Chapter four


Inuyasha glared back at Kagome giving her a smirk. She just looked at him and smirked back before turning her head and facing the other people to wave. Inuyasha looked beside her at her father. ' Weren't my father and him friends?' Inuyasha thought forming an idea.

Once Kagome and her father left the stage Inuyasha walked up to them. Inuyasha walked up to Kagome's father and held out his hand for a shake. " King Higurashi, its been a long time since I last seen you. Its me Prince Inuyasha of the West." Inuyasha said as the King shook Inuyasha's hand. " Yes, I remember you. I think the last time I saw you, I think you were knee high. How have you and your family been my boy?" King Richard asked.

" Father has been doing fine and so has my mother. Sesshomaru, however still has not found a way to take his head out of his ass." Inuyasha said joking with King Richard. King Richard laughed and put his arm around Inuyasha's shoulder. " My boy, I've sure missed those jokes of yours. Come now, Have you met my daughter Kagome?" King Richard asked.

Inuyasha just wanted to laugh at Kagome's face when she turned around to see her father and Inuyasha together. Kagome knew that glint in her father's eyes and knew what her father was up to.

Inuyasha nodded his head " Yes, I have met Princess Kagome. We met a few minutes ago at the food table. Didn't we Kagome?" Inuyasha asked with that smirk Kagome started to hate.

Kagome put on a fake smirk, but Inuyasha could still see that evil glint in Kagome's eyes. " Yes, indeed I have father. He is such a gentleman, Inuaysha here.


" Well, how about you two get to know each other better? The two of you might make a good couple." King Richard said pushing the two together. " "The two of you play nice while I go and find your father Inuyasha." The King said walking off.

As soon as the King left Inuyasha heard Kagome growl. He turned to face her and saw her glaring at him with crossed arms. Her eyes held fire within and her lips were shined with gloss holding a smirk much like Inuyasha's.

" I see, you think your smart Inuyasha. Make friends with the father to get the girl. Is that your motive? I told you that I didn't want you Inuyasha. You couldn't handle a bitch like me." Kagome said looking Inuyasha up and down then walked off.

Inuyasha watched her leave and just growled. He stomped past the crowd and found Kagome by a wall. Next thing Kagome knew she was push against a wall with her hands held in a tight grip above her head. She opened her eyes to see Inuyasha up against her body snarling at her. She thought that somebody would see them and stop him, but they were in the shadows of the ballroom and nobody could see them unless they got a good look.

" Let me go bastard." Kagome snarled at Inuyasha.

" I ain't letting you go bitch. You need to learn your place and stop acting like your better then everyone." Inuyasha whispered in her ear. Kagome could feel his hot breath right up beside it.

" I'm not better then everyone, just you. I don't need to be some bitch to some ass that don't even know how to wash his own ass. You tell me to learn my place, I ain't some low wench that you can push around. Instead of me learning my place, you need to learn yours." Kagome whispered in a deadly voice.

" My place, my place is inbetween your legs fucking you until you know your masters name, which is mine. Your going to learn that bitch. It might take some time, but you her ear lobe. He moved his tounge around her ear and started to kiss down her neck. Kagome held back the moan in the back of her throat. " Let me go." Kagome whispered and gasped as Inuyasha started sucking on Kagome's neck and leaving a mark along her neck.

Inuyasha chuckled and slowly and let her go. " Go back to your daddy until I come for you. We will get to know each other real soon." Inuyasha said before walking off.

Kagome just leaned against the wall and watched Inuyasha leave. She wasn't going to lie to herself. The way Inuyasha pushed her against the wall and whispered those things in her ear actually turned her on. He wasn't like the other guys she been with. He was different and she liked that, but she didn't want him to know. Kagome straightened her outfit trying to hide the mark on her neck from the other people and started to walk around the party and try and stay away from Inuyasha for the rest of the night.



Rin on the other hand felt alone. Both her sisters left her and poor Rin was stuck by herself wondering around the party. Not looking where she was going she walked straight into a hard body. She waited for the hard floor to come, but it never did. She felt strong arms go around her waist and pull her body up against a hard muscular one.

Rin opened her eyes to see golden orbs that looked stone cold, but she could tell they were holding much more inside. She felt like she wanted to get past the cold barrier and see what was really inside those eyes.

" Are you okay?" She heard a husky voice ask her. Rin shuddered at hearing the strangers breath up against her neck. " Uh...I think so." Rin said to the unknown stranger.

She parted from his body but not wanting to. She finally got a good view of her hero of the day. He was tall with long silver hair. He had what looked like a dark purple moon on the top of his forhead and a lighter pair of purple stripes along his upper cheeks. He smilled at the young girl and showed off his fangs.

Rin blushed and smilled back. " Thank you for catching me. I'm sorry about bumping into you, I guess I wasn't watching where I was going." Rin said.

" Don't be sorry, I'm Sesshomaru. I'm Prince of the West and I think I know you. Your one of the Southern Kings daughters. Am I right?" Sesshomaru asked.

Rin nodded her head and giggled. " I'm Rin, its nice to meet you Lord Sesshomaru."

" Its nice to meet you. How about we go for a walk and talk. I noticed that you were all by yourself and I wouldn't mind keeping you company." Sesshomaru asked trying to be nice to the young girl. Something about her just made him be nice. He couldn't help it.

" That would be nice." Rin said taking Sesshomaru's arm and the two walked outside along the Gardens.


Kagome and Sango were standing their father. Both trying to stay far away from the two gentleman they just met only hours ago. Sango was hiding to keep Miroku from groping her. Kagome on the other hand was trying to stay far away from Inuyasha. She did see him standing across the room with Miroku. He was watching her with a smirk. Without her father looking she flipped him off. She watched as he mouth the words
" When?" Kagome just growled and turned her head from him.

Miroku was on the other side of the room smirking at Sango and waving at her every now and then. Sango just rolled her eyes at the perverted fool. " I swear he is nothing but a pain." Sango told Kagome.

Kagome smirked " He might be a pain, but your sure liking him a lot." Kagome said to Sango.

" I do not, I just met the guy." Sango blushed.

" That don't mean a thing." Kagome laughed at Sango's face.

" Fine, if I like Miroku then you like Inuyasha." Sango said crossing her arms.

" Me and that asshole? He wishes." Kagome said crossing her arms as well. Both girls just looked straight at the men infront of them across the room.

Rin and Sesshomaru talked for hours before coming to a stop right outside the door connecting the ballroom to the Garden area. Rin was enjoying the company of Sesshomaru.

" So, you live with your father, step mother, and half brother. Thats sounds nice, but it is still funny that you and your brother don't get along. Me and my sisters get along fine and we arn't really even sisters by blood, but we just feel that way." Rin said.

Sesshomaru smirked. " But you don't have to live with that asshole."


A gust of wind flew past the couple and Rin snuggled up to Sesshomaru for warmth. " Come on and lets go inside before you catch a cold." Sesshomaru said taking Rin inside.

The party was about over and mostly everybody had left already for home. King Richard has already asked the Tackashie's over again and Inutaisho already accepted. The guys couldn't wait to see the ladies and only one lucky lady couldn't wait to see one guy. The next day would soon bring the group back together again.

A/N: Thats chapter four everybody. For the next week or so I won't be able to update since I won't be home. I have to stay with somebody who doesn't have a computer and I'm so sorry for that. Its a family thing about my mother to see if she can have a transplant so I'm going to go stay with my aunt. I won't stop my story, I'm going to keep on doing it. I should have the next chapter up by the 23 or 24 of November. I might update tomorrow, but I'm not sure. Thursday and Friday I will be very busy and Sat. is when I'm leaving to stay with my aunt. Well, anyways please review and tell me what you think so far.
