sango's adventure

A/N: thanks for the reviews...and i hope to get better on my promises...just bear with me.....enjoy

Sango went running after kagome to try and explain things better to her friend. Kagome had always been there for her, and she felt like she had just committed a crime.

" kagome please..i'm sorry...i didn't do this to hurt you "

Kagome became fumed over the statement and swung around facing sango...

" Sango....friends don't do things like this. Besides, you should be doing this with miroku "

Sango looked down with those words. Deep down she knew kagome was right, but sometimes it was so hard to love the pervert

" I know kagome. i'm sorry. that's all i can say. but please understand i never wanted to hurt you. you are family to me "

kagome turned and left to go into the well, not saying a word back to sango..not even a goodbye. Sango knew it would take a while for things to get better. Sango started back to the camp to gather her things...she too would need some time away to think about what happened

Meanwhile, back at the spring......inuyasha was left with miroku and a yelling shippo who was mad at him for hurting kagome.

" you stupid idiot!!!! why did you have to screw up! " he yelled

" shut up you little brat...nothing happened ok " inuyasha crossed his arms and looked the other way.

" inuyasha...i can't say i'm a little surprised at this turn of events. But why sango?...i thought you would go after kagome "

Inuyasha began to growl. " i'm tellin ya nothing happened. She feel asleep and i decided to cover her up...that's why she had my coat on "

miroku smirked " and who are you trying to prove this to inuasha? "

inuyasha growled...." keh....i don't have to prove a damn thing to you or anybody else!!...i'm going off and don't try to stop me miroku "

Inuyasha ran off back in the direction of camp and by surprise saw sango leaving in the opposite direction. " sango...wait..please" inuyasha pleaded. Sango turned around and acknowledged inuyasha. Her eyes beginning to fill with a small amount of tears " i'm...sorry inuyasha..i'm going to go away for awhile. My weapons need to be repaired, and i must think about everything " sango said trembling. Inuyasha could tell sango was hurting..and all he could think to do was...console her.

Inuyasha held sango close. Sango's trembling slowly began to fade as she felt safe and warm in his arms. She hugged him closer and held him tighter as he wrapped his arms around her more.

" it's been a long time since i felt so loved " sango said " my father was the last one who held me like this " inuyasha looked down at his sango..." i'm here for you sango, always and forever "

sango let go of inuyasha and stood right across from him..." inuyasha, would you like to come with me? " sango said with a small smile on her face

inuyasha looked shocked and surprised " but you never take anyone with you when you go to repair your weapons " inuyasha snorted.

" i know. usually i like to be alone, to have time to think about my life. But i want you with me now, so i can tell you more about me inuyasha. And if you could, i wish you could tell me more about you " sango sounded interested.

" keh...there's nothing to know about me..but i have nothing better to do..and since kagome decided to be mad and leave..i wouldn't have anyone to talk to anyway..so i don't mind "

The two started off walking down a cleared path in the woods. Sango moved closer to inuyasha, until she was right next to him. She then reached out and took his hand in hers, holding it tight.

Kagome came out of the well and ran as fast as she could out of the well house and into her home. Flying past her brother and grandpa along the way.

" looks like he did it again " souta sighed

" yes, and this one looks pretty bad " gramps chimed in.

Kagome continued in the house and ran up to her room. She threw herself onto the bed and sobbed uncontrolably. "how could she do this to me? " kagoe thought " how could inuyasha let this happen...this should have been me asleep with inuyasha..not sango " kagome continued crying until she gave out on her bed from exaustion.

Kagome awoke to find it late in the evening. "oh man, i didn't mean to sleep that long. I wonder where momma is " she got up and walked downstairs into the kitchen. Kagome found her mother hard at work in the kitchen doing what she loves best...cooking.

" what's wrong dear?...i heard you were crying earlier " mrs. higurashi sat down at the table as kagome did the same.

" well....it's hard for me to explain.." kagome said. Trying to get words out. She loved her mother, but sometimes it was hard to tell her things.

" well...i'm here for you if you want to talk dear " mrs. higurashi said. She got a cup from the counter and gave it to kagome. "i made some hot cocoa. Maybe this will cheer you up a little "kagome sipped the cocoa with almost instant results. That's what she loved about her mother, she could always make her feel better when she was down.

" Mom..have you ever had a friend that did something that made you really mad? " kagome asked.

" well...i can't really say i have dear " her mother thought some more on the matter " wait...i remember one time when i was in high school. A really close friend of mine went after a guy i fell in love with. That made me pretty upset " Mrs. higurashi stated.

" that's kinda the same thing that happened to me " kagome said in a sad voice.

" oh..was it inuyasha?" her mother sounded interested to find out.

" um...yes " kagome looked down to the floor " and.....sango "

kagome began to look said again and was fighting back tears. " oh dear....i'm so sorry sweetheart " her mother came over to her and hugged her " you love inuyasha don't you sweetheart?" her mother asked matter-of-factly.

Kagome froze and fished for a response. She always felt like she loved inuyasha, but she was never able to tell him. Even when she was close to telling him, something would always happen. Either inuyasha would get all mad and get sat...or kagome would run off home.

After a few more minutes kagome responded..." i really don't know...i think i do...but then sometimes i don't " she was looking down again.

" sweetheart...love is very hard to understand sometimes..just when you thought you have found the right person, they end up hurting you or going with someone else. You just have to take time and take it slow. I'm sure that everything will be ok." mrs. higurashi stated " maybe this was all a misunderstanding. "

That statement caused kagome to think to herself " maybe it was a misunderstanding..sango has always been such a good friend to me, and i know she wouldn't like inuyasha " kagome began to cheer up a little. " you're right mom...maybe this was all a misunderstanding. " kagome got up and started off " thanks mom..i love you. " kagome told her mother as she left to go back upstairs to get more sleep.

Inuyasha and sango had been walking for awhile in silence when he finally spoke " so how far away is this place?...how long will it take us to get there? "

" not long..we should be there tonight..given there are no destractions " sango actually blushed with that comment she made.

within a few more minutes, they came to a remote spring...one that was very well secluded and very tropical. It was the most beautiful thing the both of them had ever seen.

" let's stop here inuyasha...i'm tired..it will be ok for us to rest a little while " sago sat down on some mossy rocks.

Inuyasha took her things for her and set them aside. Sango looked around to find a good part of the spring to enter " why don't we go into the springs? " sango looked at inuyasha, who was very surprised she asked after the incident that happened earlier.

" sure..i don't think we'll have anything to worry about this time. "

Sango preceeded to take off her kimono in front of inuyasha..who again was very surprised she was being so bold. All inuyasha could do was watch her and look at her womanly body..her truly loved every part of her...especially her breasts.

Sango tried to get inuyasha's attention " inuyasha! did you hear me? " sango yelled.

inuyasha snapped out of his daze " huh...sry..i was...um..' he tried to fish for better words " i was looking at your kimono. "

Sango laughed " sure you were inuyasha...you can tell me...besides, i already know what you were really looking at " sango said, being very cocky.

" yeah..and how do you know? " inuyasha spat back.

Sango pointed to his waist " just look at yourself inuyasha...i can tell you are aroused " sango began to giggle.

Inuyasha stood embarrassed as sango continued to giggle..." it's ok inuyasha...kagome told me about it one time...so i'm not surprised. But i really wish you would take your robes off and hurry up..i'm getting cold standing here naked."

With that said..inuyasha practically ripped his clothes off and ran after sango who was already going into the spring..." hey wait up..i'm coming "
