Bleeding Tears of the Past

The moon was blocked out by deep green clouds; a common factor within the evil aura. The court yard seemed green as well, picking up the color from the sky. The once vibrant, green leaves had fallen off the tree, wilted away within the vile barrior that surrounded the castle and the land around it.

In a whisp of smoke a form appeared, quickly taking the form of a female. A long skirt draped down her legs, and an armor top was pulled tightly around her form. A grin formed on her face as she proceeded to the castle, pushing aside the reed door, "I'm home!" she called in a sing songey voice, apparently not afraid of whatever lurked within the evil.

"Good to see you back, Tikovru." came a voice from the shadows, silouhetted against a drape. Tikovru quickly darted behind the curtain kneeling next to the evil honyou behind it, "Oh, come on! Don't be so grouchy." she said in a pouty voice, "After all, I did as you asked; ulinke Kagura." she said, eyeing the said incarnation suspiciously from the corner of her eye. "I injured the Miko girl and came close to tearing the group apart. But it seems their too closely knit together." she said, pouting.

Narku merely nodded, "You acheived what I asked of you." he stated simply, showing no compassion or emotion in his voice. "Well, fine then! I'm going to sleep then." Tikovru's voice was indignant as she rose from her position, flipped her hair sarcastically and stalked away. "Wench." came Kagura's voice from the shadows, and Naraku sent her a death glare, "She is my wife, leave her be...."

Kagome, Sango, and Inuyasha returned from the hot springs quickly, the girls being uncomfortable with the honyou being so close. "I can't see why you could have just left for a few more minutes so we could atually [i]enjoy[/i] the bath?" Kagome sounded exhasperated, stalking behind the demi-demon, still ringing out her hair. "Feh." with that Inuyasha quickened his pace, moving farther ahead of the group.

"Man, why's he so grumpy?" the school girl asked, her brown eyes looking ahead of them to the disgruntled honyou. "To tell you the truth, I really don't know." Sango stated, quite surprised that neither knew the reason for his foul attitude, "Eh. He's always grumpy!" Kagome called, waving her hand at him in a dismissive manner.

Inuyasha's ear twitched from his spot ahead of them, 'I am [b]NOT[/b] always grumpy!' he thought, grumbling about something. With a quick sigh he relize that it was true; he had been annoyed at something since he had confessed to Kagome his love... 'I can;t beleive I did that!' he chided himself, 'Just letting her cry would have worked better....' he thought, his eyes narrowing slightly. 'No... I know what I did was right..." he shook his head, dimising the thoughts and slowing his pace; the mortal girls would soon be left behind if he continued walking so quickly!

"He really does care for you, you know." Sango stated, grinning as the honyou stopped so they could catch up. The moonlight made his hair seem almost reflective and out of the corner of her eye she could see Kagome staring at him Without warning, Kagome quickened her pace, coming up beside Inuyasha, grasping his hand firmly between hers, squeezing gently. She was glad to see a gentle pink tone cross his features. "Your so childish." she stated, swinging his arm gently.

'Their so cure together." Sango thoght, watching as the newly formed couple walked, hand-in-hand. A small giggle escaped her throat and she was almost sure she saw Inuyasha's ear twitch back towards her, 'It's a good thing my boomerang missed...' she was just glad the two finally got together. Giggling, she watched as Kagome laid her head on Inuyasha's shoulder.

Inuyasha's blush increased as he felt the object of his affections lean against him. "Uhhh... Kagome, could you please not do that?" he whispered quietly so that only she could hear, "Aw, how come?" her voice was pouty and she gave him the puppy eyes. He sighed, giving in and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "It's getting late; we need to get back soon." he said, his pace once again quickening. He wasn't worried for Sango; he could here her footsteps grow faster as well.

After a few minutes of the brisk pace they finally broke through the trees, entering the village suddenly. Kagome giggled gently, her laugh reverberating through the honyou's body, as Inuyasha attempted to release her hand, not quite ready for the villagers to know of their coming together. She merely squeezed his hand reashuringly "They have to find out eventually." his ear twitched towrds her voice. "I love you Kagome..." he whispered before finally reaching Kaede's hut. "And I love you too..." she said, her eyes closing for a moment before both of them wandered through the reed doors, he demon slayer not far behind.

When they entered the hut they saw Shippo holding the monks robe, his feet planted as firmly as posible into the ground while Miroku attempted to pull away, heading for the door; it was amazing how strong the little kistune was! Sango cleared her throat, demanding the two to stop, "We're already back, hentai!" she stated and Miroku looked at her sandly, "But I was merely coming to see if your okay! Inuyasha did!" he mentioned, pointing at the honyou. "He's not a pervert." Kagome sat down on the futon, bringing Inuyasha down with her.

It was time to discuss a serious matter; one that had been ignored because of Kagome's injury. "Inuyasha, who was that demon? I mean, the one who hurt me." she said, looking deeply into his golden eyes. "I don't know..." he whispered, lowering his head gently to hers, resting his head against her. "But she smelled of Naraku. She's sure to come back, but this time she won't touch you Kagome, I promise." he whispered the last part so that only the mortal girl could hear. She giggled as his warm breath washed over his face.

"Get a room!" Miroku said sarcastically, taking the situation lightly anf making the atmosphere calmer. Kagome and Inuyasha both blushed at the comment, pulling away from each other and looking in the opposite direction. "But seriously, you two should get a room to yourselves!" Sango chirped in, glad to see everything back to normal, "Sango! You're in on this to?" Kagome squeeked out, looking everywhere but at Inuyasha. "Aw, come on! Kiss already! We all know you already did." Shippo jumped to Miroku's shoulder, seeming wiser than his age. Kagome's mouth hung open, staring at all of her friends. "Unless of course..." Miroku had a sly look, "Unless Inuyasha's [i]afraid[/i] to kiss a girl!" Inuyasha's face turned red in more than just embarassment.

"Fine then." he said quietly, whipping Kagome around with strong arms planting his lips firmly on hers. She blushed prfusley, wanting to be alone first. She heard Sango and Miroku let out an 'Awww...' and Shippo screaming, "Hey! Let me see!" Her face turned red. Inuyasha slowely rubbed her arms gently, getting her to relax, and she finally gave in before puling away gently, not wanting to go any further. "Soon, Inu-chan, soon..." she whispered only for him to hear and leaving him mind to imagine what she ment..
