Chapter 4
Hello Everybody
This is inuchanpuppy a.k.a Miyuki,
The story shall be continued from henceforth by me as a tribute to Rogue Silver, a good person and a great writer, who passed away a few days ago in a car crash. This story is originally Rogue Silver’s idea, from the beginning till the end. I had simply offered to complete what she started and to give her ideas, words.
The comments that you all have written are greatly appreciated by her family (Her sister Monique and her cousin). They are grateful that people cared about her and her memory will be remembered as author, reader, and reviewer and they have thanked you all your support in their time of need. They wish you all a wonderful life and to say the words “I love you” to the ones you love.

Chapter 3
~*~Some Hours Before~*~
Kagome landed softly on the ground as the mystical blue light faded, indicating she had returned to her own time. ‘How could he expect me to stay with him, I’m still in high school for Kami’s sake’ she thought climbing the rope ladder out of the old well.
‘Hmph, he’s only thinking of himself’ she reasoned. Shifting the yellow bag on her shoulder, she walked out of the mini-shrine, only to get hit in the head with a flying soccer ball.
“Ooof!” she squeaked, as she landed on her ass in the mud.
“Souta!!!” she growled brushing her uniform, trying to get some of the mud off. Souta walked over to his sister after retrieving his ball “Sis you’re back, is Inuyasha coming back to get you soon?” he asked. Kagome just grabbed her yellow bag off the ground and stomped off.
“Inuyasha can go burn in hell for all I care!”

Once inside Kagome offered a quick greeting to her mother and ran upstairs to her room to collapse on the bad and scream all her frustrations in the pillow. After a few minutes she sat up and swung her legs over the side of the bed.
‘Maybe I shouldn’t have been hard on him like that’ she thought, while fingering the jewel around her neck. ‘I shouldn’t have made him choose between my time and his’
‘He made you choose between his and yours’ her mind argued. ‘But-’ she started. ‘No’ her mind interrupted ‘If he really wanted, no if he really loved you he would have came with you’ Kagome smiled “You’re right I can’t be worrying about this, if he loved me he would have came after me.”
“Kagome, you have a visitor” she heard her mom call from downstairs. “Coming” she called back. Walking down the stairs she spotted the familiar black uniform from her school.
“Hojou? What are you doing here?” she wondered. It was almost 9:30 at night. “Oh Higurashii- san…Niwa-kun and Kaitou-san said that you were feeling much better and I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tomorrow? Since there’s no school,” he asked twiddling his thumbs in a nervous manner.
Kagome giggled at the shy attitude of the schoolboy “I can-” she said. ‘No this is your chance at getting back at Inuyasha, go out with him and when Inuyasha sees you two, he’ll beg you to let him be with you’ her mind interfered. Kagome smirked ‘Plan A didn’t work, so why not have a plan B’
“Sure. I can go out with you tomorrow Hojou” she smiled.
“Great!” he said a big smile stretching across his face. “I’ll pick you up at noon tomorrow” he called, running off waving. Kagome waved back and shut the door.
With that she ran upstairs and headed to the bathroom, grabbing a towel on her way for a quick shower and then bed.
‘Yup this plan is full proof’

The next day Kagome awoke to the sounds of the birds chirping outside and the bright sunlight filtering through her window. ‘What a beautiful day’ with that thought she pulled back the covers and jumped out of bed. “11: 30! Oh no I overslept!” she exclaimed looking at the clock. “Hojou’s going to be here in thirty minutes!”
Running out the small room and into the bathroom Kagome took a five minute shower and came running back into her room grabbing a pair of black capris and a black ‘bebe’ shirt from her closet. It took her nearly ten minutes to get dressed and dry her hair. Five minutes later the doorbell rang and like he had promised Hojou arrived at 12:00, flowers included.
“Kagome your friend’s here!” her mother called while ushering the young ebony-haired boy in. For a pansy he was dressed pretty nice. Tan slacks and a light blue short-sleeved, collard shirt with a pink sweater tied in the middle of his chest. Soon Kagome walked down the steps and would have been gracefully if she hadn’t stumbled over her own feet and fell the rest of the way.
“Kagome are you alright?” asked Hojou afterwards. Kagome looked up at him with swirls in her eyes. “Yeah just fine.” she responded. “Do you need to rest? I can always come back later.”
Suddenly her eyes returned back to normal “No!” she quickly exclaimed standing up. “No, really I’m fine, let’s just go.” Hojou seemed kind of hesitant to do so, but took her word for it.
‘That was a close one’ her mind thought. “Oh here” he said handing her the flowers he bought on the way to the shrine. “Oh Hojou, they’re beautiful” she gasped. “Mama can put these in water for me?” Her mother nodded taking the flowers and waved them off as they walked out of the house.
“Bye Mama! I’ll be home soon”

~*~*~*~*~*~Hour Later~*~*~*~*~*~
“Damn travelling down that well is such a bitch,” commented Inuyasha, jumping out of the said thing. Poking his head out the mini-shrine doors he made sure the coast was clear. Once he was positive that no one was here or coming (A/N: hehe “coming”) he bounded his way toward the Goshinboku. “Damn she isn’t here!” he cursed as slid the bedroom window open and climbed in.
He was just about to climb out when the door opened…

“Here you go,” said Souta as he handed the hanyou some Ramen. (Mmmm…Ramen *starts drooling*) “Kagome’s not here”
Inuyasha snorted “I figured out that much, so where is she at?” he asked with his mouth full of noodles.
“Mama told me she went out with that guy from her school Hobo…Hofo…oh yeah, Hojou” answered Souta. “Hey Inuyasha?”
“What?” Souta looked his hero in the eye. “Did something happen between you and my sister in the past?” Inuyasha nearly choked “I mean when she came back she was pretty pissed at you for something.”
Inuyasha shook his head “Nothing happened” Souta looked sceptical about his answer, but let it go.
The rest of the meal was rather silent, with Souta giving Inuyasha strange looks, which the hanyou promptly ignored. When finished Inuyasha stood up, a hard look on his face, “I am leaving” He announced.
“But Inuyasha, why can’t you stay? She’ll be back soon, till then you can crash here in the living room. I’ll even teach you how to play the new video game I bought yesterday.” Souta offered suggestively.
“No, I have to go back” he answered stubbornly.
“But what I tell her when she gets back, she is sure going to be angry that you left without meeting her.” Souta argued.
“You don’t have to tell her that I was here” Was the simple answer. “I’ll be back tomorrow.”
With that he made his way out of the house, closing the door behind him.
