Ways to Pay and Buy
Kagome was annoyed. Inu Yasha was as dumb as ever. "I will
go and take those tests!" *she turned and never gave him a
chance to respond. "I said I'd stay longer but with you
injured again after you and Kouga had again to fight over me I
don't want to stay!"
"Wench!"
"Osuwari!"
"Bitch!"
"Osuwari!"
"Ggggrrrr"
"Osuwari!"
"Miao?"
"Osuwari" Kagome realized that something was wrong.
She turned "Hello Kiara. Sango was overly worried. Where have
you been?"
A slight headshake was her only answer.
"Fine. I'm going back today. come let's go and fetch the
others."
The two females went away forgetting about the growling hanyou.

Sesshoumaru was holding Rin and Kanna. It was probably the fact
that he didn't mind Rin's smell and that Kanna seemed to have no
scent at all. He could already smell the village. His brother was
not there yet. This schould make things easier.
They landed and Rin hugged Shiori goodbye while promising to
visit her.
Siori on the other hand was less composed an cried into Rin's
shoulder. She even went as far as snuggling into Sesshoumaru's
tail on the walk to the village.

"Miko!"
Kaede couldn't help it. He only came every three years but
still his voice send chills down here spine. She came out of her
hut. "You are early Lord Sesshoumaru. We have yet to
harvest." She stopped when she saw the child snuggeling into
his tail. "You aquired a ward?"
He sighed softly. "Yes, but this is Shiori with her
mother." He gestured over to a woman who was looking at the
ground. "They are to be given refuge in this village."
Kaede looked at the two females. "As it is your wish my
Lord."
"The tribute is to be given to them so they have a living.
Give some to those helping them." Sesshoumaru pulled his tail
away from the girl. "Rin shall visit you soon." He took
a look at Kaede "Consider the tribute paid." He turned
an passed Shiori's mother "Choose wisely and get happy."
The females watched him.

Kaede looked at the two girls. "Come inside little ones. I
think tea and something to eat will be fine."

As they settled themselves comfortably the miko asked. "You
have a tale to tell little ones. I am the miko of this town. Why
did you come here and how did you make him guide you?"
Shiori's mother blushed a little. Then she startted her tale,
but left out the more intimate details of her accounters with
Sesshoumaru.
After listening. "I see child. Lord Sesshoumaru is fair
but dangerous. I have already heard from Inu Yasha about you. He
is bound to come in a few days."
Shiori sighed. "I will miss Rin-chan."
Kaede looked at the little girl. "Whom are you speaking of
child?"
Shiori smiled a bit. "Rin-chan is following
Sesshoumaru-sama." the girl fingered her flower necklace.
"She was the firt who played with me without making fun of
me."
Kaede looked at the sad girl. "Sesshoumaru-sama is a hard
master but he fair and like Inu's should faithful. He never
forgets."
Shiori's mother blushed. "Kaede-sama where shall we stay
and if we can help with anything..."
Kaede spoke softly "Your presence is welcome. Have you
learned any trade?"
The younger woman nodded "I know fishing."
"Than we shall do this. this villege will expand and me
might need a place for other to stay. as well for Inu Yasha and
his comrades." Kaede finished.

Kagome and Inu Yasha were at it again. Sesshoumaru sighed. He
had made Rin stay with Ah Uh by the well. Now he was watching the
group with Kanna by his side. "Naraku?"
"Soon." came the soft yet emotionless answer.
He just had to wait for the right moment. "OSUWARI!"
came Kagomes scream. He grinned. "Stay!" Know when t st strike father used to say, there won't be a better time soon.
He jumped to the group.
Inu Yasha felt the earth gritt beneath his teeth. He wanted to
say something when he heard Kagome gasp. That wasn't bad. but the
next voice made him leap to his feet.
"Inu Yasha this Sesshoumaru has business to discuss with
you." He stood in front of his brother.
Inu Yasha drew Tetsuaiga. "Bastard you won't get
Tetsuaiga."
Sesshoumaru sighed. "This Sesshoumaru doesn't wish for the
Tetsuaiga." This ist even more anoying than I expected.
"This Sesshoumaru needs the Miko and is willing to pay for
her."
Kagome swallowed. Sesshoumaru was deadly. He didn't look as if
he needed anything. Especially from a human. Now he needed
her? Something was wrong. What could he pay with that Inu Yasha
wanted to have?
Inu Yasha pointed Tetsuaiga at Sesshoumaru. "Keh, what
would you have that I yould want?"
Sesshoumaru grinned and liked the effect it had on the group.
maybe except Kiara who remained in her small from and watched him
togehter with Shippo. He pulled a quater of the Shikon no Tama
out. "This for the Miko and her pup."
Inu Yasha's exes bugged out. "Give that..." Tetsuaiga
was once again pointed at Sesshoumaru's chest.
Inu Yasha didn't think. Sesshoumaru almost let out an
exasporated sigh. "I said I would exchange this for the Miko
and her pup. Nothing else..."
Kagome felt stupid. sesshoumaru was treading her like a
possesion. Inu Yasha had more brains then that for sure.
"What do you want with a wench like that. She is loud and
not even yokai?" Inu Yasha asked disbelieving.
"Osuwari!" came the reply, not made by Sesshoumaru.
A voice came from the crater. "You can have her."
Sango and Miroku were shocked.
Kagome fought tears. She took the shards from her neck and
threw them at the hanyou. "Here are your precious shards.
Keep them and all your promises to yourself I am finished with you
as you sold me to HIM" She was pointing at Sesshoumaru "And
I am now HIS!"
Only Kanna felt the magic swirl and shift to shape new bonds.
Things were definetly more interessting with the inuyokai than
with her old master. After all certain things just tended to
happened to the taiyokai.
Sesshoumaru looked at the girl. She was furious. "Osuwari!"
Sometimes his halfbrother was simply stupid. "Osuwari!"
Sometimes is not enough... "Miko?" He was
rewarded by a glare from the person in question.
"What?" Kagome was beyond angry. She felt ready to
kill. Sesshoumaru always knows what he wants and has his
reasons. I might give it a try and after all he has a little girl.
It can't be that bad... "Alright. Let's go. Shippo come."
Sesshoumaru was surprised. He had expected resistence. But
this... "This Sesshoumaru promises not harm the Miko Kagome
and pct hct her." He hardly understood the mumble from Inu
Yasha that told him to take her and get out. He turned to Kagome
and held his hand out.
Kagome nodded grimmly. She took her bag and called Shippo ovr.
The little kitsune hesitated first but being with his mother and
Sesshoumaru won over being with Inu Yasha and without his mother.
Kagome waved goodbye took Sesshoumaru's hand.
Kanna felt it again. The magic of binding fates. She realized
that life would never be boring with him. I shall remain. I
understand her now.
Kagome was fuming. After being stuck with an uncomprehanding
inu-hanyou she was now stuck with a probably even less caring
inu-taiyokai. She doubted if things could get any worse. now she
was probably stuck in this time for ever. I am dead. That's it.
He bought me and now I either be his slave or get killed by him in
cold blood as he always does.
Sesshoumaru smirked as the girl followed him. She had no Idea
what he had planned for her. She will be very useful to this
Sesshoumaru. She is a ripe, He sniffed. to bad she is a
lesbian. She would be the perfect mother. He looked at little
kitsune that hung onto his surrogate mother like febofeboat. The
funny thing was that he keept as much space between his mother and
him as possible. Still fear was coming from both in waves so thick
that sesshoumaru thought about making them bathe.
As they
passed Kanna he nodded at her and lifted a eyebrow as she had a
slight smile on her face. She just pointed away from both camps.
He undarstood now. It was time.
Kagome squeaked a little as she was scooped up and drawn into
demodemons arm. Suddenly the forest became a blur and Shippo made
a slight "Wow." Traveling on Kiara or with Inu Yasha was
something but this was breathtaking. Suddenly they were standing
amongst flowers.
"Sesshoumaru-sama!" came a cry of delight. Kogome
found herself dumped into the gras and flowers as a small blur
attached himself to the yokais leg. Knowing that the deadly demon
had had human girl and seeing it were two very differnt
things.
Rin watched the two newcomers. "Oh Rin remembers the
pretty lady! She was there after Kohaku-kun met Rin." Looked
at Shippo who in turn was watching Rin curiosly. "Rin thinks
he has a cute tail."
Shippo turned beet red. A little shyly he told her "I'm
Shippo, I'm a kitsune." A soft giggle was his answer and made
him even more flustered than before.
"Does Shippo like flowers?" Rin asked while she tied
a flower necklace to his wrist.
Shippo was curious. The girl didn't question him. Hell she
even trusts me fully! ... Hope I didn't say that loud. He
looked at Kagome who was almost drooling over the little girl. She
is cute... Damm kitsune instincts. then he saw Sesshoumaru
disapear. He caught the look and knew what it ment. If anything
happends to any of them, I will wish to be dead.

Kanna met the Lord on his way to the probable meeting point.
She really wished to stay behind with him. and considering the
glance he gave her. She was quite confident.
"Show yourself Puppet!" He commanded. He watched
Kagura and the puppet descent torwards him. He smirked.
"I have something for you in exchange for the jewel."
With that he pushed Kagura forward. "She can be useful to
you. Or you can just kill her for revange." the puppet
smiled.
Kagura looked shooked. I fucking hate him. She felt the
Lord examining him. "Undress or..." the puppet told her.
She hated it. It was nice having his eyes on her and she wouldn't
mind a turn with him but her main intere was was somewhere else.
And the thing behind her was poison to the mood.
Sesshoumaru saw her reach for the ties of her kimono. "This
Sesshoumaru already knows her body." He saw Kagura flich and
turn red. the puppet smiled. "However there will be no deal
as without the other one." He looked at Kanna. "You can
however keep Kagura." The Lord saw the slight shiver on
Kanna. "But This Sesshoumaru offers this for both of them
with their hearts in my hands." He drew another quater from
his armor.
The puppet seemed to smile. "This is not much..." It
disapeared into the woods. "...but enough." After all
Naraku desperatly needed the Shikon for the power to repair his
body.
Kagura was standing stupidly around. She looked at Kanna. "You
will have a lot to explain!" The voice was almost accusing.
Serving him can't be worse than serving Naraku.
Kanna just stood there moitionless as sha was waiting. After
what seemed ages to Kagura she looked at Sesshoumaru. He gave a
slight nod. She turned back to the woods and saw the puppet return
with two boxes.
The kugutsu lifted its hand. "The hearts are in there.
Their spirits are this." Two glowing pink orbs apeared. He
took one in the other hand and squeezed.
Kagura screemed in agony as she felt it. What saved her was
"Don't damage my property. You sold her so let be or this
Sesshoumaru retreats from the deal." She saw how the puppet
and the demon lord exchanged the Shikon no Tama for the the orbs.
She realized that sesshoumarus hand felt tender upon her heart.
He activated the spell that made the orbs dieappear. Then he
picked the vases up. He walked into the woods. As Kanna followed
him Kagura knew that she had no other choice.

Not far from the camp he stopped and waited for the other to
join him. he broke the seals and took Kaguras heart from it's
prison. As she came closer she shuddered on feeling the almost
intimate feeling that his palm gave on her heart. She closed her
eyes. Then she felt even warmer, she heard something rip and a
touch on her chest before she colapsed. She felt all over warm.
Then the wamrth started receding as she felt her heart beating. I
can hear it, beating healthily in my chest where it should be. He
would do do this ... Would he? Kagura looked up and froze as
she saw Sesshoumaru bind draging a Sword through Kanna heart and
orb before plunging all three of them into the girls chest.
Kanna droppe her her knees. The magic of the sword was sealing
her heart into her body as it should. This was even more then she
had hoped for. She saw Kaguras shocked face. she turned to the
demon lord as she put her dress back on. "Arigatou,
Sesshoumaru-sama."
Kagura was a bit shocked. Why had he done that. He had now no
hold over her. That was something very confusing.
He stepped trough the vegetation and onto the clearing. Kagome
was chasing Rin. It was a very refreshing sight. He heard Kagura
gasp as she saw the miko. "Kagome." he called them. Rin
squealed in delight and attached herself to him immeadetly. She
giggled as his claws carassed her head gently. She quikly
disangaged herself from him and dragged Shippo, who came closer,
torwards Ah-Uh.
Kagome was more than surprised to see Kagura and Kanna.
Kagura
just blinked in realization. "He bought you too!"
"He
did!" The miko blushed a little. Looking at sesshoumaru she
asked "What do you want?"
Sesshoumaru grinned. That was a bit scary considering that he
had had the same grin when he rammed his arm trough Inu Yasha.
"This Sesshoumaru has no intend upon holduing you against
your wishes." He looked at Kagura and Kagome "This
Sesshoumaru overs his protection for your relationship in exchange
for the protection and tutoring of Rin."
Kagura and Kagome blushed this time. Kagome interjected.
"Sesshoumaru-sama, I live in a different time and I have
obligations there..."
"You are allowed to finish your education. It will prove
usefull in tutoring Rin and this Sesshoumaru understands the value
of knowledge."
Kagura grinned. "We can do anything we want as long as it
fits you somehow?"
Sesshoumaru just nodded. He could already smell the wind
witch's intentions.
Kanna had already decided to stay so she stepped to the yokai.
She lifted her mirror and gave it to him. He accepted it without
second thought. Now she went torwards the children.
Kagura was surprised at the display of trust that her sister
gave the taiyokai. We are to stay with him and he wants us to
trust. Nothing to loose. She reached for Kagome and drew her
closer.
Kagome wanted to reply when Kaguras Lips claimed hers and a
tounge sneaked into her mouth. This was just what she missed the
last few days. She responded by grabbing the demoness and pulling
her closer.
Sesshoumaru left the females. He didn't need to watch to know
what was happening and it just reminded him that he really needed
a bitch.
