Forgive me Father

AN: sorry that it has been so long since I posted. I was bombarded with assignments and tests, and on top of that I have been sick…but enough of me complaining.
*bows* Sumimasen! I hope that I have made this chapter worth the wait. The dream is over so there is no more flashback. Perhaps in coming chapters but right now that is it that is how it happened.

NB: Inuno = Future Inuyasha Inuyasha(unless being referred to by Sesshou/Kikyo) = Past Inuyasha

Back to Kagome’s time.


Kagome stretched and yawned, the morning sun was streaming through the window. Today she was going to meet up with Inuno, Inuyasha’s future self. Glancing down at the alarm clock, Kagome smiled. ‘Lots of time’ she thought to herself. She leisurely got up and dressed. Kagome ate a large breakfast and ran off to school. Kagome arrived at school for the second day in a row.

“I could get used to being normal again…”

“AH! Kagome-Chan! Ohaiyou! You’re here again today!” Yuka, Eri and Ayumi surrounded her.

“Ohaiyou! I hope to be here for the next few days, especially since there is that test coming up!”

“You had better not push yourself, we don’t want you to end up in the hospital again.”

“Arigato!” Kagome smiled as she followed them into class.


Inuno curled towards the heat that was next to him.

“Morning Inuyasha.” Sesshoumaru whispered into Inuno’s ear.

“Mmmm, I don’t want to get up yet Sesshou” Inuno pouted, his breath brushing Sesshoumaru’s neck.

“Nope you are quite awake Inuyasha, and teasing me is not going to help you’re situation.”

“Eh? Situation? What do you mean?” Inuno snuggled closer to Sesshoumaru.

“you are going to have to meet Kagome today. Now that she has had time to think about what is going on do you really think that she will be able to look at you the same way?”

“I doubt that she will look at either of us the same way, any of us that have survived for that matter. We have change, we have grown up. We are different. She has to get used to that fact. However, I do remember that I am going to be away for a few days.”

“Nani?”

“Long story, I am going to go back to the past. Before you start Sesshou I am not going to be messing with anything since I already know that I am going to go back. If I don’t go back I’ll be messing things up.”

“How long are you going to be gone?”

“Four days.”

“You mean that I have to go with out you for four days?” Sesshou whined. Inuno couldn’t help but smile, the once cold as ice lord of the west was reduced to the like of a pup that was being denied a treat. Inuno leaned over and kissed Sesshoumaru.

“Don’t worry it will not be that long. I’m sure you can last with out me.”
Sesshoumaru took Inuno’s chin and kissed him again.

“Are you sure Inuyasha?” Sesshoumaru whispered as he broke the kiss.

“mew”

“mew?” both Inu looked puzzled. Inuno leaned onto his back to see what had made the sound. Kirara hopped up onto the bed and sat on Inuyasha’s chest. Keeping him from cuddling back up with Sesshoumaru.

“Hello Kirara.” Inuno smiled brightly at the tiny Neko-Youkai.
Sesshoumaru growled.

“Is it time to get up Kirara?”

“Mew”

Inuno pulled the covers over Kirara as he got out of bed. They heard a protested ‘mew’ from under the covers, soon after Kirara poked her head out from under the covers.

“are you going to get up Sesshou?” Inuno asked as he turned back to see a smile on Sesshoumaru’s face.

“What?” Inuno asked. Sesshoumaru just smiled and responded.

“Nan dewa nai, Just enjoying a good stare, pray continue” Sesshoumaru laughed as Inuno blushed in his naked state, Sesshoumaru had undressed him when he was sleeping. Inuno glared at Sesshoumaru.

“You just like me naked”

“damm right I do. I also like it when you are in bed with me naked.”

“I have class.”

Sesshoumaru growled.

Inuno walked over and picked up the pair of pants that Sesshoumaru had discarded when he had stripped the sleeping hanyou. Slipping into the black leather Inuno tried to remember what he had been wearing. Opening the closed Inuno looked at the robe of the fire rat that was staring right back at him. Pausing for a moment of nostalgia, he pushed it aside to look for another shirt. Pulling out a black collared and sleeved red shirt he preceded to do up his buttons as Sesshoumaru finally decided to get out of bed. Grabbing a pair of socks and a bandana Inuno was spun around to face Sesshoumaru.

“Are you in a rush?”

“Well I do have to meet up with Takai, …and I am late as it is.” Inuno responded as he looked at the clock. Inuno heard a deep rumble from Sesshoumaru.

“Gomen Sesshou,” Inuno leaned up and kissed the older full youkai good-bye as he spun out of Sesshoumaru’s loose grip and headed for the door. Picking up his backpack and his fedora on his way out.
Inuyasha raced to the campus. Landing just in front of Takai.

“You, my friend, are late. Did your lover keep you?” The demon laughed as he expected Inuno to tell him to lay off.

“Overslept”

“The classic response. For a normal person.” Takai wondered if it had been a long night.

“Yeah I’m going to be missing a few classes in the next four days. I’m going on a little trip.”

“Trip? Where are you going?”

“That is a secret”

“Are you running away from Sesshoumaru? Come on tell me!”

“Takai, I’m going back”

“Back? You… don’t mean to… the feudal era?” the younger demon shivered and shrunk to the ground. “I still have nightmares
about that time.”

“I think that we all do.”

“Even you? And Sesshoumaru?”

“Yeah.”

“Then why are you going back?”

“I have to teach myself a lesson.”

“Eh? Oh! You mean your younger self. That should be fun. What is happening in the feudal era?”

“They are still looking for the shards.”

“So the big battle has yet to happen.”

“It’s hard to believe that it take the combined power of the past and the future to defeat Naraku.”

“Kagome was the sign that we would need the future to defeat Naraku.”

“You ready for Hanasamura-sensei’s test?” Inuyasha changed the subject.

“I was ready the day that I was born.”
Inuno laughed, “Yeah you were only a kitten during that era. I remember more about it than you would.”

“How in the hell would you remember more! You were attached to a tree!” The younger Neko youkai complained as the two of them found a suitable tree to sit under to study.

“My mother told me all about what happened during that time!”

“I wasn’t asleep for all of it… just a large part of it.”

“Yeah but the rest of it you were chasing tail.”

“No, not tail… Miko.”

“I still think that it is funny that you hardly give her the time of day now that she has stopped hating you."

“Things change, people change. I have Sesshou, and he has me. I have gotten over the fact that Kikyo isn’t the Kikyo that I once knew. 50 years attached to a tree change a person even if it was orchestrated by Naraku.”

“You haven’t forgiven her for that yet?”

“I have, but I haven’t gotten over it.”

“According to her you were the one that took her life.”

“No, according to me Naraku did.” Kikyo said from behind them. “What brought on the conversation about the past?”

“Hanasamura-sensei’s test that we have in an hour.” Responded Takai.

“Oh, Inuno, can I talk to you for a minute?” Kikyo shifted nervously from one foot to the other.

“Sure” Inuno got up and followed Kikyo off behind another tree. Inuno sighed inwardly. ‘why won’t she just give up?’

“Inuyasha, why must you insist on staying with Sesshoumaru?”

“Kikyo you know that Sesshou and I are lovers.”

“But you are brothers, you don’t have to keep this façade up just because you chose that girl over me. She is dead and I am still alive, you can come back to me.”
Inuno wished that Sesshoumaru were there so that he could have a more shocking way of telling her that he wasn’t interested. ‘strange she is never around when Sesshoumaru is…’ Inuno thought to himself.

“I’m not pretending Kikyo, I-”

“You called?” Sesshoumaru wrapped his hands around Inuno, placing a kiss at the base of his neck. Inuno shivered as his lover made his presence know.
Kikyo glared at Sesshoumaru. “What are you doing here?” she snarled
Looking up from Inuno’s neck Sesshoumaru sighed, “You should have warned me that the miko was here.”
Inuno rested his hands on Sesshoumaru’s and said, “She doesn’t believe me Sesshou, and she doesn’t believe that we are lovers.”

“If this wasn’t such a public place I’d show here right here and now.” Sesshoumaru placed another kiss at the base of the hanyou’s neck.
Inuno shivered again. “Sesshou!”

“I don’t mind if she wants to watch. As long as I get you.” Sesshoumaru gently bit Inuno’s neck. He then looked up at Kikyo, “Do you mind? Or are you going to watch?”
Kikyo blushed. Then fumed “Inuyasha how could you let your own flesh and blood do this to you?”

“Kikyo it doesn’t matter that he is related to me. I would be with him even if he wasn’t my brother.” Inuno stated calmly as he cupped Sesshoumaru’s chin. Sesshoumaru caught one of Inuno’s fingers in his mouth and started to suck on it. Sesshou watched in pleasure as Kikyo’s visage turned to horror as he heard Inuno moan. Kikyo turned and stormed off. Inuno turned in Sesshoumaru’s arms, leaned up and kissed him.
“Do you think that she finally got the picture?” Sesshou asks as the kiss breaks.

“I hope so.” Inuno settled into the crook of Sesshoumaru’s neck.

“If you don’t stop I will end up taking you right here.”
Inuno grinned and whispered into Sesshoumaru’s ear. “Well then I guess that you are going to have to wait four days to take me.
Sesshoumaru growled.
Leaning away from Sesshou, Inuno smiled. “I know that it will be hard on you, but I will not be gone for that long.” Inuno kisses
Sesshoumaru.

“Alright you fags we don’t need a show in front of the main building.” Takai announced from behind Inuno.
Both inu growled.

“sumimasen I have to take your partner to class, Sesshou-no-ni-san. Come Inuno test is in ten mins we have to go.” The Neko Youkai dragged Inuno away.


He cautiously opened the door. Peeking out from around the traditional Japanese door he dashed over to the house. ‘I wonder if Kagome is home. Inuyasha opened the door and walked in.

“Yo!” Inuyasha called into the house.
Kagome’s mother’s head popped out from the kitchen. Smiling brightly “Ah! Inuyasha! Kagome is off at school. Why don’t you sit down and I’ll make you some lunch!”
Inuyasha blinks but sits at the table.

“do you know when Kagome will be back?”

“she said something about meeting a guy named Inuno after school. You could go and meet up with her before she does that he school is over in about two hours.” Kagome’s mother sets a steaming bowl of ramen in front of Inuyasha. Inuyasha couldn’t hold the smile. There were some things about Kagome’s time that he could get used to. Inuyasha gulped down the Ramen setting the bowl down just in time for Kagome’s mother to put another one in front of him. Inuyasha smiled brightly as he continued to down the second bowl. Placing the second bowl down he smiled brightly as he proclaimed “I’m stuffed! Kagome’s ninja food is amazing!”
Kagome’s mother smiled as she took the bowl away. Looking at that clock she said, you can go and meet up with Kagome now, she should be getting out of class in an hour. You have plenty of time to get there.”
Inuyasha nodded and got up from his seat. “thanks for dinner!” he called as he ran from the house, following Kagome’s sent towards her school.

Leaping from building to building Inuyasha cough a sent that was familiar. Stopping dead he realized who it was that he smelled.

Sesshoumaru

‘What was he doing in Kagome’s time?’ Inuyasha turned to find the sent. Catching it again he followed it. He leaped blindly trying to locate the Youkai’s smell.

“Three”

“Two”

“One”

“And thump”


Thump.

Inuyasha landed in front of an inu youkai… it smelt like Sesshoumaru…but it wasn’t…
Inuno smiled at the confused look on his past self’s face.

“You have no idea what is going on do you Inuyasha?” Inuno leaned back against the tree where he had placed himself knowing that Inuyasha would catch his sent…well the overpowering smell of Sesshoumaru that would lingered on him for always. He had drawn his past self here with the smell of his mate.

“Who the hell are you!? Why do you smell like Sesshoumaru!?” Inuyasha barked at the unknown demon below him. Inuyasha inhaled a slightly different smell this time. One that smelt even more familiar. His own sent. Inuyasha’s eyes when wide in shock. “How the hell can you manipulate smell?”

“I am not” the stranger replied calmly, as he sat up looking at Inuyasha gol golden eyes that mirrored his own. Inuno stood up before continuing.


“my name here is Inuno… and I am you Inuyasha”

“NANI!?”
