Cursed Love

"Kagome hurry up!" her friends called out to her.
"Sorry." Kagome said putting her book in her bag before catching up to her friends.
"What took you so long?"
"I got engrossed in a book."
"Which one?"
"Umm....well." Kagome said starting to blush she didn't want her friends to know she was reading a child's book.
"Are you reading a naughty story Kagome?"
"What? No!"
"Let's see." they said excitedly as they grabbed her bags pulling her books out.
"The Sorcerer Ichijo? Kagome why are you reading a child's story?"
"Isn't this the story where a man sells his soul to a demon in exchange for great power, so he can get revenge on the witch who killed his brother or something like that?"
"Yea I believe so. Kagome your fifteen years old this story is for kids your brother's age not you. What would Hojo think he heard you were reading children's stories?"
"Um...aren't we going to be late if we don't hurry up?" Kagome asked changing the subject as she put all her books back in her bag.
"Hey Kagome what ever happened to that friend of yours?"
"What friend?"
"You know the jealous one?"
"Oh um...well we kind of broke up in a way."
"Is it because of Hojo?"
"Probably, couldn't take the competition and asked you to choose between him and Hojo huh?"
"What? No."
"Then what happened?"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Poor girl she must have been dumped." Her friends whispered to themselves as they followed Kagome to school.

"So Ichijo is working with somebody else is that what your saying Kagura?" Naraku asked.
"That's correct Naraku, at least that's what it looks like. He also has the shards of the shikon jewel in posession after throwing that priestess wench in the well."
"I see. So he thinks he can con a demon well I'll take care of this personally."
"What do you plan to do?"
"First I will keep a close watch on him while I get my plans ready. Kanna!"
The girl with the mirror came into the room holding up her mirror. An image of Ichijo appeared sitting playing with his belongings thinking. "I need those shards, lets see how he deals with the nearby demons." Naraku said a slight grin appearing on his lips as he thought up a plan.

Ichijo pondered the best way to get at that widow demon. He decided to get some dirt on Ren's mates if he knew a little about them maybe he could find an advantage point somewhere. Ichijo picked up his things and headed for the village that Inuyasha lived.

"When will Kagome be back?" Shippo asked impatiently.
"Shippo it's only been a day, she said she'd be back in three days." Miroku said.
"Hey Sango, about Inuyasha why does he not want to kill Naraku anymore?" Shippo asked.
"He's got more important things to worry about now. You'll understand when you're older."
"Yea but doesn't he want his revenge for Kikyo's death?"

Ichijo wandered through the forest and heard there conversation about Inuyasha and this Kikyo person. "Hmm perhaps I can get this Kikyo person to help me out if I offer what she desires. Now all I have to do is find out where she is." Ichijo said to himself.
Ichijo left back into the forest to hunt down Kikyo. He came across the well he talked to his master at before. He decided to have a chat with him. "Ichijo where is that widow sacrifice you promised me?"
"All in good time my lord. I need to find the priestess Kikyo to help me."
"You? Need help from a priestess? What makes you think she'll help you?"
"She despises black widow demons as well."
"What do you want from me?"
"Point me in the right direction I can find her."
"What's in it for me?"
"I have some jewel shards."
There was silence for a while until a hand reached up waiting for the shards to drop into his hand. Ichijo dropped the shards into the demon's hand and waited. "Yes this will do nicely, I can feel my body rejuvinating I shall be complete once again and I can finally get out of this incased well."
"Um...which way can find Kikyo?"
Huh? Oh right that wench." He lifted his body up part way out of the well. He then pointed to the left "She's in there deep in the forest in a clearing where a hehe human village dwells."
Ichijo bowed before heading towards the forest. "Just a moment!" the demon yelled.
Ichijo turned. "I still can't get out of this dreadful well. I need some more jewel shards along with the widow demon."
"Yes sir I'll be sure to get you some." Ichijo said before heading off into the forest.

"So that's who he is? The Sorcerer Ichijo. That's how he's going to play his game. Kagura!"
"What?"
"That demon in the well do you recognize him?"
"No."
"He is supposedly the ultimate demon. Forget the widow demon if I consume him instead I will be powerful even without the jewel shards."
"So what do you want to do about it?"
"I want you to take a puppet of myself to him so I can talk to him."
Kagura rolled her eyes she figured that would be the case, why was she always doing the dirty work of Naraku? Naraku formed a puppet and waited to see what will happen.
"This is what you get for deceving me Ichijo and you'll be next." Naraku said as he watched the mirror.
