Chapter Four.

They quickly grabbed their weapons and headed out of the hut towards Kikyou’s grave site. Kikyou quickly started to move towards the hut’s door.

Kaede held her back. “No, you are their secret. Wait for the sign from Kagome,”

Kagome nodded as the hot boiling water was placed onto the several blocks of ice that she brought with her from her world. The hot water started the fog as it flowed out of the cauldrons that they placed around the area. Inuyasha watched with wonder as the strangely created fog rolled towards the grave of Kikyou and Naraku.

At the grave site, Naraku was digging trying to reach the shard. He noticed the strange fog coming in but he didn’t mind it as it was normal to appear around a temple. His need for the shard was too much not to pay it heed till it was too late.

“Hello Naraku, looks like you are a grave digger,” snarled Inuyasha, pulling out his sword and aiming it at him.

Naraku stood up and smirked as he stood up in his hand was the jewel shards that he had finished digging up. "I do not have any need to bother with you, half-youkai, soon, I'll be a full youkai and you will be dust as I'll slay you right after I take the youkai slayer and Kagome as my brides and have you watch as I mate them both."

Inuyasha smirked even more showing his teeth. "I doubt that, Naraku, my girls would rather have Miroku than you."

Kagome smiled as well. "Naraku, perhaps you should look at the shard you had dug up from the grave." Kagome raised her hand and opened it three times.

"The signal has been given, Kikyou. You may go to their side now," Kaede said, as she saw the signal from Kagome. Kikyou hurried out of the hut with her weapons in hand. She snuck behind Sango's demon cat Kilala and bided her moment to fire off her arrows. "W "Why should I look at it for it is the shard of the Shikon no Tama that you broke into many pieces?" asked Naraku.

"Well, if you look at it you will see what I am talking about," spoke Kagome, looking at him. 'Kikyou, please show up now while he's distracted by looking at it.'

Kikyou noticed that Naraku was distracted as he looked down onto the shard. Kikyou aimed her arrow and fired it, she yelled out, just as the arrow struck Naraku's neck. "Monster, you shall pay for what you have done to me in the past!"

Naraku realized that he was tricked and screamed in fury as well as the pain shot through his body. He tried to throw out his 'offsprings' but it was too late as Inuyasha came at him with his sword drawn and the next thing that happened was that Naraku's body turned to a pile of dust.

Miroku's wind tunnel started to close up quite painfully. He screamed out in pain holding his hand. Sango turned towards him and saw how he held his hand. She knew something bad or good was happening to him. Miroku screamed, "My hand! The tunnel's gone!"

"Does that mean Naraku is dead now?" Sango asked, looking at the others.
