The Reunion


Benten, Aizen and Gekka stood back away from Sesshoumaru and Kagome. They watched Binzu approach the demon lord and the demoness.

Binzu walked up to Sesshoumaru and spoke to him softly. After a few minutes Sesshoumaru laid Kagome on the ground and stepped away from her. Binzu kneeled beside the demoness and placed his hands over her body. He could feel the magic in the powder that the evil hanyou had used. But he could take it out with no trouble. He ran his hands up her body from on side to the next. He had to ignore the growls coming from behind him. When he was done he stood and faced the demon lord once again. "I have taken the magic out of her. You should know that the powder that was used was made by a miko. I can't tell you who exactly made it though. She will awaken soon." With that he turned and left the couple alone. He returned to his companions and they all left together.

Sesshoumaru picked up Kagome and gave Kohaku on last glance. He should be ok in the bubble. So he carried Kagome to the lake. He walked into the lake and tore a piece of his kimono off and used it to clean the blood and gore from her. He used his tail to hold her and then his hand removed her soiled clothes. Once all her clothes were off he finished cleaning her where he couldn't reach before. When he was done he stared at her body. It was perfect. Her breast were just big enough to fill his hand and the nipples were rosy. He ran his hand along the tip of one and watched it harden into a tight peak. He could hear her heartbeat quicken and smiled. She should wake soon. He carried her to the bank and laid her down on a soft patch of grass. He removed his armor and outer kimono. He held Kagome up and placed his kimono on her. It was overly large but he used his sash to hold it closed. He picked her up and carried her back to the boy. He could feel her stirring he was glad that she was unharmed.
He sat down and leaned back against a tree then he placed Kagome on his lap. Now he waited for her to wake up so she could finish her project with the boy.

Kagome felt someone rubbing something over her body but she couldn't tell what it was. The she felt the hand on her breast. She used her powers to search for the identity of the person and relaxed once she found Sesshoumaru. Leave it to him to feel me up when I'm asleep. Maybe he has been hanging around Miroku when I wasn't looking. Oh well I just hope that he doesn't do too much more than that. I am too tired to do anything about it. She went back to sleep and woke up a little later. She found herself in Sesshoumaru's lap and both their tails were wrapped around each other to keep them warm. She smiled up at Sesshoumaru. "I like waking up like this."

"I don't mind it either and if we didn't have and audience I would show you just how much." Sesshoumaru watched her look around the clearing to see who else was there.

Kagome saw Kohaku still encased in her bubble. She didn't know her bubbles would last when she wasn't awake to hold on to them. She was glad though. Now she got to do something nice for her sister Sango. She unwrapped her tail and stood up. She walked over to Kohaku and placed her hands on the bubble. She started chanting and watched as the boy collapsed inside the bubble. Once she was sure he was asleep she released the bubble and lowered the boy to the ground. Kagome turned him over and took her claws and cut the shard out of his back. She tried to be as gentle as possible. She didn't want to hurt him too much. She held him as he died in her arms and lowered him to the ground. She stepped back away from him while Sesshoumaru drew the Tensaiga.

Sesshoumaru watched Kagome take the shard out of the boy and walked up behind her. When she placed the boy on the ground and stepped away he walked up to the boy. He placed the Tensaiga over the boy and saw the underworld demons ready to take his soul. He swung the sword and dispatched the demons and the boy started breathing again. He placed Tensaiga back in its sheath and stepped away from the boy.

Kagome rushed to Kohaku and held him when he started to cry. "Why didn't you let me die. I don't deserve to live." He tried to get away from the girl holding him but she was just too strong.

Kagome felt the tears coming to her eyes. "Kohaku what you did was no fault of yours. You were being controlled by a vicious hanyou. He takes pride in ruining other peoples lives. And I know one person who would be very glad to see you alive and out of his control." Kagome took his hand and stood. She smiled at Sesshoumaru. "Thank you Sesshoumaru."

"I will see you to the village then I will return to my castle." He waited till Kagome called her cloud forward and helped the boy on it before he called his. He followed the to the edge of the village and watched her continue on to the old miko's hut. Then he turned and left her.

Kagome landed her cloud outside Kaede's door. She placed Kohaku behind her and held onto his hand. "Stay there" she whispered. Then she turned back to the door and yelled "SANGO!"

Sango was helping Kaede start dinner when she heard Kagome holler for her. Why didn't she just come inside. Oh well she raised her shoulders and apologized to Kaede. "I will be back in a moment." She walked out the door to see what Kagome wanted. "Kagome I was just in the hut you could have came in you know."

Kagome smiled at her "I have something I wanted to give you but I didn't want to do it in the hut."

What did she have behind her back? And why did she have Sesshoumaru's kimono on? "What do you have now?"

"You have to close your eyes and promise not to open them till I tell you too." Kagome was trying hard not to laugh and was afraid she was beginning to fail miserably.

Sango was wary of what Kagome wanted her to do and when she noticed the laughter shaking frame she was positive she didn't want to do it the only reason she would was because she trusted her friend. So she closed her eyes and waited.

Kagome pulled Kohaku from behind her back and held him in front of her. She had felt him tense at the sound of his sisters voice but she wasn't about to let the boy disappear. "Ok open your eyes."

Sango opened her eyes. She never expected to see Kagome holding her brother in front of her. "Kohaku!" Sango ran and fell down in front of Kohaku and pulled him into her arms. She cried on his shoulder and looked behind him to Kagome. She was crying with her. "How did you, I mean why is he with you and alive?" She pulled back from Kohaku and held his dear face in her hands before crushing him to her again. Still crying.

Kagome could sense the rest of the gang coming to see what was happening and Kaede came out of her hut.

Everyone had come running when Sango had shouted her brothers name. They had been sure Naraku was up to something again. But they found no sign of the hanyou. Just Sango hugging her brother half to death. They watched the tearful reunion of brother and sister. They knew Kagome had been the one to bring the boy to his sister.

Miroku walked up to Kagome and bowed to her. "Kagome I am forever in your debt for helping Sango in such a way." Then he walked over to Sango and laid his hand on her shoulder. "Sango I think your brother needs to breath. His face is starting to resemble my robe."

Sango looked up at the monk and smiled at him. Then she pulled back a little from her brother. "Kohaku I just want you to know that I don't blame you for what happened to father and the others. You were not yourself. But I also know that you will have to learn to deal with it in your own way. Just remember that I will be there for you." She jumped up and ran to Kagome and hugged her tight. "Thank you Kagome. Now tell me how you managed it?"

"I was by a lake near by and Kagura attacked me so I ran into the forest and straight into Kohaku and a hoard of demons. A man came and helped me fight the demons but the first thing I did was place a bubble around Kohaku so he wouldn't get hurt. Then Sesshoumaru showed up and once the hoard was dispatched I removed the shard in Kohaku's back and held him while he died. Then Sesshoumaru used Tensaiga to bring him back. That's about it I think." Kagome returned Sango's hug.

Sango was in shock. "You mean Sesshoumaru brought my brother back. Why would he do something like that?"

Kagome smiled at Sango "I asked him nicely that's all. He isn't as mean as you think he is." She turned away from the group and went into the hut to finish supper.

The group was amazed by her tale. They were happy that Kohaku was free from Naraku's control. That was one less thing the group had to worry about. Everyone followed Kagome into the hut and they all enjoyed the meal that evening.
By bedtime everyone was ready for bed. It had been a long day for everyone. Sango put Kohaku in her sleeping bag and laid down beside him. Miroku gave Sango his blanket and Kaede gave Miroku her spare one. Kagome settled Shippou down with her and soon everyone was asleep.

Kagome's Dream

Kagome found herself in the meadow again. A lady was waiting on her so she walked up to her and bowed. "Do you have a message for me?"

Benten smiled down at the girl. "I do though you may not believe it when I tell you."

Kagome stood up straight and faced the lady again. "After the last week or so that I have had I am ready to believe anything."

Now Benten laughed. This girl took things in stride. Hope she keeps that perspective. "You will have a couple of allies come looking for you in a couple of days. But be warned they were once your enemies but I ask that you give them a chance to prove themselves. They will be important to your mission."

Kagome frowned at the lady. "Who are they?"

Benten took a deep breath "They are known as Kagura and Kanna."

"How did they escape Naraku's control?" Kagome was confused royally now.

"I helped them. They were being used by the hanyou and I freed Kagura from her bondage. She will free her sister and come to you for aid. I request that you not turn them away." Benten sat down in the meadow.

"I will help them all I can but the rest of my friends will need a little more convincing. They don't trust as easily as I do." Kagome sat down beside the lady. It has been an interesting day and the surprises keep coming.

"If anyone can convince your friends I know you can. I will let you get some sleep now Kagome you will need it for tomorrow." She stood and left Kagome alone in the meadow.

Kagome returned to her sleep and didn't stir for the rest of the night.

Sesshoumaru left Kagome in the village and flew off to his castle. He had a lot to do if he wanted to take Rin to the festival tomorrow. He made it to his castle just after dark. He entered the castle and yelled "JAKEN!!!!!" He could hear the imp come running.

"Yes my lord" He bowed to Sesshoumaru.

"I want to see the seamstress now." He stalked off to his study. He laid his armor down on a chair beside his desk. He flipped through the scrolls that arrived today. Jaken can deal with those tomorrow. He heard a knock at the door "Enter" The seamstress followed Jaken into the room. "Jaken take my armor and polish it till it shines." He waited till the imp left before facing the seamstress. "Hona I need two kimonos for a festival they are for ladies I do not know their sizes so you will have to improvise and if possible to accompany the garments to the ladies so you can fit them. I will also need a new one made for Rin for the same purpose and they must be completed by morning. Now one of the ladies is a Inu Youkai so make the adjustments to fit her tail. The other is a human. I would like for the demonesses kimono to be done in my colors and I do believe the human is partial to pink and black. I want the best material used and I need one for a Kitsune pup and a human boy. You make take any servants you need to complete your task when the garments are done report to me." He watched the seamstress bow to him and almost run out of the room. He could hear her hollering for various servants. Then he sent Eijiro for the jeweler. It didn't take long.

"My lord you wished to see me?" Ryouji entered the study and watched his lord.

"Yes I require you to make two crowns for me. One is for a human taijiya and the other is for a inu demoness. For the taijiya I leave the design up to you but for the demoness I want you to use this." He handed the picture to the jeweler. "Can you have them done by morning."

Ryouji swallowed hard. It would take him and his apprentices all night but he would see them done. One didn't turn down a request from the Western Lord. "Yes my lord I will have them done." He bowed to the lord and left the room. He had to get busy.

Sesshoumaru called for Terumi his main housekeeper next. She knocked on his door then walked into the room. "Yes my lord"

"Terumi I need two ladies maids to be able to travel with all supplies needed to dress two ladies and another to help Rin dress in the morning. The ones who travel have a few hours to prepare." He watched her bow and leave the room.
That should cover everything. He left the study to retire until his projects were complete.
