Inu Yasha stared at her for a second melting into her, he returned the kiss but then thoughts of Kagome and his dream appeared. He pulled away and Rin looked at him surprised as he stood up ready to leave, she grabbed his leg as he turned “Inu Yasha!?” she asked.
“I-I can’t do this!” he said looking away from her.
“Why not?” she asked innocently, standing up to look into his eyes.
His eyes began to water as tears threatened to flow “because I’m just a hanyou, not human or youkai! How could anyone want me!?” he cried.
She looked at him and figured that is why he must have been crying last night, he was rejected for being hanyou “Inu Yasha” she said reassuringly “I do not care I love you the way you are.”
They were both surprised, Inu Yasha because he was accepted for being hanyou and Rin because she admitted she loved him only after one day.
