Chapter 4

Unforeseen Gift

Kagome and her mother hugged each other and cried. Kagome knew there was no point in staying angry at her mother; it was just a waste of time to dwell on painful things. She had come to the realization that her time in her own time was coming to an end there was no way that she would be able to live in this time with out a lot of hiding and lying. “Mom I will come to visit you up until the jewel is completed and then I will seal the well on the other side. I’m sorry thing half to be this way but I refuse to live a lie for however long I live” with that she gave her mom one last good bye hug and left with Inu Yasha down the well.
Kagome tried to continue on normally, shard hunting saving people but things inside the group had become tense. Kagome was regretting telling her friends about her father the were now being all formal, we Inu Yasha and Shippo treated her the same but Keada, Sango and Miroku were acting all weird maybe even a little scared. She would have to try and find a way to be normal around her again, before she went crazy.
On top of that she was reviving a type of training in her dreams from her father. She had learned know how to turn off her mind reading abilities somewhat it was somewhat harder to ignore Inu Yasha’s mind especially sense they had sex. Another new ability was the ability to heal any wound she could run faster then Inu Yasha she could even fly if she wanted but she still rode on Inu Yasha’s back just to be close to him. She was slowing learning how to focus her Ki attacks we never really had any problems with any demons know that she could fight just as well as Inu Yasha.
Inu Yasha and Kagome’s relationship just got closer after the seal on her blood was broken. Kagome and Inu Yasha even spared together getting ready for the impending battle with Naraku. There was still one huge problem with there relationship; the very dead former love of Inu Yasha’s life…Kikyou (A/N: BOOOOOOO HISS). She just happened to be the center of today’s drama.
Kagome had gone storming off pissed because Inu Yasha had said something stupid and mean again today. She just didn’t get it we were actually making progress in their relationship lately and then all out of nowhere he starts acting all distant again. As she came into the clearing she saw the reason for Inu Yasha’s behavior sitting their starting at her with cold eyes. “I hope you don’t think that just because you fucked him that he’s yours girl, he promised me his life and you will not get in my way” Kikyou fixed her sad eye’s on Kagome; she saw flashes of Kikyou’s life. She felt the tears come up in her eyes. “You have suffered much Kikyou” she started to walk closer to the women she used to be, “I can end that pain for you know” there was no hate or rage in these words. Kagome watch the confusion in Kikyou’s eyes.
“Girl you take one more step towards me and you will loose you life” Kagome did not stop, Kikyou send her soul stealing demons to immobilized her body.
“Shit, Kagome please” Inu Yasha yelled as he ran to were there scents mingled “It is my job to see her to the next life”
The demons circled Kagome’s body. Once again she a weak smile crossed her face “This is useless you know” with that she let her Ki nock the Demons away from her.
“What has changed in you girl, your not the same as you were the last time we face one another” she was backing away in fear. Kagome reached out and pulled Kikyou into and embrace. Kikyou struggled at first but calmed as Kagome’s hand came up to the sides of her face. Kagome made the Miko look her in the eyes.
“There is no reason to struggle now; soon you will be free. I’m truly sorry that you life ended in such utter tragedy, but that’s why I’m here I’m here to fix this…” Kagome could see the tears in Kikyou’s eyes she moved her face closer to hers “The pain will be over soon”
Inu Yasha came running into the clearing; he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Kagome holding Kikyou. It looked to him like she was going to kiss her.
“Come home Kikyou” was the last thing said before Kagome’s lips touched Kikyou’s. The Instant there lips touched all of Kikyou’s memory’s became Kagome’s memory’s. Kagome relived the last years of Kikyou’s life. She had been a lonely woman when she had fallen in love with Inu Yasha and he had returned her feelings, but her responsibilities as a priestess and protector of the Shikon no Tama keep her from really loving him like she wanted. It was hard for her to not touch him like she wanted to. When she felt she was betrayed by him it had broke her soul and her heart she didn’t want to live, she would have died and left Inu Yasha behind if he hadn’t attacked the village, once again responsibility got in the way off what she had really wanted her life had ended when she let that fateful arrow fly. “I loved him I really did, please don’t leave him along Kagome, I don’t want him to suffer anymore”
Inu Yasha watched astonished as Kagome and Kikyou’s bodies floated off the ground. There was a light surrounding them Kikyou’s souls left her. He felt the tears rise in his eyes, he wanted to yell but he couldn’t find his voice. The tears finally fell as he watched Kikyou’s body blow away on the wind like so many ashes. Kagome’s body settle on the ground, she fell to her knees and her hands came up to cover her face her body shook with her tears. Inu Yasha crawled up to her; she turned to him and through herself into his arms. He hesitated to put his arms around her, he was about to push her away when she looked up at him with tear filled eyes, “she was so sad Inu Yasha so horribly sad, would you truly want her to live with the pain of loving you and hating you so much at the same time, she didn’t want to be here please understand I had to set her free” she pulled him into a fierce kiss, “I’m sorry my love”.
She kissed his face all over willing the love she felt for him into every kiss, “We are now one Inu Yasha I am Kikyou and I am Kagome we are one, you don’t have to be afraid anymore” she tried to calm her tears as she saw the tears fall down his face. She kissed away every tear that fell, “I love you so much Inu Yasha I want to be with you forever”
“Oh god, Kagome I love you” it was the last thing he said before he pushed her to the ground and started kissing her neck; whispering how much he loved her in between each kiss.
It started to rain pretty hard; but the lover didn’t seem to mind. “I want our body’s to be one again Inu Yasha I want us to be one for now and for ever”. Their clothes were soon off and forgotten. Inu Yasha franticly searched her body with his hands and mouth. She felt as if he was trying to memorize her body, like he thought she might blow away in the wind. Kagome pushed Inu Yasha onto his back and straddle his face; he didn’t waste anytime figuring out what she wanted him to do. He however didn’t expect the attaint ion to his member. The were both enjoying in the taking and giving of pleasure and about the same time both and Inu Yasha and Kagome bite into the each other’s thigh. Kagome felt herself climax at the same time has Inu Yasha bit her thigh, she heard stiffen with his climax as she bit onto his t.

He growled low in his throat as he brought his hands up to Kagome’s hips and brought her down until her was insider all the way. She started to rock her hips slowly at first, faster as she came close to cuming again. Inu Yasha sensed that she was coming close to her climax so he reposition him self and her so she was on her side with one leg over his shoulder, he quicken his pace. He was pounding her so hard she had to clench her teeth she didn’t bite her tongue. He was reaching deep insider her she felt the tension building inside of her it was so intents it brought tears to her, she felt like she was going explode like a star. Inu Yasha felt her tighten around him he lean forward and pushed forward once more and spilled insider her. She could only see gold light everywhere “OH GOD INU YASHA” she screamed before she went limp.
