Kagome's Gift
AN: Sorry, I know it's been awhile but life is full of surprises. I know this is short but I wanted to post and keep this story alive. I will be updating very soon and it's just getting good, so hang in there. For all of you that read and reviewed, thank you.

Kagome's Gift
Rin chewed on her lower lip as she dipped the tips of the arrows in the curare. Her lips curved into a smile, as she remembered the praise her Sensei had bestowed on her for the term paper she had written on “paralyzing poisons.” She sighed, she took out a pen and paper, her heart ached and her hand trembledshe she wrote her farewell to her family.
She slid on a black lycra cat suit and laced her black combat boots, She tied her long hair into a high ponytail. Grabbed her cloak and her black backpack and made her way to the well.
The moment was finally hear, she shivered in anticipation, Rin stripped the last of the remaining wards from the well and peered in. She touched the locket around her neck. The locket that held the precious fragments of memories from those that she loved. The locket had been given to her from her Sesshoumaru and she had placed a strand of Kagome’s hair within it. Naraku had the shikon no tama but the well had accepted them 6 years ago. In her mind she thought the well had taken them to protect them and it would now accept her to protect him.
Beautiful , determined and deadly, and without hesitation, Rin swung her legs over the edge of the well and jumped.
The comforting swirls of color and magic engulfed her, she felt at peace. Voices from her past swirled around her. She saw the faces of those she had held dear. Kagome, Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku and So. o.
Rin felt two small hands reach out to her and hold her face, directly in front of her was Kagome.
Rin heard Kagome’s voice swirling, fragments in the distance, the whispered words insistent.
“All dead…………. you must hurry………...you can save him , the last of his kind……….the future…….. darkness cannot prevail.”
She felt Kagome press her lips to hers and a white hot surge of power shot through her body. Kagome’s face floated into the darkness as she uttered,
“Our powers are yours, find your love.”
Suddenly she was at the bottom of the well again, the colors gone, she looked up at the moon, hazy through the miasma. She put on the exterminator mask.
‘I made it, I am here.’
Rin climbed out of the well, it was deathly still and silent, no sound of life.
She could feel him, he was alive, she could feel his pain, she dropped to her knees, as the force of his despair washed over her.
Rin’s hands dug into the soil as an anguished cry escaped her.
Awaken and you fill my thoughts - your eyes, your hair, the smell of you: I can almost taste you, I want to be filled with all of you; I want to taste you. All I want to do is to pleasure you and have you possess me. Reality has yet to overtake me - I feel as if I am dreaming. I think of your touch and my body shivers, the longing inside me still burns……...
……..the moon shone above and she was now beneath him moaning in ecstasy, his name spilling from her lips as her head thrashed back and forth.
Something was different this time, slowly her face came into focus and she looked into his eyes, and spoke, “My Lord, hold on, I am here and I will save you.”
Sesshoumaru was thrown back into consciousness…...His mind struggled with awareness, she is real, I know now…………..
“Rin,” he uttered.
