Chapter 4
A/N: I'm very sorry it's been such an abnormally large amount of time since I updated. One problem was that I had written myself into a corner of sorts since I had limited where I was going. I was thinking of opening it up even more, instead of just 3 possible guys. Another note I've picked up on is that people think that Kagome slept with more than one guy. That's not how I planned the story. It's just the one guy. Still not going to tell you who though. Anyway hope you enjoy.

Once again Hojo's evening was filled with large brown eyes and raven hair.
The love of his life. His playmate, his friend, his soul.
His terrier Bubbles looked at him adoringly with huge brown eyes. The promptly bit him on the nose and ran off to play with his chew toys.
Hojo rubbed his nose and sighed.
*Not even Bubbles can make me forget her. Kagome...*
The highschooler had been confused by the signals that had been sent from his classmate. Sometimes he felt like she was the one for him. Other times she acted like he didn't even exist. He enjoyed the moments of attention enough that he was willing to ignore the moments where Kagome seemed to look right through him.
His thoughts drifted to the evening of her 18th birthday. Somehow he had wrangled a date out of her. Actually it was morre along the lines that her mother had coerced her into it, but Hojo didn't need to know that.
Then the date led to other things. He had thought the sake would be a good idea and loosen the conversation. He learned that Kagome had never experienced the drink before. He loved her even though she couldn't hold her liqour. Hojo's eyes glazed as the hot sweet memories floated to the fore of his mind.
