Cursed Love

Kagura made it back to the castle "you're back I see." Naraku said when she she walked inside. "You knew he was going to do that didn't you?"
"I had a suspicion he might do something like that yes, I am glad I sent one of my puppets instead of myself. It helped me figure exactly what kind of demon he was, not to mention some information on that Ichijo character who I still don't trust."
"And?" Kagura asked wanting to know just what kind of demon they were dealing with.
"Oh the Irony in all this." Naraku said as he chuckled at the idea.
"What are you getting at?"
"Surely you jest Kagura did you not see the demon eat my puppet?"
"Yes...but..."
"That demon in that well is a Widow demon, only widow's eat like that."
"I'm afraid you lost me Naraku."
Naraku rolled his eyes as decided to try and explain things to Kagura so she can be on her toes. After all he figured that both that demon and Ichijo would try something. "Ok listen closely Kagura, the demon in the well was killed and dropped in the well, Ichijo's brother was intranced by a widow demon who later killed and ate him. Ichijo wanted revenge for his brother's death so he asked for help from a demon who happens to be a widow demon. Now do you get it Kagura?"
"Yes. But what is Ichijo and the demon's connection to the last surviving widow demon?"
"That is what I am hoping to find out specifically with the demon in the well. For now the demon is on my side."

Kagome headed back to the well, she thought about asking Kaede if she knew anything on this Ichijo charcater when she got back. She checked her belongings before jumping down into the well.
When she made it onto the other side she began to pull herself out of the well. She stopped in her attempt when she heard a low growl she dropped back down into the well and looked around. Certainly she heard it from within the well yet she didn't see anything.
As she began to pull herself out of the well againshe heard an unfamiliar voice. "Ahh the priestess has returned, what a lovely creature I bet her flesh is delicious."
Kagome felt a cold clammy hand run up her leg and attempted to pull herself back down. She used up all her strength to remove the tight grip around her leg. A white flash appeared like the time she touched the caterpillar demon. the demon screamed as it removed it's hand from her.
Kagome quickly got herself out of the well before the demon retailiated. "So you're a Miko priestess? I'll be sure to have you as well as that widow demon."
Everything went quiet all of a sudden. Kagome didn't stay near the well any longer as she headed swiftly back to the village.

Ichijo wandered through the forest until he came across the human village. He spotted the woman known as Kikyo bandaging wounds of villagers. "Priestess Kikyo?" he asked.
"Yes." She said as she finished bandaging one of the men in the village.
"I would like to have a word with you about a certain demon?"
She turned and faced the man for a moment, "very well." she said getting up after bandaging the man and heading to a nearby hut. Ichijo followed behind her. The man who had been bandaged up by the priestess looked up at Ichijo and felt uneasy about the man who arrived.
"Now what about this demon?" Kikyo asked once they were alone.
"Surely you've heard of the black widow demons have you not Kikyo?"
"Who hasn't? So what's the problem with this demon is it reeking havic in villages?"
"Not exactly, let me ask you one question what's you're relationship with Inuyasha?"
"What does any of this have to do with the widow demon you mentioned?"
"What would you think if your Inuyasha was mated to such a demon?"
"That wouldn't happen I made sure of that."
"So you do know what I'm talking about I'm glad. I want your help to get rid of that disgraful demon and in return I'll give you something you desire most."
"There's nothing you can give me for there's nothing I desire from you."
"Oh? Not even a soul to call your own?"
"What do you want me to do?"

Inuyasha wanderd down the hallways of the castle wondering where Ren went. He found Sesshomaru relaxing on a futon in the library. "Hey Sesshomaru have you seen Ren?"
"Ren went to go play with Rin. He figured being with her would give him experience at how to deal with children."
"And where is Rin?"
"Since it's a nice day out Rin would be out in the Orchirds playing or in the garden."
Inuyasha nodded and was about to head out to look for Ren again when Sesshomaru spoke up. "Inuyasha, do you know what's wrong with Ren?"
"What do you mean?"
"well it seems to me that Ren has been acting oddly lately. More so then a normal demon pregnancy. I've been looking over black widow behavior...."
"And?"
"They seem to be very complex. Anyways he surpressing some type of bad memory I'm guessing which is not a good sign."
"So just what should we do about it?"
"Well since he's this far in his pregnancy he'll be in a typical defensive mother mode."
"Meaning?"
"Meaning it will be hard for anybody to go near him without him going defensive on you. Plus this Ichijo character I don't know his angle but the only way for him to be alive after we delt with him in the orchird would be if he sold his soul to a demon."
"Yea I already figured that out."
"Naraku isn't the demon he's working for."
"Then who?"
"I'm not going to worry about that right now I wnat to make sure Ren is comfortable after all I got a family to raise, yet now I have the risk of a war happening."
"A war?"
"Yea that Bastard Usagi wanted me to marry his daughter Yoshi so he could have rights to my land. He's pissed now knowing I'm already mated, he'll stop at nothing to know that Ren is the one I'm mated to."
"Well I guess I should go see if I can find Ren now."
"Yea do that. I want you to keep a close eye on both Ren and Rin when I'm not around is that clear Inuyasha."
"Of course."
Inuyasha left the room and headed outside to find Ren. He noticed Rin running around playing with Jaken. "Inuyasha." she said with a smile.
"Rin have you seen Ren?"
"Ren went inside after a while he didn't feel well." Rin said.
Inuyasha turned around and went back inside as he wandered down the halls yet again he heard a melody. He stopped and listened to the melody for a bit wondering where that song was coming from. Sesshomaru stepped out from the library "it's coming from upstairs." He said as he went up a flight of stairs Inuyahsa following right behind him.
