Chapter 4

“ Is this how you uphold your honor half-breed, by touching a human girl while she is sleeping?”

“Hi Sesshomaru. Umm what are you talking about?”, Kagome stated innocently she smiled until she noticed her friend under her.

“Um Inuyasha, what are you doing? Why am I on top of you? What is Sesshomaru talking about?”, Kagome said not really understanding what happened.

“ I….I um Kagome”, Inuyasha stated ashamed of what he had done and what he had allowed her to do.

“ Inuyasha, tasted you Kagome, I can smell your scent on his breath”, Sesshomaru stated angrily. His eyes flashing between his normal gold and blood red.

“No matter if she is a human, she has my respect and the respect of many other powerful demons, he will not defile her. She was the only one with the power to defeat Naraku. She has honor and the half-breed will not take that from her'

Flashback

“Naraku prepare to die”, Kagome said pointing and arrow straight at his heart”
There was no other way to say it other than Kagome was severely pissed.

She looked around and saw all of her friends on the ground including Inuyasha, they all had been hurt while trying to protect Kagome from Naraku. Naraku came for Kagome, he wanted her. He was planning to mate with her to have powerful offspring, half demon and half miko. He waited until she was alone and grabbed her while she was bathing in a hot spring. Inuyasha had come to try and stop him and succeeded in getting her out of Naraku's grasp only to be knocked out himself. Sango, Miroku, Shippo and Kirara also came to her aid but where seriously injured as well. Kikyo watched from a nearby bush, wanting to take out Naraku but not until she got her soul back. Not until he killed Kagome.

“So little miko, your powers are greater than I could have imagined. Our children will be very powerful indeed.”

“You will not have me Naraku, you will not live to see morning”, Kagome stated. Her aura wrapped around her and her hair swung around her wildly. She glowed pink and she stood there naked, beautiful, and fierce.
“Such big talk for such a small miko.”

Just then Sesshomaru came out of know where and sliced through Naraku with tokijin. Landing on the other side of the forest with Naraku in between him and the miko. He looked and sat all her friends on the ground.

So she is the last one standing out of the group

“ You will not kill him, miko. Naraku is my prey. Step back wench.”

Kagome looked at Sesshomaru with disgust and sadness as she fired and Arrow. The arrow exploded into the air and with a blast, turned into lightning and headed straight to Naraku and the now, almost complete Jewel shard. Naraku looked in shock and that was all the time he had before he exploded and the jewel purified then shattered.

“I told you he was mine. You will die bitch,” Sesshomaru said.

Sesshomaru leapt with his demon speed and grabbed her by the neck.

“Any last words before your tragic demise, bitch?”

“Please help Inuyasha and my friends, they'll die if you leave them here. Please take them to a safe place.”

Just then she touched the nub where his arm used to be and it glowed pink and grew back.

“Okay, Lord Sesshomaru, you may kill me now”

With that said she fainted. Not just because of all the power she just used but because he was choking her.

“This woman restored my arm and asked me to save her friends. What kind of human is she? She has confused this Sesshomaru.”

Sesshomaru didn't know whether to be upset or intrigued.

“ Hey ya bastard, put Kagome down”, Inuyasha said angrily.

“This Sesshomaru will not kill her it is beneath me to kill a human while sleeping. She has asked that you and your friends be placed under my care, since you are in my lands I will honor her wishes.”

It took a while for Inuyasha to accept this. but he did. Kagome and her friends were allowed to stay at the Castle of the Moon until they all recovered. When they got to the castle, every one was tended to. Everyone was happy that Naraku was dead, everyone except for Inuyasha. He could never be happy living so close to his brother. Kagome slept for three full days after they reached the castle and when she awoke Sesshomaru was there to great her.

“I trust you slept well Miko?”

Kagome was a little confused. Why was she here? Didn't he say that he was going to kill her? She thought that she should never look a gift Sesshomaru in the mouth and didn't ask any questions.

“Yes Sesshomaru-Sama, Thank you for helping me and my friends”, she stated that hoping they were here.

“Humph”, Sesshomaru stated as he attempted to walk out of the door that is until to small hands grabbed his waist from behind and he began to hear slow sobs.

“Miko why do u cry? Everyone is safe.”

“ Is he gone Sesshomaru? Please tell me he is gone. Did we get him this time?”

Sesshomaru pressed his arm against her a turned around facing her, he could see all the sadness in her face, he could smell it and that she was still weak from her sudden burst of power and needed to sleep more.

“ He is dead.”

Kagome cried tears of happiness into his shirt she felt safe being next to him and she really wanted to feel safe now.
Sesshomaru looked down at her while she clung to him. She was beautiful she didn't smell like normal humans, she smelled of new roses in spring, her body was very shapely and he could feel her nipples rise up and down against him as she cried.

Why does this human woman affect me so, she is indeed powerful but she isn't a demon. She should have no affect on me. I will find out why before she leaves my home.

While he might have thought that, his body was thinking something else and his member quickly stiffened. He had to get her off him, his mind told him but he could do nothing but embrace her. As he put his hand behind her back to close the small gap between their bodies that's when he noticed that the miko was naked, which he figured that she didn't mind because he had already seen her naked. However unless he let go her soon, he was going to find himself in a pretty compromising position. Possibly, a position with her under him screaming his name.


“You must go back to bed miko before my idiot of a brother finds you awake and then you will never get proper rest.”

“Will u stay here with me?” Kagome asked innocently

Sesshomaru's brain was yelling NO! But he ignored it.

“Yes, but I will only stay until you fall into sleep, after that I will take my leave”

“Thanks Sessho.”
“You will not refer to this Sesshomaru as such” Sesshomaru stated coldly as he picked the little Miko up bridal style and placed her shivering naked form in the bed.

“Awww,” she said playfully with her eyes closed snuggling up to him as he sat in the bed next to her.

“ Miko”

“Yes Sesshomaru-sama”

“Why did u heal my arm?”

“Because I could, you and Inuyasha should not fight in the first place and if I could help anyone I would, so I did.”

Sesshomaru was confused, why was she so forgiving and trusting. Was he not the one who had tried to kill her on several occasions? Yet she trusted him and felt protected by him obviously because she wanted him to stay with her. When she never felt him lay down beside her, after he finished taking off some layers of his kimono she asked;

“Will you not lie down in the bed”?

“ This Sesshomaru doesn't think that would be appropriate”

“Why not”, Kagome said innocently

Obviously she was so innocent that she didn't fully realize the implications. He stared at her for a moment and then thought to himself

“Just like Rin”

He sighed knowing he would lose this argument and he could already smell the salt that comes from tears. He lay back on the pillow next to her and she snuggled up to him, with them facing each other.

“Do you trust me not to take advantage of your body?”

“Yes Sesshomaru sama, you have too much honor.”

“You have honor to Miko. You may drop the title and refer to me as Sesshomaru from now on.”

Kagome giggled and drifted off to sleep. Instead of leaving like he was supposed to, he stayed and watched her sleep. She was the most confusing being on this earth, one minute she single handedly took down one of the most powerful demons, next she was curling up to you like an infant. Yes he would get to know this girl. Know everything about her.


End of Flashback

“Inuyasha draw your sword. I will kill you.”

“ Sesshomaru please what are y….” Kagome trailed off when she noticed the wetness in her panties she quickly leaped off of Inuyasha, thinking it was her period.

“It's a little early,” Kagome stated out loud.

“You have not approached your cycle, the moisture you feel is what Inuyasha did to you.”

Sesshomaru was starting to transform until Kagome look at him and silently pleaded for him to stop.

“You and your friends will be accompanying me to my castle, Inuyasha you are to come nowhere near me until I resolve my matters with Kagome.”

“What the fuck are you talking about Sesshomaru? I didn't hurt her, she seduced me, I didn't want to.” Inuyasha said quickly before he could realize what he was saying. He had placed his foot firmly in his mouth.

Sesshomaru smirked.

Kagome wasn't sure what happened but she had a clue.

“Well then Inuyasha since you don't want me around I guess I should leave with Sesshomaru. Tell the others where I have gone and that they are free to follow”, Kagome stated as she walked toward Sesshomaru.

“Hey wait a minute you wench, after all I've d…”

“ Sit boy.”

Inuyasha was in the ground.

Kagome got on to Sesshomaru's back and with a blink of and eye they were gone.
In the dark of the bushes next to Kikyo a sinister voice said;

“Kukuku, so it seems Inuyasha has been left for his older brother. No matter. Neither one of them will claim her. The Miko is mine.”
