Kouga's Decision

A/N: Nikah will learn that she has become pregnant. The child will make her heart begin to soften towards Kouga. I still don’t own Inuyasha. Enjoy and read then review!
Chapter4: Strange Illness

Nikah awoke from her slumber with a jolt. Her body was covered with a fine thin sheen of sweat. She could feel the nausea quickly rising to the back of her parched throat. Nikah ran out of the entrance of the dark cavern as quickly as she could. Once she was standing at the edge of the cliff she flung herself onto her knees.

Nikah braced her hands on the cool rocky ground beneath her as the nausea made it’s way into her mouth. She leaned over the cliff and shut her watery brown eyes as the vomit overfloout out of her mouth almost immediately. Nikah wiped her mouth and sat back to catch her breath. Kouga placed his hands on her shoulders startling her at first. “Are you alright Nikah?” She nodded and gave him a tired smile.

Kouga sniffed the air for a moment as if looking for an intruder. Then as if finding nothing wrong he returned Nikah’s smile. “Why are you smiling Kouga?” “Because you’re pregnant.” Nikah’s still watery cinnamon brown eyes became wide with shock. “I’m pregnant? How do you know for sure?” “I’m a demon Nikah, I can smell the scent of the unborn pup you’re carrying.” Nikah gently placed her hand on her stomach.

“We’re going to have a baby Kouga!” “Yes I know. Now come back inside the den so we can get back to sleep. Do you feel okay now? Are you thirsty or hungry?” “I’m fine Kouga, thank you.” Kouga helped Nikah to her feet and then slipped his arm around her waist as they walked back into the cavernous palace that was their home. Nikah crawled into bed next to Kouga. For the first time since she had come to stay there Nikah didn’t flinch or pull away when Kouga pulled her up against his body.

She actually smiled when she felt Kouga’s hand come to rest on her stomach lightly. Nikah allowed her heavy eyes to finally droop shut as she fell back into a peaceful sleep. Morning came quickly, the first rays of dawn creeping into the dark cavern. Nikah woke to find Kouga draped around her tiny body protectively. She smiled and carefully shifted so that she could face him. He looked so adorable smiling in his sleep. It almost reminded her of a little boy. Nikah’s movements and her breath on his face stirred Kouga from his sleep.

She smiled at the wolf prince sweetly. “Good morning Kouga.” “Good morning Nikah. Did you sleep well?” “I did.” Kouga grinned showing off his boyish good looks. “How are you feeling this morning?” “I’m fine so far.” Nikah reached up and brushed a stray strand of hair out of Kouga’s half open blue eyes. Kouga placed a quick kiss on Nikah’s full lips and then stretched sleepily.

Nikah swung her legs out of bed and sat up. “Where are you going?” “To take a bath. Want to join me?” Her sexy and mischevious grin convinced him it would be a wonderful idea. “Sure, lead the way.” Kouga got up and followed his mate to their hot springs. Once at the hot springs Nikah playfully pushed a naked Kouga into the steaming water. She laughed out loud her laughter echoing off the cavern walls.

Kouga grinned at his mate devilishly and yanked her into the bubbling water with him. Nikah ducked her head below the warm water to wet her hair. When she resurfaced Kouga grabbed her thighs and pulled her onto his lap aggressively. The two shared a long passionate kiss. Kouga let out a low moan as Nikah unconsciously rocked her hips against him.

Nikah gave an involuntary shudder as she felt the tip of Kouga’s rapidly hardening length glide across her heated flesh. She leaned up so that her breasts pressed into Kouga’s chest and whispered into his ear. “Kouga, I need you!” Kouga was more than delighted to hear Nikah’s voice dripping with her desire for him. He grabbed her thighs and held her to him as he pinned her against the cool stone wall of the hot springs.

Nikah dug her nails into Kouga’s broad shoulders as he began to push himself inside of her. Kouga gave his hips a final thrust and felt his length fully penetrate Nikah’s soft body. Nikah moaned against Kouga’s ear as he began to move inside her. The feeling he was creating in the pit of her stomach was unlike any feeling she had ever felt before. Nikah used her hands to lift herself up off Kouga’s length. She uttered a broken moan as she sank back down onto his throbbing manhood.

“Ohhhh...K-kouga!!” Kouga grunted as he thrust his length deeper into Nikah’s warmth. Nikah began equally meeting Kouga’s thrusts as her climax began quickly approaching. She shut her brown eyes to see a million white lights flicker behind her closed eyelids as her orgasm washed over her like a tsunami. Kouga felt Nikah’s inner muscles clench tightly around his throbbing length.

He squeezed her backside tightly as he gave one final thrust against her. Kouga moaned and felt his length throb deep within Nikah’s warmth. Nikah sighed against the crook of Kouga’s neck as she felt the rush of warm liquid flood her womb. She gave one last rock of her hips to feel Kouga’s length release the last of his seed into her body. “Mmmm....Kouga.” At that very same moment Ginta came around the corner to inform his prince of the pack’ s eagerness to see their new princess.

He stopped short when he saw Nikah straddling Kouga’s lap with her legs wrapped securely around his waist. From the angle Ginta was looking he was well aware that the two were intimately joined. He cleared his throat in an attempt to get his prince’s attention. Kouga and Nikah turned to look at him not bothering to cover up.

“Yes Ginta, what is it?” “My prince, the pack wishes to see you and your new mate. They wish to know if your union has been successful in producing an heir.” Kouga grinned as he held Nikah closer to him. “Tell my pack that we will address them shortly. Ginta, you are the first of the pack to know that Nikah is indeed pregnant with my pup. But wait until we appear to reveal the news.”

Ginta nodded and bowed as he left the couple in privacy. Kouga pulled his now limp manhood from Nikah’s body. “Come darling, we must get ready to announce the arrival of our pup.” Nikah smiled as Kouga led her out of the hot springs to get dressed.
