Chapter 4: New ally?

And then the moment came, Sesshomaru sunk his teeth into the flesh below him making Inuyasha cry out with a mix of pain and pleasure. He stayed there for a moment letting the metallic taste of Inuyasha’s blood fill his mouth before bighting down harder signaling for Inuyasha to do the same.

Inuyasha didn’t bight nearly as hard as Sesshomaru did but still managed to get blood inside his mouth.

Both of them stayed like until Inuyasha sneezed grossing out Sesshomaru who he sneezed on. (A/n: Ha ha ha I made you all wait for that. ^_^ I am totally evil)

“Disgusting half breed” Sesshomaru commented after pulling his fangs from Inuyasha and making the younger sibling wince.

“I can’t help it you smell like sun flowers and I am allergic to them” Inuyasha snapped back, he may have seemed angry but Sesshomaru noticed his cheeks were tinted red and felt embarrassment and hurt coming from his new mate.

A silence fell between the two brothers, as the older brother studied his younger brother he was straddling (?), and the younger tried to figure out what the hell he was feeling.

Inuyasha always hated Sesshomaru for acting better then him just because he was a full demon and he wasn’t… But then again hate might have been too strong of word, if Inuyasha truly hated Sesshomaru why did he feel hurt when Sesshomaru called him a half breed or insulted him when he should not have cared?

The older demon always said cruel things to Inuyasha, but no matter how many years went by the words always hurt the same. Why was the question, but who knew? Maybe since they were mated Inuyasha could finally get closer to his brother.

As he grew up Inuyasha couldn’t help but want to be closer to his mysterious brother, it wasn’t until Sesshomaru and him had the argument about becoming human did Inuyasha give up his hopes of ever doing so.

But here the two of them were, close as they could possibly get right? After all they were mates, and maybe Sesshomaru would open up some and Inuyasha could get to know him.

As Inuyasha thought this he felt himself get excited, if he and his brother became close Inuyasha could learn so many different fighting skills. Like that whip thing Sesshomaru is always using or poison claws.

“I shall be taking my leave” Sesshomaru said tearing Inuyasha out of his thoughts. The full demon would never admit it but he was uncomfortable with Inuyasha getting excited about him which must have been what the half breed was thinking about.

“What? You can’t leave!” Inuyasha yelled as his brother climbed off him and turned towards the door.

A wave of dizziness caught Inuyasha as he stood up to go after his brother who had reached the wooden door causing him to fall back down again with a thud.

Sesshomaru stopped and turned his head slightly to see his brother struggling to stand up once more again. The full demon knew it was a useless effort, Inuyasha would be feeling fatigued for an entire month unless near Sesshomaru.

But if Sesshomaru was near Inuyasha he would want to bed his brother, so the two had to stay away from each other for an entire month.

Kagome and the others waited outside the hut, Shippo was playing with his toys, Miroku was poking the fire with a stick, and Kagome was trying to do her homework near the firelight but it was no use since she couldn’t concentrate.

Shippo’s head shot up at the sound of a twig being snapped, and Miroku stood up quickly staff in hand.

“Hi guys” Sango’s voice rang out, the demon slayer stepped out of the bushes with a miniature Kirara and a handsome man at her side.

Kagome thought the mans robes looked a lot like Miroku’s only the strangers robed were dark blue instead of black and purple.

The stranger looked like he was in his late 20’s and had smooth tanned skin that looked soft to touch. His hair was short and messy and the black locks framed his perfect face.

“This is Ichi he is an old friend of mine” Sango said and began introducing the man to everyone in the group, only until the demon slayer got to Inuyasha did she notice he was not there.

“Where is Inuyasha at?” Sango asked and glanced up towards the sky, it wasn’t a new moon for a few more days so Inuyasha should not be hiding in the hut.

“You have missed a lot Sango” Miroku said and looked towards the hut, the look of concern passing through the monks eyes did not go unnoticed by the demon slayer.

“Is Inuyasha hurt?” Miroku turned his gaze towards the distressed girl.

“Not quite…”

“Bastard don’t just stand there and watch me fall on my ass, help me up!” The half demon yelled after once AGAIN falling onto the ground.

“Damnit” Inuyasha muttered and grabbed his throat which was bleeding now from him yelling which tore the tissue inside.

Sesshomaru’s lips twitched upwards into an almost smile at the sight of his brother so weak and frustrated, but frowned when he smelt the blood again.

“Have your females make you tea or something else warm to drink” Inuyasha’s head shot up in shock, Sesshomaru actually said something nice. Well sort of nice, Inuyasha had a suspicion that it was as good as it was going to get.

Before Inuyasha could utter another word Sesshomaru was out the door and another wave of dizziness came over him, but that didn’t stop him from struggling to his feet and slowly walking to the door.

Everyone stared at each other then back at Sesshomaru who had just came out of the hut, the demon lord looked straight ahead not saying a word or sparing a glance at the humans who stood next to the fire.

Soon as the silver haired demon disappeared Inuyasha came stumbling through the hut door yelling profanities at Sesshomaru.

“Bastard, get back here so I can kick your ass!” Inuyasha yelled only to loose his balance and fall flat on his face.

“Inuyasha” Kagome cried and ran towards the fallen half demon, when she flipped Inuyasha over she was surprised to see that the silver haired teen was fast asleep.

“The baka passed out” Kagome sighed and Miroku hit Shippo on the head for saying such a mean thing.

“What was that for? Its true he did pass out!” Shippo cried in his defense and went on crying until Miroku left him alone.

Three days had passed since Sesshomaru claimed his mate, he could sense Inuyasha was still exhausted and still sleeping so his body would heal faster. It was a pointless effort since Inuyasha would be weak for an entire month and no amount of sleeping could fix that.

But why was Sesshomaru thinking about the half breed who had it lucky compared to him who had to deal with being exhausted and aroused. The demon lord didn’t tell Jaken or Rin that he had been going to expensive brothels at night to help his arousal, not that they dared to ask where their lord went off to at night. (A/n: He spends all night at brothels, and stays up all day because of his duties thats why he is exhausted)

The two did know about Sesshomaru claiming Inuyasha, after all dog demons had to mark their mates in a visible place and Sesshomaru could not hide his mark behind his hair forever.

Only a few things concerned the demon lord though; one was that while sleeping with a beautiful demon whore, Sesshomaru would find himself imaging it was Inuyasha moaning in pleasure which confused and irritated him.

Confused him because he was sleeping with a woman and not some half breed that was slightly attractive, and irritated him because it confused him.

The second thing had nothing to do with his mate but was equally disturbing; it was the fact that everything was silent. No enemies to fight, no problems with his lands, no nothing.

‘Calm before the storm’ A voice in the back of Sesshomaru’s head whispered, and the demon lord had to agree. Something was up, maybe Naraku was planning something, or an all new threat was about to come into power.

‘If that is the case Inuyasha will be defenseless’ The same voice pointed out but this time Sesshomaru had to disagree. His half breed brother had humans that could protect him

‘But that is your duty not theirs’ Sesshomaru remained opinion-less at this statement. The demon lord merely staired at his new arm that grew back last night and thought things over.

“Inuyasha you lazy bum” Shippo yelled hopping up and down around Inuyasha who was up until now sleeping on Kirara’s back.

“Huh?” Inuyasha said his voice slurred from sleeping so long. Golden eyes slowly cracked opened and took in the surroundings.

He was on Kirara’s back; it looked like the gang decided to keep traveling even though Inuyasha was out.

Small clouds of dirt rose from the dirt road making Inuyasha sneeze and getting the attention of his human companions. Shippo stopped yelling and stared in shock as Inuyasha sat up.

“I didn’t mean it Inuyasha!” Shippo cried and backed away from the half demon that was blinking stupidly trying to erase all the sleep from his mind.

“You’re awake!” Kagome cried and dropped her bike she was steering.

“How do you feel Inuyasha?” Miroku asked and studied Inuyasha closely.

“Like crap now back off, your lucky I am too sore to hit you” Inuyasha snapped making Miroku smirk and ruffle up his silver hair.

“Bastard!” The half demon growled and tried to tackle the monk only to fail miserably and land on the dirt road.

“Ow”

Sango and Miroku laughed while Kagome just smiled with Shippo, and even though his friends were laughing at him Inuyasha was happy to see them smile it almost made falling on the ground worth it.

“If your muscles are sore I have an ointment that will help” a familier voice said from behind Sango. The demon slayer moved aside so Inuyasha could see the man the voice came from.

Pure fear filled Inuyasha at the sight of a scar-less Hoshi in dark blue robes that resembled a monk’s.

Sesshomaru smiled inwardly at the feeling of Inuyasha’s happiness, so his little brother could be happy after all. If anyone asked why Sesshomaru felt happy at the feeling of someone else being happy he could truly answer that he didn’t know

But a frown was placed on Sesshomaru’s thin lips as the demon lord stopped in his tracks. Inuyasha’s feeling of happiness was replaced with fear.

“M’lord?” Rin small voice broke the peaceful silence that surrounded the three.

“I am going to check on Inuyasha” Sesshomaru said in a tone that was not to be questioned.

“Of coarse my lord, but can we come?” Rin asked using her puppy dog eyes to try to get the answer she wanted.

“No, Jaken watch her” Sesshomaru disappeared before Rin’s face could even fall to show her disappointment.

Inuyasha was beyond pissed, he never felt so angry before. He stayed silent as Sango explained how she knew Hoshi, or should Inuyasha say Ichi.

It was good Inuyasha didn’t freak out when he first saw the human, other wise his already low pride would disappear forever.

Then after a few questions and answers everyone one in the group was satisfied, well Inuyasha was still pissed.

He didn’t want the Hoshi-look-a-like traveling with him even if it was only to the next town, though there was no way Ichi could be Hoshi Inuyasha didn’t trust him.

“What do you want itchy” Inuyasha growled, he was once again stuck riding on Kirara since he wasn’t strong enough to walk far. And now the annoying look-a-like was walking next to him smiling like nothing was wrong.

“Its Ichi” the man said stiffly before changing his tone to a kinder one “My offer still stands on the massage”

Inuyasha’s eyebrow rose “When did giving me ointment turn into a massage?”

Ichi shrugged “Well if you don’t want it…” he trailed off.

“Inuyasha say thank you and that you will be more than happy to accept the massage from Ichi” Kagome snapped and glared daggers at the half demon.

“What?! No way in hell” Inuyasha yelled, mentally thankful that his throat was no longer hurting.

“You have been doing nothing but complain about riding Kirara for the last two hours, you WILL take Ichi offer because it WILL help you heal faster so you DON’T have to ride Kirara. Got It.” It was more of an order then a question, an order that Inuyasha feared but had to obey because the half demon was pretty sure the future girl’s eyes were turning red.

“Fine” Inuyasha mumbled and looked down at the white furred demon he was sitting on.

“Good we will stop at the next hot spring which is near by, so everyone can get a bath while Ichi gives you a massage”

Inuyasha wanted to argue, he wanted to scream actually that he didn’t want to be alone with the human but his voice would have not made a difference so with a heavy sigh Inuyasha remained quiet.

(Time Passing)

“Yell if you need anything we wont be far off” Kagome said cheerfully and walked to the hot springs with Sango and Shippo. Inuyasha would have been happy if Miroku stayed but the damn pervert monk managed to escape Inuyasha’s eye sight to go spy on the girls.

“Ok Inuyasha, take off your shirt and lay down” Ichi ordered in a calm voice. Inuyasha eyed the sleeping bag with distrust but none the less did as he was told. He really didn’t have the strength to argue anyways, plus there was no scent of arousal coming from the human when he took off his fire rat shirt.

“It might be uncomfortable at first but I promise it will begin to feel good” Inuyasha growled in the pillow his face was buried in. He didnt have much of a choice but to trust Hos-Ichi, and if the human did try anything Inuyasha could just yell for help now that his throat was healed.

A very heavy sent came from the ointment Ichi was practically poring on Inuyasha's back that caught him off guard.

It was a very strange scent, nothing like Inuyasha smelt before. It quickly overwhelmed Inuyasha’s sensitive nose and slowly the half demon felt his eye lids grow heavy has Ichi began kneading his back.

Inuyasha began zoning out despite how hard he tried to stay focused. But it became to the point that Inuyasha could only feel his heart beating steadily even though it should have been beating fast from being near the Hoshi-look-a-like and the lovely soft hands on his back. Inuyasha didnt even know he was making soft mews and moans of pleasure.

Sesshomaru was confused at the sudden feeling change in Inuyasha; it went from defensive to relaxed.

As the demon lord got closer to were his mate was a strong scent assaulted his nose. It was herbs that much was for sure, but Sesshomaru couldn’t place what type of herbs would make such a smell. It wasn’t unpleasant at all but it certainly was different.

If the demon lord was not so determined to get to his mate he might have actually stopped and smelt the strange smell to try and figure out what it was, but at the sound of hearing his mate moan he became furious. (Why he would be mad is a mystery) The demon lord quickened his pace and came to the camp Inuyasha was at.

“Inuyasha what do y-” Sesshomaru stopped in the middle of his sentence mostly due to shock at seeing the man who tried to rape Inuyasha giving his mate a massage.

“Hello” The human said and pulled his hands away from Inuyasha causing Sesshomaru's mate to whimper for more. “You’re his brother right? Uh, it was Sesshomaru if I am correct?”

Sesshomaru showed no signs that he heard the human and turned his gaze to his younger brother. Inuyasha’s head was to the side on the pillow giving clear view of his face and how dilated his eyes were.

“Inuyasha?” No response, the half demon just stared ahead. It became clear to the demon lord what the smell was, it was the light pink ointment the human was rubbing on his younger brother, it must have been a relaxing drug that made Inuyasha into a vegetable.

“Disgusting human” Sesshomaru drew his sword, the human (Sesshomaru knew it wasn’t Hoshi because this human had no scars, but Sesshomru didnt care) stared wide eyed at Sesshomaru.

“You will die for touching my mate” The demon lord raised his sword to strike the terrified human when an arrow came from behind a tree and knocked his sword out of his hand.

"Ichi are you all right?” Sango’s voice asked, Kagome was at her side with her bow. The human females were still wet from there bath and look as if it was sweat on them instead of water.

“Whoa what’s that smell?” the fox child asked and covered his nose; Sesshomaru noticed that the child’s eyes were also becoming dilated even without touching the ointment.

“What smell?” The monk asked stepping from the tree’s, the monk had two hand shaped bruises on his face no doubt from the women.

“I, I don’t know what it is” Shippo's eyes drooped "but I think, I, want, a...nap" The fox demon slowly sunk to the ground with light snores coming from him.

“Sesshomaru what have you done?” Sango asked immediately accusing the only demon left, she like everyone else turned their shocked gaze from Shippo to the silver haired demon.

“It is not I who am drugging everyone, but this human” An icy glare was shot at the Hoshi-look-a-like.

“What do you mean? The ointment only relaxes someone not drug them” The human said looking from Sango to Sesshomaru.

“For humans, but while the ointment might be scentless to humans, demons can smell it causing those with no tolerance to pass out” Sesshomaru explained and watched as a realization look passed on all of the humans faces.

“But Kirara…” Kagome trailed off and looked behind her

“She fell asleep with out warning also” Miroku mumbled earning a slap from Sango.

“Pervert monk, how long were you watching us?” The monk held his hands in front of him and grinned but didn’t answer the question.

“Inuyasha looks like he is awake” Kagome pointed out and look a step to get closer to the half demon, but Sesshomaru also took a step forward and flexed his claws that were glowing green.

“You call Inuyasha your friend yet you leave him alone to get drugged by a man who looks like his attempted rapist,” The humans eyes widened with shock “so until this man leaves your party I will not leave.” the demon lord finished.

Sesshomaru really didn’t know what made him say that he was going to stay, and the demon lord was never one to blame his decisions on others but today he decided to blame Inuyasha’s human friends for being so dim witted.

…And the voice in the back of his head that told him to stay and protect his mate
