I do not own Inuyasha and I do not make money from my writings. Someone else does although I am really Sesshoumaru's secret mate. Shhhh...it is our little secret.
Chapter 36
Sango, Miroku, and Banzan were curled up in each other’s arms. None of them wished to be woken, but morning had come so Banzan left the two humans without waking them as he rushed back to his chambers to dress more appropriately.
Kaimu hurried toward the guest chambers to wake up the humans. In the process he almost ran right into Banzan.
“Captain Banzan……”
Kaimu stated bowing to his superior unable to keep himself from noticing Banzan’s state of dress. The man was practically naked and might as well have been with the white filmy see through pants and robe which Banzan was adjusting.
“Kaimu where are you going so fast that you might have knocked over your superior.”
Kaimu lifted his head to speak, but his face was bright red. Kaimu was still a youth and out of luck alone was allowed the privilege of escorting Sesshoumaru’s guests about the castle.
“I was heading to the human slayer and monk’s quarters. Lady Luna ordered them to come down to breakfast since all but these two royals are having tea down in the dining room.”
Banzan frowned and looked up at the sky that was still dark. Breakfast was not normally served until sunrise.
“This is a quite unusual request. I will wake the two humans up you get the maids prepared to dress them so that they will not run behind.”
Kaimu nodded and rushed down the hallway almost tripping over himself to find the maids.
“That boy does not have one lick of sense.”
Banzan muttered as he went back to inform his new lovers it was indeed time to wake up.
Going back to the small room he just exited, Banzan gently awoke the slayer and monk.
“I can’t do it again Banzan, my ass is broken.”
Miroku stated while still half asleep making Banzan chuckle.
“My Lord I do not doubt that, but it is time to awaken none the less.”
Sango woke up and looked around the room. It was still dark.
“Why must we rise so soon?”
Sango stated as she stood up stretching those tight muscles that were over used in the last 24 hours. At first it was Sesshoumaru with his super sized dick and kink for tying his lovers up; then her husband only to be taken three more times with Banzan in some acrobatic positions that she never knew of. It was a good thing she was flexible.
“Orders from Lady Luna; you are expected in the dining room immediately.”
Sango nodded and kicked Miroku forcing him to get up.
Giving Sango a quick kiss on the cheek, Banzan departed so that he too would be dressed and ready to meet up with Kaimu.
Servants soon arrived dressing Miroku and Sango into what they would be wearing for the day did not take long and as soon as they were finished Kaimu came to take them to the dining hall.
Banzan also arrived fully dressed in his splendid armor that he muttered about having a fingerprint stain upon it as he used a small piece of silk to rub it off.
“Kaimu did I not tell you to keep my armor from being mishandled last night?”
Kaimu frowned.
“Sir, I did keep it from being mishandled.”
Banzan pointed to the stain on one of his golden spaulders.
“I found a fingerprint stain. Do you have any clue how difficult it is to get such stains out? It mars the metal.”
Kaimu cringed.
“It fell onto the floor last night Captain; I just picked it up and did not see the stain left. I promise it will not happen again.”
Sango and Miroku both thought Banzan was being a bit dramatic over such a small thing, but remained silent.
“See that it doesn’t. I was given this armor by Lord Sesshoumaru himself and I promised him I would not allow it to do anything, but shine. I will not tell you again.”
Kaimu nodded and bowed.
“Now let’s get to the dining hall before our Lady has a conniption fit.”
Banzan growled out as he led his two lovers and Kaimu to the dining hall.
“Ah…….Banzan. You are here after all. I was wondering why young Kaimu was the only one up this morning. Perhaps you can enlighten us?”
Banzan blushed profusely.
“He was with us all night my Lady.”
Miroku chimed in with a slight grin on his face although he winced a bit when he sat down. That was noticed by every adult at the table and Inuyasha had to chuckle a bit.
“I see. Well so much for decorum. Since my son and his mate could not find it suitable to wear the proper attire for breakfast I shall enjoy the company of one who does what he is told. Banzan sit and have a bit of tea with us. Kaimu you are dismissed to do whatever it is you do.”
Sesshoumaru wanted to growl at having a servant at the royal table, but fact was his Mother was in one of her moods so he swallowed his pride and nodded for his Captain of the guards to sit.
“Splendid. Now that everyone is here I wish to know what kind of hanyou’s you all wish to become. It is unlikely that you will get a choice, but I must ask none the less.”
Sesshoumaru sighed. This meant there was a running bet across the castle on what the humans would end up being.
“How much did you wager Mother?”
Whacking her son on the arm with her favorite fan, Luna huffed at her son.
“What makes you think I would lower myself to wager anything? Besides you are spoiling the fun of the game. If you were in their place wouldn’t you like to have an option? I just wish to hear what these young humans would wish to become. They are going to do the change after breakfast even if you two boys are in pajamas so you really have no say so in this. It is my turn to play so be nice or else.”
Sesshoumaru sat back and sipped his tea trying not to argue with his Mother. She thought she was being so damn funny. It really pissed him off. Of course their choices would to become Inu demons. What other demons could compare? None.
“Well I have always wanted to fly with Kilala so perhaps a bird demon of some kind? I believe that Miroku is already a weasel.”
Sango stated softly.
“I am not a weasel. I am a legitimate priest who does much for the greater good. Sure we make a little money on the side, but it is because we have a growing family Sango.’
“I wouldn’t mind being a fox demon like Shippo.”
Inuyasha snorted at that.
“Why? You play enough tricks on people just being a monk. There is an ominous cloud hanging over your castle. I will use this sutra and it will only cost you just about everything you own ya swindler. I agree with Sango. You are a weasel.”
Miroku growled a bit at that.
“I am not a swindler nor am I a weasel. All of you just don’t truly understand me. I am indeed a holy man who has done much for these villages and I have mouths to feed.”
Kagome and Sango laughed.
Sesshoumaru had to smirk a bit. The monk indeed was a weasel.
“So what about you Kagome? What kind of half demon would you like to be?”
Everyone turned to look at Kagome who was thinking about what she would be.
“I would like to be an Inu demon like my husband and brother, but if I can’t be that then I agree that I wouldn’t mind being a bird demon. I think it would be cool to have wings and be able to fly anywhere I wish to go.”
Inuyasha frowned. He didn’t want Kagome to be a bird demon. She would fly away whenever they had a fight so he would have to clip her wings. No, it was best that she be an Inu. At least that is what he is hoping for.
“Well you know my dear there are many forms of Inu demons. If you become one you may end up being a different breed from our own. Not that it is bad or anything.”
Luna stated as she drank her tea.
Banzan sipped his tea when Sesshoumaru glared at him.
“Why is there a mar on your armor Captain?”
Luna then looked at Banzan’s armor trying to see the mar.
“I left my armor with Kaimu to watch over last night. I will not do so again my Lord.”
Sesshoumaru nodded to one of the soldiers by the door.
“Take this man’s armor and have it shined to perfection. I will not have one of my Captains wander about this castle with a single mar on armor I had chosen for them.’
“You are lucky I like you Banzan or I would strip you of your rank for such bad conduct. You know how I feel about that armor.”
Banzan blushed and gave his armor over to the guard who rushed away with the armor.
“Now Mother you know that your ‘guest’ is not perfect either so now we are all on equal standing in your eyes.”
Luna rolled her eyes at her son.
“I did not see the mar, but if you say it was there so be it. I just think you are being stubborn and a bit pig headed. What would happen if Banzan had to go to battle? I doubt you could keep his armor perfect in that case.”
Sesshoumaru smirked.
“Banzan is not going to be in any battle. He is doing much more important things here than he could in any battle. There is no excuse for him when he hasn’t gone anywhere unless I order him to therefore he should strive for perfection.”
Luna scoffed at that.
“You have given him the job of being a servant instead of running one of your many armies like he should be doing. To say he is being used here to his fullest extent is an insult. He has been reduced to a gopher having to take guests back and forth through the castle.”
Sesshoumaru growled.
“He is here to protect my humans. It is an important task and he will be leaving here to gather the fox kit since Inuyasha’s pack is not complete without the brat. The safety of these people I put in more than capable hands.’
“Captain Banzan will be teaching my mate all about strategy and what needs to be done in a battle. He will also be teaching Inuyasha swordsmanship among other things that a Lord should know.’
“He has not been reduced to a gopher. I need someone I can count on Mother so he will not be your entertainment for too long so do not get used to this.”
Luna huffed.
“Well no need to get so worked up my son. You are going to ruin a perfectly good morning with all your negativity. Sending his armor off to be shined I say is just a frivolity since you chose not to dress up at all.”
Sesshoumaru wanted to strike out at someone as he did his best to hold his temper. Yelling at his Mother would do no good and if Banzan left the table he would be called a big baby or some other stupid thing his Mother thought up.
The tension in the air between Mother and son was so thick that you could cut it with a knife and it still would be there.
“Do you wish for me and Inuyasha to get changed?”
Luna shrugged.
“Do what you will Sesshoumaru, this is your castle.”
Sesshoumaru got up from the table and grabbed Inuyasha’s hand yanking the boy up.
“Inuyasha you are coming with me.’
“We will be back, Mother, so do not let our tea become cold.”
At that Inuyasha was practically dragged back into the bedroom.
Sesshoumaru pulled the rope to call the servants into the room while he fumed pacing back and forth.
“She thinks she is so damn funny!”
Sesshoumaru growled as his eyes went from red to white over and over again.
The servants did their best not to touch their Lord too much as they put his armor on and cleared out as fast as they came in. Even Inuyasha was nervous since his brother had not been even that pissed off at him.
“Inuyasha are you dressed?”
Sesshoumaru snarled.
“I am just getting my boots on…….”
Sesshoumaru at that grasped his mate kissing him like there was no tomorrow hoping that would calm him down.
Inuyasha’s eyes bugged out a bit and then slowly closed as he pulled his mate closer.
Sesshoumaru finally let go and waited for Inuyasha to come to.
“I hope that was an interlude for later.”
Inuyasha stated softly as he shook his head trying to get his brain unscrambled.
“It indeed was. Why did you refuse me this morning?”
Inuyasha growled at Sesshoumaru.
“Don’t start that again Sesshoumaru. I do not regret looking for my wife. I told you if we are going to do this mating thing that you were going to have to get used to sharing me. It is not my fault you do not want to mate my wife with me.”

Inuyasha pulled on the other boot and pulled Sesshoumaru up.
“You can’t avoid everyone today. You promised to be there for the changing ceremony and you told your Mother you were coming back.”
Sesshoumaru frowned.
“I suppose I have to keep my word to her even if she is evil incarnate.”
Getting to their feet the two men headed back towards the dining hall.
Kaimu hurried toward the guest chambers to wake up the humans. In the process he almost ran right into Banzan.
