A/N: Wow, thanks for all the reviews they make me SO happy. I’m sorry about taking forever to update the last time. So I figured I’d put this up now in order to make everyone happy. Yay! Anyway, I just want to say that the beginning of last chapter WAS A JOKE. Apparently some people took it seriously and didn’t finish the chapter. Also I HATE Kikyo, she is pure evil. No worries this is not by ANY means a Kikyo/Inu fic. She will feel my wrath! Okay so on to the next chapter here’s a recap it should explain the new and transformed Kikyo thing a tad bit more. At least before I go into further detail, don’t worry you are supposed to be a little confused at this point in time. Here goes:
Lasme ime in A Fitting Turn: (Sorry so DBZ, that I couldn’t resist)
Kikyo returns Kagome’s soul to her and goes through a change. A different change also occurs in Kagome and Inu Yasha finds out that she has done something important to herself and hasn’t yet told him. Can he really believe what Kikyo told him? And why was Kikyo so willing to give up that portion of her soul and how can her body still exist? Shouldn’t she be particles of dust floating around? Something’s not right, Kikyo’s new and transformed and this could mean trouble for our favorite duo.

Inu Yasha stared up in shock at Kikyo’s new transformed self. Her aura was a dark purple that strangely reminded him of another’s. There was a strange beauty about her, but she was hollow. He saw no soul in her eyes. She looked pure evil without so much as an expression on her face. At the edge of her aura he saw a white mist. It seemed as if it was another aura attempting to interconnect with hers. He looked beside him and saw Kagome staring intently at Kikyo locked in some battle of miko powers. Confused he watched on in amazement as their powers danced around them flowing freely from their bodies.
It lasted only mere seconds, but to a dazed Inu Yasha it seemed hours. Then, suddenly, almost as if she was scared off, Kikyo stopped and flew from the ground. Her feet were flat as if she was still standing on the ground, though she was above it.
She began to speak in a monotone voice, “Thank you for finally freeing me from my burden, Kagome. Now I have an increased amount of powers and can easily kill you and your hanyou without any regrets,” she snapped her head towards Inu Yasha, “Don’t forget that this isn’t over yet boy. I will make you suffer for what you have done to me. Choosing this girl over a priestess, you have failed both races and really are an outcast. Don’t expect to be able to return to the demon world or the human world for I will make sure that none will except you. Don’t worry I won’t kill you right away, I’ll take pain in making your life so miserable that you’ll be begging me for death! And I am not alone in my ventures.”
“W-W-What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Inu Yasha questioned, finally being able to speak. “Who the hell would help you whatwhat do you have against us?”
Instead of answering Kikyo just turned, summoned her arrow to her hand, and began to laugh. With that she rose further up into the sky, faced the west, and was off in a gust of wind and a purple flash of light. Startled the two just watched her leave from the ground.
“Damn it,” Kagome started, “Did you see where she was heading?”
“Yeah to the West why does that matter?”
“Inu Yasha, who lives in the West?”
“Keh, who cares about that fool?”
“Didn’t she say she had powerful help. Someone else who wanted us dead?”
“You don’t think she meant…? Kagome, what the hell are we gonna do?”
“The only thing we can. We will await the return of Kaede, Miroku, and Sango. It appears another battle has started for us. I can’t believe this, we were just starting to live peacefully and now it’s not even-n-n ov-v-ver yet-t-t-t.” Kagome began to cry softly out of frustration. Worried and scared, Inu Yasha approached Kagome and wrapped his arms around her in an attempt to comfort her.
Then he began to think, “Hey Kagome, d-d-did you just swear earlier?” Kagome burst out laughing at the response and looked up at Inu Yasha. He cocked his head and glanced tiontioningly at her like a confused puppy. “What’s so funny wench? And what’s with the sudden change of mood?” Kagome just continued to giggle. She then used the moment to her advantage as she leaned forward and quickly captured his lips. Before he had time to react, Kagome got up and started running towards the village. Startled it took Inu Yasha a few moments to realize what happened.
‘Huh, I guess she couldn’t resist.’ He smirked and then jumped off the ground chasing after the girl of his dreams. He knew that their happiness would only last momentarily, until the battles began once again. But he was going to use every moment to his advantage. ‘I’ll make her love me if it’s the last thing I’ll do!’

A/N: Okay for is down and out. Finally, I hope everyone’s happy with it, let me know. Oh and I’m going on a well deserved vacation soon, so please let me know if you want a couple more chapters up before then. I leave on Saturday March 20th. Which also just happens to be my birthday. But yea I have a week and am willing to put up more depending on how long everyone wants to wait. Just let me know. Also who wants a LEMON next time? Because I'm in the mood to right one and I have a pretty good idea for it. Or possibly the time after that? And do yoys hys hate me for my fake chappie last time in the beginning? Haha well please r&r! Oh btw my first lemon goes up sometime soon. It's the first one I ever wrote and I think I feel brave enough to post it, its for my story Falling Back.
