The Preparations Complete

Benten looked at their friends. "Today is the day. The Blue Moon is tonight. All of our planning comes to an end tonight. If everything turns out right."

Gekka turned to face the others and rubbed his hands together in anticipation. "I can't wait to see the collars work tonight."

Aizen sighed "I will just be glad when this is over."

Benten laughed "Who said this would be the end? I don't think our work is done quite yet. Besides I am having so much fun with these people. Besides we have to consider the monk and the taijiya. And did you really think I would let the hanyou Inuyasha stay with the walking zombie. Although Kagome is too good for him I have someone in mind that would do him the world of good."

Gekka and Aizen stared at each other and then back to the goddess. "Oh no not after all the trouble we had with Sesshoumaru and Kagome." Gekka shivered when Benten just glared at him.

Aizen stared at Benten. Had she totally lost her mind. Maybe the stress has finally gotten to her. "Benten I agree with Gekka. I don't think I am up to any more trials right now."

"You guys have just gone soft. Your getting lazy. I thought you all loved the excitement. I haven't enjoyed myself in such a long time. I want to do more." Benten pouted at the gods.

"Fine we will help you in your schemes but don't say we didn't warn you." Aizen shook his head and sighed.

Gekka faced his two friends "Before we start on the others can we at least get Sesshoumaru and Kagome straightened out first. It's not completed yet. We have much to do to get ready for tonight." He disappeared and was followed by his friends.

Sesshoumaru was awoken by a knock on his door. He sat up and put his feet on the floor. "Enter" He watched as Hona, followed by several servants walked into the room.

Hona bowed to Sesshoumaru. "The garments you requested are complete my Lord." She waved her hand to the servants holding the garments.

"Show me the one for the demoness." He stood and walked to Hona's side.

Hona retrieved the garments from a servant and held it up for Sesshoumaru to see. It was dark blue and it had full moons over it and pairs of Inu Youkai's facing each other in the moons.

"You have chosen well Hona. Leave the garments there." He pointed to the table against the wall of his room.

Hona watched the servants gently place the garments down and then they all left. Hona turned to bow to Sesshoumaru before leaving his room.

"Jaken!" Sesshoumaru knew the that the imp was around some where close. It didn't take long for the imp to enter his room.

"Yes my lord." Jaken waited for his lord to give his orders.

"I need to see Chiaki and while she is here you will watch over Rin." Sesshoumaru dismissed the imp and walked to the table. He found Rin's garments and placed them on his bed. Chiaki knocked on his door. "Enter"

My Lord wished to see me?" Chiaki walked into the room and bowed to Sesshoumaru.

"I am taking Rin to a Festival today." He handed her the clothes "She will wear this and you will accompany her. When we get to the festival you will also be watching a kitsune pup named Shippou and a human boy named Kohaku. But know this you will guard them with your life. I will send two guards to accompany you." He walked over to the table and retrieved the kitsune's clothes and those for the ningen boy. He handed these to Chiaki also. "When you get to the village I leave you to get the children dressed and out of the ladies maids way."

Chiaki hugged the garments to her. It must be some festival for her Lord to go. He never attended anything. I had best hurry and prepare Rin. It would take awhile. She sent Jaken back to Sesshoumaru.

Jaken went back to Sesshoumaru. My lord must have an important meeting planned for today. He entered Sesshoumaru's room. "Will there be anything else my lord?"

Sesshoumaru turned to Jaken "Yes Jaken there is. I need transportation for Chiaki and a few ladies maids to travel to my brothers village. Ah Un needs readied for travel also. They maids and Chiaki will depart shortly. See that it is done."

Jaken bowed at his lord "Yes My Lord." He left the room to go to the stables.

Sesshoumaru called for Eijiro. He sat at the desk in his room and waited for the captain.

Eijiro knocked and entered the room. He had never seen Sesshoumaru's castle so busy. Sesshoumaru had people running in every direction. "Yes my Lord."

"I will need you and another guard to accompany Rin and a Kitsune named Shippou today. You will pick your best warrior to accompany you on this task.
These children must be protected and I will not take any chances on their lives. You will also send some troops to protect the maids and Chiaki while they travel to Inuyasha's village this morning. They must hasten so that the maids can help the ladies prepare. Warn the guards that ningens will be in the village and at the festival. They are to do nothing to cause trouble with any of them. Do I make myself clear?"

Eijiro bowed to his lord. "I will see to it right away." He hurried out of the room. Well if he had to baby sit at least he got to do it with Chaiki. His day wouldn't be totally ruined.

Terumi knocked on Sesshoumaru's door and entered when told too. She stopped in the center of the room "My lord I have found the maids you requested."

"Thank you Terumi. You may leave now." He turned to look at the maids. They were clean and well trimmed yes they would work. "I require for you to travel to my brothers village and find the demoness Kagome and the taijiya Sango. You will help them bathe, dress and fix their hair for them. They are not to lift a finger to do anything today. You two will see to it. Do you understand?" He waited for their nods before he continued. "Those garments are for the women. Guard them till you reach the ladies. The blue one is for the demoness and the pink and black one is for the taijiya. They may not want your help but do not let them refuse. It will be hard but I expect you two to win this battle with them. Ryouji is making crowns for the females and they will be delivered before noon. When they arrive you will fit them to the girls. Taken anything with you that you may require and make sure that both girls are prepared before dark. You will be leaving now and I have summoned guards to protect you on your travels." He nodded his head and watched the girls take the garments and leave the room.

Jaken entered his room again. "My lord they are ready to go."

"Jaken you will accompany Rin on Ah Un. I will arrive at the village later but Chiaki must take Rin and travel with the rest of the group. And Jaken you will stay with Rin and the other children when you get there." He watched the imp grimace at that but it couldn't be helped.

"Aye my lord. I will go fetch the child and Chiaki so we may depart now."

Sesshoumaru walked to the front of his castle and waited for Rin and Chiaki to join in the entourage.

Rin ran out of the castle and attached herself to his leg,. "Lord Sesshoumaru, Chiaki said the Rin was having an adventure today."

"And so you are. I will join you later Rin until then listen to Chiaki and Jaken."
He patted her head and lifted her onto Ah Un.

"Aye Lord Sesshoumaru, Rin will listen to Chiaki and Jaken." She waved to him as Ah Un flew into the air.

Sesshoumaru watched everyone depart. Now all he needed was for Ryouji to finish the crowns. He returned to his room and prepared his own clothes for the festival. He opened the doors to his closet and found the black kimono and haori that he had wore at the camp. What was that doing there. He took it out and placed it on his bed. Then he headed for his personal springs. He called for some food to be brought to him there. Before he reached the door another knock sounded on his door. "Enter"

Ryouji entered the room followed by four servants Each one was carrying a box. Ryouji nodded to the first servant and he stepped in front of Sesshoumaru and opened his box. "This is for the taijiya."

Sesshoumaru looked at the delicate tiara in the box. "That is satisfactory."
He watched the second servant step forward and opened his box. He lifted the crown out of the box. It was silver and gold and the design matched that of the collars. "You did a very good Ryouji. It is perfect. What is in the other boxes?"
He watched the last two servants step forward and opened their boxes. Ryouji had made fans and necklaces to match the crown and tiara. He looked at Ryouji in question to these items.

"I took the liberty of designing fans and necklaces to match the tiara and crown. I thought the ladies needed the accessories to go with he crown and tiara." He bowed to Sesshoumaru.

"Good thinking Ryouji. Now dispatch the items to my brothers village. Deliver them to the maids that I have already sent." He waved Ryouji away and went to start his bath. He might get it completed now.
