of course things would be different’ but, this was a different type of different…one of not knowing if it was positive…or negative. They didn’t act so much the same…as that once happy innocent couple.
No things were strange. Was it good?...or was it just a plain bad sign..

*FEW MONTHS LATER*
Inuyasha and kikyo’s relationship so far was not going so well. He would yell at her at times…he didn’t used to do this before. And she was keeping something from him and he new it. He could smell the constant fear and nervousness that reeked from her. What was she hiding?! It pissed him off to no end that his girl would hide things from him.
They drove home together from school still. And now was one of those times. There was so much tention in the ear it seemed a butter knife could cut it easily. He looked over at her constantly throught the silence. She tried to ignore it but…he finaly spoke up.
“your hiding something from me.”
More fear came from her sent as he continued.
“You’ve been for awhile and right now right here…I want to know what it is.”
She wanted to lie to him…she wanted to so badly but she new he wouldn’t go for it. There was no escaping this situation and it was her fault for keeping thigns form in the first place. She turned form him as she spoke.
“Inuyasha I’m…I’m pregnant.” Her words were so low that a normal human couldn’t here…but Inuyasha heard em all right. And he stopped the car fiercely. He turned to her in shock.
“WHAT?!”
she squeezed her eyes tightly as he yelled. “you heard me!” she decided to yell back.
He was speechless…he had no clue what to think of it. He didn’t want to think about it. Infact he was disgusted of it and he didn’t know why. He didn’t even realize why hadn’t smelt it on her before! …how did she hide it?!
She felt sick. Everything was just a big blurr. “I…” that’s all that left her mouth as she descended into a world of darkness. He just stared over at her in fear, His ears pinned back. What was he afraid of? Everything.
Her. The car. Himself. Himself especially because…he…
…no longer felt any love for her…
so he did something so cowardly, so not himself. He left her there…in the car and ran.
Ran as fast as he could. And it came to him. That’s all he ever was…he was a coward.
A lying…cowardly bastard.
He couldn’t face it. All he ever new how to do was…
…run.
