Sango’s current mental state is that all men except Inu Yasha are trying to rape her; she does not believe Inu Yasha raped her because she let him take her even if she didn’t want him to she allowed it so in her mind she was raped but not raped. Kinda complicated and she thinks she loves him which complicates it more. She wants to sleep with Inu Yasha and Kagome lets her because Sango’s mental state makes her believe everything is about sex, and Kagome can think of nothing to help so she lets Sango and Inu Yasha have sex.
She doesn’t try to take Sango to her time because the mental and physical exertion would be too much. Miroku is not calm about the situation but his mental state is worsening because Sango the girl he loves cringes in fear from him. Therefore, he tries to ignore what is going on even though his heart is breaking.
Kagome does not know how to deal with this situation so she lets Inu Yasha do what he wants; she is not a psychologist so she does not understand what Inu Yasha has done to Sango mentally. Sango was already in a bad mental state because her brother had died and then after the Inu Yasha incident she believes herself to be dirty.
