Kagome's Tears

“Hey Eri wait up.” Riyo called after Kagome’s friend, on Monday, after school.
“Oh, hello Riyo!” She replied.
“Have you seen Kagome, I haven’t seen her all day.”
“She’s probably sick again.”
“Oh. Ok, thank you.”
With that said, Riyo ran down the hallway and through the front doors.

Riyo stopped in front of the Higurashi shrine, dismounted the bike, and started running up the stairs. When he reached the top, he approached and old man he assumes is Kagome’s grandfather.
“Um Mr. Higurashi?” He asked.
The old man turned around, and said “Young man, would you be interested in a Sacred Jewel key chain?”
“Um, no thank you, but may I ask where Kagome is?”
“Kagome is sick with ma…”
Just then Kagome came running out of the shrine, and into the house.
“Kagome! Wait up! What’s wrong?”
Kagome didn’t stop and just kept running into the house.
Riyo ran to the door, while apologizing to Kagome’s grandfather.
When he got to the door and knocked, Kagome’s mother opened the door and said “You must be Riyo! Kagome has told me a lot about you. Please come, in Kagome is upstairs in her room, it’s the one on the left.”
“Uh, thank you.”
After saying that, Riyo ran up the stairs with a speed and grace Kagome’s mother had only seen in one other person.
“Kagome, it’s me Riyo what’s wrong?”
On the other side of the door
‘That two timing prick why doesn’t he just go to hell with her so I can be left alone.’ Just then Kagome heard a voice from the other side of the door “Kagome it’s me Riyo what’s Wrong?” ‘Riyo? But what’s he doing here?’ After weighing the consequences of letting him in, Kagome got up and unlocked the door, then went back to the bed. After a minute Riyo opens the door quietly and closes it just as quietly. After sitting down on the floor by Kagome’s bed he asks “Do you want to tell me what’s wrong?”
“I do, but you probably won’t understand.”
“Try me.”
“Promise you won’t tell anyone or think I’m crazy?”
“I swear on my grandfathers ashes that I, Riyo will not utter a word of what is spoken in this room, and will not think that Kagome is crazy.”
‘Ok. that was a little too…wait a minute isn’t that something Sessomaru would say? Naw he wouldn’t say anything of the sort it wouldn’t be like him.’
“Is that better Kagome?”
“What’s with being so formal?”
“It’s a Takanaga thing.”
“Alright then.”
